Love this place!
We are still so charmed about that place. Everything was perfect. Host is so nice and helpfull. Breakfasts were so delicious, Indian and European type.
Location was great (close to the main attractions of the Fort Kochi). Also it was very clean, and you can feel like home easily. If you are not into loud hotels, this one is perfect for you. It's very very quiet.
I hope we will go back one day and stay longer than two days.

Lovely place to stay. It is a very neat and clean homestay with the touch of traditional ambience. You will feel like your own house with an earthy feeling. Hosts are wonderful. They were very helpful and friendly. Breakfast is awsome. Very healthy and tasty as well.

What a place and what fantastic people I met here!. Loved this place to the core and honestly this is one of my best experiences traveling in south India. Mr Joseph is a super star. We were his guests during the most critical situation of Kerala floods and he didn't leave one stone unturned in taking care of us. On the other hand he was continuously coordinating with people to ensure that stranded people are rescued and essentials are delivered to them. Take a bow Mr Joseph. Coming to the place, it's a thoughtfully designed Kerala style house. It's spacious, airy and graceful. Everything about this place has an element of aesthetic values in it. The breakfast was delicious. The idli, idiappams, omelettes deserves a special mention. All items are home cooked. A lot of care is taken of the guests which I appreciate the most. I ll definitely come back to this place.

Extremely clean, beautiful and homely stay. Lovely vintage-looking decor and a living area with a wonderful swing, overlooking lush greenery. The hosts are hospitable and helpful throughout. We were also served a royal breakfast, which was prepared in an open kitchen (extremely unlikely, and a treat for the neat-freaks) Do not miss out on the coconut pancakes and make sure to play with the oh so chirpy parakeets! Amazing experience, in all. Great people.

Fort Kochi is a wonderful place to do your vacation. Very chilled out and beautiful town. The Fort bungalow (home stay) is located in the heart of fort Kochi. All the tourists attractions are near to this stay. Very affordable. Wonderful host. Breakfast is very tasty. Worth for your money. If you are planning to stay in Kochi, then choose this stay.

The location is what stood out most for us. It's in a small residential lane just off the main street and so away from noise. It's also walking distance from all the main attractions and areas like the Santa Cruz Cathedral, Princess and Burger Streets, and even great art stores and art cafés like Kashi. The house itself is very tastefully done in polished wood and antiques. There are seating areas on every floor to sit and just read or relax and chat. The breakfast was wholesome with coffee, toast, omelette and idlis on our first day. However, the second day saw idiyappam and kadala and sweet maida dosa stuffed with coconut and sugar as well! The owners and staff aren't overly friendly and give you your space but are very helpful with whatever you may want/need. Do visit The Art Store around the bend at the end of the road. It is the work studio and display of artist Shibu A. And you're bound to find something beautiful that spells Kerala.

Loved the property. Location is very good, very near to fort kochi. The owners are so sweet. Breakfast is jus too good. Must try this property Its a homestay so keep that in mind while booking but still the service is done with alot of heart and in the best of their abilities.

Located in a calm surrounding. But it was hard to locate as there was no clear name boards. Rooms were neat. You get a complementary breakfast if you opt.

We stayed during 7 to 10th August 2017. What a lovely experience… it was really a 'Home Away Home'. From welcome to hospitality during our stay, comfortable and well decorated rooms and lounge, delicious breakfast… what more one expects… hosts were courteous and humble… location is best… walking distance for beach, Chinese fishing nets, Jew's market and Synagogue, churches, etc. Autos are available at the doorstep for local visits… Really a memorable stay… Those who are looking for budget homely stay. It's the right place… Try you will not be disappointed… Suparna Mukherjee and Dr TK Mukherjee, New Delhi.

The rooms were awesome and the staff was so accommodating and warm. They made us feel like family. Would definitely come back if I visit cochin again. Definitely a steal! A/C in the rooms is a lifesaver. Room comes with the best breakfast I've ever had.

Warm and detaild hospitality. Comfortable room and hot shawer and great staffs are worth more than the price. Location is near by daily shop, local restaurants and cozy cafe are walking distance. Strongly recommend for single, business and family.

Wonderful place to stay while in Fort Kochi! Staff: super friendly, very welcoming, helpful, caring and attentive. Joseph & his family truly know how to show their hospitality. Cleanliness: the place is very well maintained and is always being cleaned. Clean bedsheets & towels provided, bottled water, soap, shampoo, toilet paper, kettle & cups (except in a budget room), etc. Location: very close & walkable to key attractions. We first had a bit of trouble finding it since the entrance gets a bit lost in the line of other homestays and hotels. The entrance is a wooden gate with a narrow passage to the building. Local rickshaws usually know better than taxi drivers. Transport: this place is close to the road where you can get lots of rickshaws who will give you a tour of main attractions (R. 50 / hour). If you are visiting for 2-3 days, it's worth taking! Price: very well worth it! You really pay for what you get. With toiletries & water stocked every day, cleanliness, location and breakfast included, you get a bang for your buck. Breakfast is yet another bonus of this place. It's served every day at 8:30. Home-made. Delicious. Fruit, tea, coffee, South Indian specialties as well as more familiar items for tourists (omlette, toast, jam). Very filling. Yummy. A great start to your day! It's truly a hidden gem of Fort Kochi! Highly recommended!

I stayed for 2nights. This place is VERY nice, it feels like home. Cozy, friendly and tidy. Love to stay here, owner's family were helpful and lovely.

The owners of this place are very courteous. We had difficulty in getting a cab coz there was a strike/bundh so they arranged for an auto to make sure we don't miss our train. The breakfast here is amazing. Rooms here are very clean and well maintained. The bed is cozy, we had a good night's sleep. This place is worth the money.
