An old Princess Street institution famed for its easygoing atmosphere as much as for its cakes and confections — the sweet puffs are a particular favourite — it retains all of this in its present location. Amidst the ongoing gentrification in Fort Cochin, it is one of the few places where people from all walks, locals and visitors, hang out and connect. And in the best tradition of coffee houses, there are newspapers available for those who're less inclined to conversation, but would like a quiet few minutes over coffee.

If you are looking a simple clean room, this place is excellent. Very clean, nice bed. Doesn't have any other facilities but was exactly what I needed.

It is a reasonable priced hotel, located in the main street (Princess street). Because of the good location, I saved time to find good restaurant, cafe, bakery and pub. Room quality was also good. Bathroom looked very new and clean.

Fabulous bakery!. The breads are simply out of this world, straight out of the oven, and the puffs incredibly delicious… Do not leave Fort Cochin without dropping by….

Nice rooms and bakery. Even when we return to the room at late night, owner waits for us to open the gate. Nice management and behaviours of staff. Got meals even after 3pm evening. Overall nice hospitality for families to stay.

Having located at the right place, they cheats their customers very well. Knowing the fact that fort Kochi is the place where foreigners roam a lot, this restaraunt is tailor made for them to get fooled by their over menu prices and worst service. The owner barely cares customers comfort and never displays menu. The fresh choice restaraunt which is exactly opposite to it is the worth money food and service.

We stopped by at this bakery to have juice. When asked for menu, there was no response. So we asked if watermelon juice was available and ordered for it. To our surprise one medium glass of normal watermelon juice was priced 90rs. When asked for why such high rates in not so great ambience and service bakery, an old man at the billing counter replied rudely as to why did we come to the bekery in the first place. Old man clearly doesn't know to value the customers. There are lot better places to visit than this bakery in fort Kochi area.

This review is for the restaurant on the ground floor of Elite Hotel. Do yourself a favor and eat here. The prices are great (see my pictures of the menu), the food is amazing (we tried 6 dishes over the course of one week, we always get thieir delicious porotas to go with them), and the masala tea is lovely.

The restaurant here is quaint and warm. The owner is very welcoming and the place is popular. I had a drink, but my friend had lunch here. He is regular whenever he stops by in fort Kochi.

I stay in fort kochi. Few months back I went with my friends to have tea and snacks here. In the end we ordered a mountain dew bottle priced ₹35 MRP. The owner priced it ₹45 in the bill. When asked why it was charger so the owner replied " you sit and drink u pay 45 or else 35 ". Later we found he's been charging so to foreigners as well. The owner is a big time cheat!

The owner takes pride in his bakery and serves excellent brown bread, soft buns and good strong tea. The fish thali meals are reasonably priced at Rs 140 with really good local vegetables and side orders. Passion fruit squash is available for Rs 200 a bottle. Nice puffs to go with tea.

Its a nice ambience place to stay and have any food.

Our initial room was plagued with mosquitoes, but after upgrading to an a/c room, things got a lot better. Staff are friendly and helpful.
