Club Mahindra Thekkady is located in the Kumily region and is close to the market as well as major hotels. The resort is well-maintained, as per club Mahindra standards. The food is also upto the mark. Staff is courteous and very helpful. The resort is lined with different species of trees and plants. There is also a gym, Fun zone and spa here. If you're planning to visit Kerala, this is a must!

Great location unlike most CM resorts. It's near to the local markets. CM has set a high standard for themselves and therefore even a little drop in service is noticeable. Nevertheless, a great place to stay with good amenities, a pool, spa and restaurant that serves clean and delicious fare. The menu is consistent with other CM resorts and also features some local dishes like Appam Stew.

On the plus side, this is located close to the town and shops for basic necessities are just a walk away. On the negative side, while the resort is very well laid out with plenty of greenery, the cottages are rather crowded together and privacy is at a premium. The housekeeping service is slow, and in many cases, unresponsive, which was a first for a Club Mahindra resort.

Good resort… Small in size compared to other CM resorts but set up in a lush green acreage with beautiful cottages… Fun zone and evening activities could do better.

The resort has a swimming pool, good restaurant, fun zone with different daily activities, sight seeing and sweet and cordial people working there to help you around. The rooms can be better with more facilities and if not asked for a good room, they give you the smallest room possible with least facilities.

Right place to stay in a nature ambience. Very friendly and polite staffs, Excellent service. Offered varieties of Tastier food.

With single cottages which are very spacious, a good pool, engaging adventure activities and fun zone (some of the games in here are chargeable) it is a good place for family vacation. Rooms are neat. No Air conditioning. Property is pretty good with walkways and greenery. You will get your privacy here. Staffs are well behaved as well. The full amount needs to be paid in advance. Recommended.

Wonderful resort with all amenities. Though definitely not for senior citizens or people with knee issues. Green canopy covers entire resort with some exotic tress and plants. Resort has thoughtfully put name tags on many such trees. Food was little costly. Swimming pool was tiny but in a lovely settings. Use of wood for interiors made the place look rich and attractive. Though rooms don't have view, settings made up for it. Rooms are in need of little maintenance. Staff was good.

A very good resort. Like other club Mahindra resorts the place is very nice and great. The cottages are the best place to stay. I have stayed in the cottages and rooms. I feel one should book the cottages, not the rooms. The room service is smooth, efficient and fast. The rooms in the cottages are big. The swimming pool however, could be a bit better and bigger. The gym room, spa and resturant is outstanding. The fun zone is the best external service of club Mahindra. They have indoor games and X Box and PS, which has the best attraction of the kids. Apart from that, you also have jungle jeep safari, which is exclusive service of club Mahindra. Overall, had a very good experience, and a very good resort. The best resort in thekaddy.

Location and facilities are as good as usual to Mahindra top standards. Buffet is not really worth, given that resort is located at a walkable distance from core town you can look for outside food. To our surprise we found dead dry lizard in chacoos dispenser in the buffet breakfast, of course I don't have pic proof for the same. They changed it after we showed them.

It was good. Private cottages are the highlights. Breakfast was good too. However the pool was closed. And we did not like the entertainment evening dance organized by your fun manager. It was a waste of time. Could have engaged us into something else. Also everything is charged at the game area. Should not be. Otherwise it was good.

Not the best of CM properties. Too many monkeys. We lost our son's swimming shorts, which was put for drying outside the room. Property is very small, but is in the city itself, unlike many other properties. Food is cheaper and better outside. Lots of european dishes are available, as many a tourists are from Europe. If you are planning to take a boat ride in the Reserve Forest, it is recommended to book online beforehand.

This is a nice hotel and the staff is very friendly and have a fun zone which is really awesome. This property boasts a green and lush surrounding this resort also have some outdoor activities as well rope climbing and swimming pool. This property contains spacious rooms and the staff here is very friendly.

