Awesome location. Friendly staff and really great food than many other places in munnar. Value for money.

Good place to stay. The location is very good and calm. Staffs are very friendly. River view and sound is great. The best place to stay for a long vacation. You can see fireflies in the night.

Compact, comfortable bungalows overlooking the river and small forest area. Very peaceful and serene. Fantastic staff who are always more than happy to help. Great free walking tour of the tea plantations, provided by a staff member from a sister hotel. The place is down a long, bumpy road and can be difficult to find without Google maps. About 20 minutes from Munnar Town.

Awesome stay for private couple… bit far from munnar but the location & friendliness & the quality of room makes up for the distance. After all hill stations are about experience & not points of sightseeing… very cool place to spend… great staff.

The morning view on the hillside is breathtaking from the rooms. The resort staff is polite and the food is tasty. They have built this resort on a hill with harming the nature and have planted many varieties of plants and trees. The infrastructure is also very good.

Nice enough staff and good views but it's worth bearing in mind this is at the bottom of the mountain and if you're not going through the rainy season then the river is not all that impressive.

Stunning location, friendly staff (limited English, which is fine) isolated and yes tranquil. The guided tour by Sujith was amazing.

It is a very lovely and serene place. Though a little far from Munnar city centre but it's totally worth the travel. The staff is very very helpful and cooperative. The breakfast was tasty. The cottage was quite clean but there's still scope for improvement. The river behind the cottage and that you can sit beside it takes the show away. I could stay all day long there. The locality is so silent that in the night you can here the soothing sound of the river flowing in the room as well. One of the best places. It is budget friendly as well. In fact, it's worth more that it costs. I would choose to stay here during my next visit as well.

Be careful to avoid the cottages from the top if not view.

Lacks hospitality. Nobody was present at the reception when we arrived and came around 10 mins after. Nobody picked our luggage unless asked to do so. Our driver helped us carry it to certain extent. There is a major problem of power cut almost all the time. Charging the phone became a nightmare. Reception does not answer in the morning until 7:30 am, that too if you go and ask them to open the door. Room is nice and the view is breathtaking. The only reason why you would want to stay here. Service wise my experience was pathetic. It can be a little cleaner though. Food menu is limited to what you get in an ordinary restaurant.

The place is awesome. Must recommend to everyone who loves beauty of nature.

Stayed here for 2 nights. Location is really awsome with river flowing at the back. Live in nature and enjoy the food that they provide. Munnar city is little far away so its difficult to go toandfro. Coffee plantation tour was also great which is complimentary by the hotel. Hotel can add more menu items and can provide some heating during cold times in rooms else is all good for a visit!

Very nice view. Reasonable price. A cooperative staff. Quiet and yet not very far away from munnar Town.

Small n professional hotel. Almost all rooms have grate view (until more hotels crop up) best for privacy. Mid dec is freezing cold, later temperature normalzes. Faced issues with hot water. Electricity is cut off frequently, but weather is cool so not a problem. There is generator n battery backup. Food is also good. Possibly avoid subzi in main course, especially chiken is stale. Starters are amazing. Soups are also tasty. Terrace restaurant gives nice ambience. Hotel staff is warm and plesant. They give very professional service.

Beautiful place to hangout in munnar… the rooms are well decorated and cleaned… good service and good food.

Ambiance IS NOT so good, nothing for entertainment and no safety features, FOOD quality is good and is too expensive.

Really nice place to relax. About 11 kilometres away from the munnar city. Nice noise or crowd hear. Rooms are located right on the river side so the view was awesome. We can even walk down to the river if we want to. Food here was average for the price, but the staff was courteous.

Lovely place with a lovely view.

The location is fabulous. There are six cottages right along the riverbed. The view from all the galleries is spectacular. Room service is also very prompt. The food options are limited, understandably though. The hotel is in remote village at a distance of 30 mins from Munnar. So you need to have your own vehicle to travel around. Overall is a good relaxing place.

You just go there. And one enjoy beautiful day there.

Beautiful Scenic Location, Amazing Rooms.

Nice to stay in nature area but only this place is far way from Munnar.

The views are nice and the blue tooth soundbar was cool but the rooms while new are cheaply built. The food is bad to average (they put a maraschino cherry on the scrambled eggs and even the Indian food wasn't great) and the restaurant has all the charm of an office cafeteria. This wouldn't be a big deal but the closest other restaurants are in town more than 30 minutes away. They overcharged us on the taxi transfer and then screwed us around again on the way back down. Generally everything was more hassle than it needed to be, especially at this price point (ie didn't have ice or soft drinks, the flying bugs invading or room, they couldn't explain to a tuk Tuk driver how to get there etc). We did like the free tea plantation tour.

Summary: Well maintained hotel, peaceful location, great staff. Bit over-priced, difficult to get to and steep climbs to the reception. Getting to the cottage is a little difficult though. There are many ways to get here but the marked routes are single lane roads which are also quite steep. The shortest but steeper way to get here is to take the Munnar bypass and drive around the Power house right by Rivulet. For a more easier route take the Aadit road off the Munnar bypass. And if you are arriving from Theni then go all the way till Munnar and descend down instead of taking the narrower and steeper road through Bison Valley. Note: Difficult to get to also means difficult to get out of. Exploring Munnar with this Hotel as the base may not be a great idea. The place offers what it's named after. A Riverside cottage. Tourists will have to descend quite a bit from Munnar town. There is a lovely stream beside the cottages that is easily accessible from the rooms. But there is little to do by the stream and is underwhelming after the first visit. The individual cottages are all propped on the hill sides so one has to climb down from the reception to get them. If you have trouble climbing then ask for rooms at the first level. The rooms have a lovely decor and are well kept. However, the cottage we stayed in would have wood boards rattle whenever we walked around.

This property is awesome and of high rated hospitality. The facilities inside the resort are world class. Highly recommend to anyone who is looking for a peaceful location in Munnar. Thumps up for the team Moselberg.
