We loved their hospitality, excellent food and helpful staff, near to tiger reserve and centre of the town, but very peaceful atmosphere, we enjoyed our stay.

Never go to abad green forest. As it is not a safe and secure place.

It was a great relaxing moments with good atmosphere and good hospitality Abad resorts always give a homely atmosphere for me.

It is good that there is a national park, but actually there is nothing to see but forest. Maybe a bison in the distance, but who has a good binoculars with them.

Abad Green Forest Resort is situated at center a very convenient location from where you can once inside resort you feel like you are in jungle and at very secluded place and on other hand stepping outside gate will take you to main city centre itself. There are many shops which sells indian spices at a reasonable price around the hotel. Hotel itself is very beautiful, it doesn't have a large building but it have separate small buildings consisting 2-3 rooms. They provide all amenities which you would expect from a resort. Their in-house restaurant is also very good and does serve you delicious food.

Abad Green Forest Resort in Thekkady is a cozy property that will bring you close to nature. It's rooms are well appointed and has many facilities to keep the guests entertained. Staff are warm and welcoming.

The place has an amazing ambience and the amenities are perfect. The rooms are great and the pool is clean. You may encounter some wildlife out there. Monkeys and all are likely to enter the rooms. The hotel's menu and food is something to die for. The food is great and the quality is unmatched, even the staff is very helpful. Over all experience out there was amazing and relaxing.

Resort is good cleaned. Good food. However the atmosphere is cozy. Need to walk a lot in resort to go to rooms. For senior citizen it become difficult.

Stayed for 2 nights. It was very comfortable. Just outside the resort it is a bit crowded but surprisingly inside feel is pretty close to nature and peaceful. The staff was very helpful too.

As the name suggests it has got a theme of forest, there are monkeys, birds, trees and even lot of mosquito outside. Very good view for all rooms. Food quality is awesome. Swimming pool is like one into forest.

Place is nice. Amenities too are up to the mark. But beware of the restaurant. You order today and the food may arrive tomorrow!

Fantastic stay! One of the better looking resorts with greenery all round. Has coffee plants around the walkways. The highlight is that the resort is in the middle of the town and yet very quite. The staffs are very polite and their buffet is a good spread.

It can be anyones favourite place in Thekkady and so is mine. This hotel provides clean rooms with all the amenities needed for a traveller. The food quality is good. It is located close to the main market especially suitable for those planning to buy Lots of chocolates, spices and banana chips. The Periyar National Park is also a walking distance from the hotel. We went in jeep early in morning from here. They get your breakfast packed nicely if you have to rush up in morning. Highly recommended for Couples and family.

Decent place. Looks old now. Location average, situated in middle of town. If you are looking a nature oriented place, look elsewhere. Breakfast was good. Food prices normal and taste was good. Rooms are decent.

Nice facility with small Doppelbunkalows. Room quite spacious with Wi-Fi, TV, Minibar and air conditioning. Spacious bathroom!

It's nice but no more. In my opinion, these villas — bungalow glued to each other, do not deserve the privilege of being called GREEN FOREST RESORT. Because I've seen some of the most authentic ones in other Southeast Asian countries like in Thailand and Philippines.

Value for money… one of the best foods served in restaurant at amazing price at par with any lousy kafes on d street. Appreciate the restaurant staff and the cook great food. Rooms and property also excellent!

Stay as like in forest… Many varity of birds can be watch from the cottage balcony… Spacious room… Swimming pool with Children's Park… Highest lable in room service… With big restaurant… Varieties of Breakfast menu of all type of menu…

Right at Kumily junction with ample parking space. Overall experience was good. Go for cottages rather than jungle lodges which are just rooms with an extended balcony. Rooms are well maintained. Food is good both — in room dining and restaurant… buffet breakfast and Christmas dinner was great. Pool is also well maintained. There is a small kids play area too. There is a church and a cemetery right in front of the jungle lodge complex. Hope that doesn't sound eerie :-)

The hotel structure is just superb as it had created a jungle type cottages. The rooms were splendid. The dine in hotel was also great and service was also great.

Hotel average but in the city center, the rooms are located in a large building with two floors or one rises by a ramp quite slippery when it rains. Important detail, the trees are home to monkeys, so you have to be careful or walk. The rooms are average but with a small balcony (attention monkeys) The meals there are very decent but without alcohol!

Amazing. The wildlife was super. Chalet in lovely position. Swimming pool perfect. Super buffet selection. Lovely staff… all in all a wonderful experience.

Loved the dinner menu, and restaurant staff were good too. Place is actually situated comfortably in town so walkabout was easy. Access to shops — spices & chocolate!

Abad Green Forest is a beautifully built resort. It has excellent fine dine restaurant. The staff is very co-operative. They have many facilities such as swimming pool, spa and ayurvedic spice shop. Though it is located in the middle of a small town, the premises is filled with trees and beautiful bushes. Rooms are spacious and well made. Washrooms are equipped with all the necessary amenities. Overall for a 4 hotel resort, Abad is a good place to spend your nights.

The room was very clean and the breakfast was very good.

We stayed here for one night only. Staffs are supportive. Ambience was good. Feel of jungle in the middle of the city. Didn't quite liked the buffet dinner. May be the menu for the day was not matching our type of food. But alacarte order facility unavailability quite surprised me. So you have no choice going for the buffet option. Next day breakfast was very good so I ignored the inconvenience felt during dinner time. Anyways nice hotel to stay on.

Stayed in hotel with family, enjoyed all moments… The staff was friendly and cordial, was really surprised to see the alertness and responsiveness of the staff, during our stay the power failure happened and within a minute the staff was available to assist with emergency lights. Restaurant and ambiance was good and the resort location being in a centralised location town easily helped us to visit the different sightseeing locations…

It was an amazing experience in my life. Really enjoyed. The morning view from the hotel was amazing. Also the food, really enjoyed the south Indian dishes. Friendly staff.

Well maintained and clean cottages with nice bathroom, fantastic swimming pool and good restaurant. The hotel premises are clean, greenish and aesthetic. But outside the hotel, only activity for a family is 1 hour boating in thekkady lake.

Abad Green Forest is located at prime location in Thekkady. Non Veg food is great. Cottages offered are spacious and have nice green view. Try to get cottage by swimming pool, it has amazing view. 1 star less for which was little slow but not that bad. Overall good place to stay.

Great place but not much to do at thekkady.

It's a spacious and excellent hotel. There is good food to eat and comfortable rooms. The surroundings are very clean, and there is no sign of insects like mosquitoes or houseflies.