Am I a member? No! Absolutely not. But, was I treated like a member. Oh, YES! Like a VIP member! The place is serene and the staff are so well mannered, professional, friendly and whatever you'd expect them to be. Services like Restaurant, Spa, Adventure activities and Massage facilities are a bit costly, but it's worth every hard earned penny you spend. Almost all the places you'd like to visit around Thekkady are accessible by Autos, which comes cheap for hire (Around 350 per day) and Jeep (700 per day). But, after a days trip, when you come back to your room tired and exhausted, Club Mahindra's ambience could lift your spirits up to the full bar again. Wonderful and memorable stay!

Excellent environment, staff was quite friendly and cooperative. Rooms were clean. Fun zone is worth spending time for. Enjoyed dance class and playing few games here.

We had a lovely Christmas eve at Club Mahindra, Thekkady. The staff were vey helpful. Clean and neat place.

Good and well maintained property. Very meticulously kept. Cottages are beautiful. Nice ambience.

Rooms are good but they are not. Doing a great job maintaining. It goes for same for the entire facility. Staff experience was great as usual but service was very poor and not per standards of other club Mahindra facility. It's worth mentioning that at 9am there was only one staff handling 3-4 checkouts which added to the delay.

Great staff;energetic and informative. Very friendly and helpful. Cozy shared cottages. Winding path to the cottages may be a problem for senior citizens, but is well maintained. Great place for kids.

Located closer to main junction. Rooms are perfectly maintained. Weather is superb to spend time there. Service is very good.

Very good property and maintained well. Near to wild life sanctuary. Maintain the same forest theme in side the resort also. Good food and variety of activities.

Provides a good stay for a day or 2. Nice spicr plantation around the cottages. Multiple indoor activities like Table tennis, chess, pool, and activities for kids available at fun zone. L Swimming pool not very clean but okay…

Lovely place. So cozy and into the nature. You can hear birds and crickets chirping and it's lovely to hear them. Great hospitality by the staff members.

Excellent location, Proximity to most of the entertainment in Thekkady. The resort is set in a forest setup with lots of trees and greenery which is a surprise considering the entrance location. During monsoon you should be aware of the mosquitoes and take necessary precautions. The resort has a good swimming pool, authentic Kerala type architecture all around and all rooms have an excellent balcony where you can sit comfortably and have a relaxing time. On the downside everything is costly, food is tasty but not out of the world tasty and buffet menu options are very limited for the price. Breakfast is very good though.

This is closest one can be to nature and yet not leave the comfort of modern luxury. Weather is great since the place is amidst lush green cover. Spread across 3.5 acres with about 49 studios (large rooms to accommodate a family of 2+2), small narrow Lanes, has a small swimming pool, adventure sports, play area for kids etc, very near walkable distance to the tekkady market.

It's a perfect get away place. Rooms are spacious and cozy. Neat and tidy. Swimming pool was awesome. Food was good but expensive. You could find good alternates outside. Activities center is good. I have not used the other trips offered by the club but, it must be good. Since I got the room as complement I couldn't comment on the tariffs.

Good OLD resort, Since its old all the fittings and electrical connections are old and rusty. Bad wood smell welcomes you in every room.

I like this place a lot. I stayed in a studio room. The property is maintained in a way that we feel we are in the middle of a forest. Nice greenery. Lot of options for entertainment including a spa where you can relax with the traditional Ayurvedic massage. The staffs are very friendly. Altogether a very nice experience.

Aesthetically designed cottages. Friendly staff. Good spread. Was there during X'mas. Interesting evening program was organised with lavish spread and lots of gifts.

Need to work on the facilities! Golden waters in kumarakom way better.

Not a RCI GOLD CROWN standard at all. Being a member I had booked and hence stayed in a 1 bedroom cottage. They are not they are advertised per se. No welcome. No nothing. Had to call for everything in the room. Towels, toilett paper, TV remote etc etc. Reaching room service required you to try30 min everytime. And becuase we had to call for evrything. It was a big pain. There are a lot of good bits too, especially I service side. But they don't help cover up the spoilt experience after travelling on rail and road for 12 hours. The best time we hd was outside the resort. This does not match other club mahindra prperties in quality and service.
