The rooms are clean and well maintained, and the staff is well mannered. However the food is only average. The ccd at the restaurant is good with a pleasant staff. There's definitely worth a visit. Ginger is my opinion a good place to stay, but do look for meal options elsewhere.

Ginger Hotel is situated near to Technopark. So most of the guests are Techies. It has got good car parking, Rooms are neat, clean and well organised. Friendly staffs. Calm and quiet environment. Restaurant is nice and tasty food.

Calm place with good service. There is a wide choice of healthy food, the breakfast buffet being the best. The staff is friendly and helpful. It is a place you can choose if you prefer a calm place. Rooms on on side has the view to a playground nearby. It is also in a location with good mobility. It is in the very heart of kazhakkoottam junction. There is also a range of restaurants nearby to treat you.

Very poor food, washroom and pathetic gym. Hospitality is good, room service was done daily but heavily priced for the quality of food and stay. Near to technopark campus but a good choice for a stay more than a week.

Very very good and pleasant place to stay. Secured and maintenence is very good. Transport is a problem because hotel is located in highway, very far away from city.

Economic place to stay… Dental kit… Hair kit… Etc are paid not free… Breakfast is complementary… Good house keeping and room service.

Good food, great service. Staff is great there. Rooms are at par with a 5 star. But the whole look of the building gives off a depressing vibe.

If you are non vegetarian and from North India and stuck in Kerala for some reason, this is the place could be your life saver. Well, it was a life saver for me. They have excellent quality, non veg options and above all they cook WITHOUT COCONUT OIL.

It's a high standard modern hotels which provides hi — class accommodation in Kazhakkoottam. The hotel is situated in a appropriate position for easy access. Only walkable distance from Technopark, largest IT park in India. Rooms are neat and hygienic. Laundry service, restaurant and fitness center facilities also available.

Rooms are clean and air conditioned. Free Wi-Fi is available which has enough speed for browsing, not for downloading big files. If you want faster Wi-Fi, you have to pay additionally. Complementary breakfast is decent.

The hotel is pretty good located near to Techno Park Campus. The rooms are clean with cot, A/C, TV, table to work, fridge and kettle. Complimentary breakfast is decent. Good place to stay for a week who work in Techno Park.

Rooms and location was good. But they are over priced for the facilities available. It might suit only the business travellers to Techno park. For others, there are better alternates at a cheaper price in TVM. > Rooms are compact, clean. Cannot accomodate a third person. > No Tooth brush/paste. But soap/shampoo/conditioner are provided. > Only single towel even for double rooms. > Tea/Coffee complement available. A kettle and a water bottle is provided to make your own cup of tea/coffee. > A refrigerator is available. > Open Parking facility is available. > Complementary breakfast only for premium rooms.

Rooms are very good. Service is also pretty responsive. Complementary breakfast is also very good.

Pros — Located near to Techno park. Buffet breakfast is average and you can order additional variety of tiffins for free. Clean linen and clean bathroom. Good room service. Wifi speed is moderate. Cons — Rooms are standard size and felt like average hotel. Beds can’t be moved. If you have kids, you can’t club the beds. Window AC in some rooms is noisy. No Hot water — it all depends but most of the times water is lukewarm. Bathroom floor gets too slippery when wet. The worst part is glazed tiles on bathroom floor. Lights in the room can be made more luminous.

Very Kind staff and helpful managers. Even in stress situations. But the toilets are full of mold on the wall and namely in all rooms that I was. Please be cleaner.

Probably the only good hotel in Kazhakuttam area. This is a 3-star hotel, but looks quite an old building. Staff try to do a good job. The complementary buffet breakfast was not great. The dining space looks out of place, and a design afterthought. There is a CCD in the hotel lobby. Sufficient parking spaces available. Also has a real excuse of a gym.

The ginger hotel is a decent hotel, however it seems like it's very difficult to work with the staff on some issues. Having to ask multiple times for things or not being able to have your needs meet hinders this hotels ability to grow.

First the good points: Bathroom is very neat. Shower towels were extremely clean. Full marks for that. They have drinking water available for refill which is great and saves a ton of plastic bottles. Laundry service is superb. You can get your shirts pressed for Rs 10 which is great. Next: Points that need attention Sheet covering the blanket was kind of dirty and had stain marks in it. I requested replacement and even the new one was dirty. Complementary breakfast is o. K but needs improvement on the way food is presented. Coffee kettles were pretty old and needs replacement. Apart from a tread mill and couple of weights there is nothing in the gym. A pool would have been great for the summer.

Hotel is good for stay & doing meetings. Rooms are spacious, neat and clean. Staffs are Friendly. Free Wi-Fi for the guests.

Best place to stay. If you're traveller. Very good for roam around from this location. Kovalam, poovar and other beaches are minutes away from this. Highway is best suited. Buffet is costly but good to have because surrounding very few hotels are worth of good food. Staff is very kind and rooms are very nice. Comfortable stay.

Decent place for stay. Adequate space. Drawer. Fridge. Complimetery water. Good air conditionong. Prompt service desk. Gym with 3 equipment. No much options in the breakfast buffet. Clean toilet and towels. Blanket has some stain on it.

Worst restaurant inside the hotel. They started off well but quality of food and taste is very very poor. Never try food here. Not safe for consumption.

Good hotel overall. It's at walking distance from Technopark. Rooms were neat and clean. Food, especially breakfast was good. The staff is quite friendly and helpful. Especially, I would like to mention "Sujeesh" who was quite helpful.

Worst. Place. Ever! Don't make the mistake of booking this place. Doesn't matter if this is the closest hotel — Don't. Just Don't. All their prices — room prices, food prices, a la carte prices, room menu prices — are over and above average. Unbelievable prices. There is absolutely nothing nearby to eat. No decent hotels at all. The city is approximately 15 Kms from this place and getting transportation from the hotel to anywhere is a nightmare. The transportation that they arrange (taxis) are overpriced by 50%. Pathetic service. Half their staff don't even know how to explain the tariff (room tariff or food tariff). For the price you pay here for a 3 day stay — you can probably book a fully serviced apartment and stay. To give you an idea — you can get a fully furnished 2 BHK apartment for about 20K here. Don't go by the catchy — "We are in Technopark" blah blah… This is probably TATA's worst ever investment.

Pathetic room service and food quality. Would have given zero stars had that been am option. Every single thing that can go wrong has gone wrong here.

We stayed there with family on nov 2013. On check in itself the sorry figures of this hotel revealed. Telephone and TV was not in working condition. They some how manage to correct tv. But telephone what happened nobody knows. There were always wastes of food kept in front of rooms in second floor and that remained there for almost a day. The room boys are also not good. Overall an avoidable hotel to stay. I had stayed in ginger Chennai and based on the experience only I have booked it here. Never again will I visit this hotel.

Not the best experience. You would laugh out loud if you had a chance to see the GYM there. One room gym where only one treadmill and one elliptical cycle were present and called as sophisticated GYM of the Hotel. Guys in the Reception will be friendly. But this is a Budget Hotel which doesn't offer much in Breakfast, Lunch or Dinner.

The facilities, location, and service of the hotel are very good. The Wi-Fi actually works and is pretty fast — kudos to that :-).
