We had a great time at SpiceTree. The staff was very friendly and the food is amazing. Especially the breakfast and the juice options. The room was excellent with an amazing view. Also enjoy the guided tour, tea tasting and swimming pool on the cliff. It was a very relaxing experience!

Spice Tree is a hotel that is located about half an hour away from the Munnar city area. Although it is a beautiful location overlooking the valley it is rather secluded. Located in the Cardamom hills you will find spice gardens around here but no tea plantations. To see those you will have to drive to Munnar. The hotel has a nice restaurant, a coffee shop, a swimmimg pool and large comfortable rooms. The property is spread over different levels. Taking the steps and walking down to the lower level you will reach the spa with a yoga room where morning classes are held. There is also a lounge where one can relax, enjoy the valley view and have a drink sitting on the comfortable reclining chairs. Since the hotel is located so far away from the city it is not possible to more than one trip out and so there is every chance that you will be having your dinner there. Luckily the food served in the restaurant is pretty good. The service is good and the staff courteous.

This property offers stunning views across the Bison Valley. The entire property is need of modernisation but everything is adequate and fully functional and clean. The restaurant offers excellent Indian food and great service. We stayed 2 nights, overall I would recommend the resort we had a comfortable stay, with good food and excellent service. Worth a stop in Munnar Town a bustling town with many shops and market.

I don't know how to define spice tree munnar. Incredible if you can afford just there for few days.

We had our honeymoon at this resort and it was honestly one of the best experiences we've ever had in our lives. The staff were exceptional and keen to pamper us with their timely and excellent service. The food at the restaurant was delicious and we felt welcome at all times during our stay. We stayed at the Honeymoon Spa Suite which has a beautiful view of the magnificent Bison Valley and includes a copper tub and Jacuzzi. The romantic ambience and laid-back atmosphere at the resort made for a very memorable honeymoon experience! Well done, team :)

Excellent Resort at a Nestled location. Approach roads are very steep and narrow. Pricey. Exceptionally courteous staff and Star Facilities. Loved my Experience. Don't Miss the Heated Infinity Pool overlooking the Munnar Valley.

Fantastic resort. Very secluded. I recommend for a leasurely stay and indulge in luxury. Don't miss their tracking on hills. Food is fantastic. Service is top notch. Pool is not satisfactory, hygiene wise as well as not temperature control.

Spice Tree Munnar. In one line if u r in munnar u have to stay atleast one day here. A life time experience. Every thing is superb, mind blowing. Keep it up spice tree munnar.

We stayed 4 nights at spicetree on last September, we booked honeymoon spa suite room. Room is well maintained and the interior is awesome, also the view from the room is fantastic. Food is delicious and much option to choose. Staff's are really cool and friendly.

Great hotel with many activities. Too bad we only stayed for 2 nights and could not join much. Rooms are very well designed with great views.

This place is very calm n full of natural beauty n give lots of personal space so that you can njy it at full.

One of my friend had been there recently. As per he said, they should improve the heating system in pool villa. It is operated by solar heat only and there is not sufficient sunshine to heat a water. And atmosphere is very cold in may too. So couldn't enjoy a private pool facility in his room. It's meaning less.  : (

Me and my family traveled all through kerala along the various destinations like Cochin, Calicut, Kovalam, Alleppey, etc. Though all the places were equally beautiful and nice, our best place of stay was definitely in Munnar, at Spicetree. There was ample enough space for the whole family of five, in the suites. Everyone had a wonderful time. The food and hospitality given is definitely top notch.

When I planned my trip to Munnar, all I wanted was a relaxing getaway from the city life. The stay at Spicetree gave me exactly that, and even more. I had the perfect days of relaxation, fresh air, comfy stay, and good food — also, I learned a lot about ecology and the need for eco-responsible growth etc. I would recommend this place too each and every one of friends.

I visited Spicetree with my friend, during the rainy season. While I knew that that time of the year was not ideal 'season' for tourists who visit Munnar, but we decided to give it a try. It was splendid! It was a different experience altogether. The comfortable stay at Spicetree along with the kind of activities there and the awesome food made our experience of a rain-filled Munnar an unforgettable one.

I have always been a nature enthusiast. When one of my colleagues mentioned this place called Spicetree in Munnar and told me about the good works they do about nature conservation while providing a good place to stay, I decided to make a visit. I was really impressed by the work done. I learned a lesson or two from them, got to discuss my ideas and concerns by them, and had a really good stay, being closest to nature.

We came to know about Spicetree from one of our friends who had visited the place a while ago. We had been planning to make a trip to various parts of Kerala for a while now and decided to stay at Spicetree when we visited Munnar. It was an amazing experience. The locale was splendid and serene. The food and stay was great. But the greatest plus point of Spicetree is the excellent staff who will give you great personal care. Will go back for sure.

Fantastic place with great views of Bison valley. Located off Munnar. Once you reach the place you will love the way it's built (large nice rooms with the valley view) and amazing hospitality. People at SpiceTree make your vacation worth it and they go out of their way to assist you. The guide for the trek at SpiceTree is awesome and patient as well! :) Well worth the stay.
