A completely unique experience under 500 meters away from the largest water fall in Kerala. We visited mid July, at the peak of excess rain and highest level of water flow. It was scary first day but it's fun. Food is good, rooms are excellent, pool is good enough for kids. View to the river and forest is breathtaking. Ayurveda massage was very good. They arranged different vehicles for us to the waterfalls and Airport drop. Highly recommend this place to families.

Very calm and fully greenish everywhere… They have fresh water swimming pool… But in a medium square feet. Hospitality was good… About the lunch. It was average. Anyway a cozy place for honeymoon couples.

Quaint place located at the foot of the amazing Athirapally falls : excellent location at the base of the serene river. Rooms are well designed and spacious, with separate living area and bedroom. Nice place for family or group outings. Good landscaping and well maintained swing pool. The place has direct access to the river.

Great resort to stay with scenic beauty, good quality food and excellent hospitality. The room was very comfortable with great view of mountains and lakes. One should never miss the visit to Casa Rio. As far as amenities are concerned, it's a wonderfully designed property, By no means it's worth the price…

Very bad. A wonderful area destroyed. No river facing rooms, what we see from our rooms balcony is the other room's wall. Our intercom wasn't working and they deliberately were saying lies. Very small rooms, even a Rs. 3000 worth room would be bigger. Toilet doesn't even have space to stand in plus they don't have exhausts. The breakfast was an utter failure. Overall, they didn't have anything to pay more than 2k or max 2.5k. A serene property destroyed is what I would describe it as.

“Relaxing resort with River & Water falls” Fabulous stay, Very friendly staff. They provided a very warm welcome when we arrived. The resort by itself is breathtaking with its own natural beauty and pool. One of the best resorts I have ever been too. An absolute 5 star experience. Stayed at the hotel with another family for two nights. River view room has fantastic views of the Chalakudi River and Athirappilly water falls. The resort staff very nice and was ready to help you in every way possible. I would definitely recommend this place the food glorious Indian and varieties from the world. We enjoyed every bit of it. I will still go back for the beauty of the resort and location.

Beyond amazing. Casa rio, it's so close to nature, beside the water flow from the fall. The mountain is so close, you feel like you are living there. Swimming pool is beside the mountain. So many birds to watch. Service is too good. They'll modify their usual routine service for you. Utmost care taken by each and every staff. Looking forward to another trip here.
