It's a great and budget hotel. They provide AC rooms at budget price, rooms are cozy and very good, room service is great, they'll provide you breakfast, lunch, dinner, ayurvedic massage, etc. By charge if you ask the hotel manager is very friendly and speaks Hindi and little bit of Gujarati too. Outside the hotel there is local bus stop, if want to see alappuzha really then take bus from there. The main Beach is just about 5 minutes walk from the hotel. Great destination. Loved it!

Are small and comfortable for (2-3) people per room to the beach special parking area for the hotel an over all it is OK to stay since its nearby the beach.

Minimum budget hotel. Limited food options. Cleanliness is mediocre, can be improved. Best part is the location, very close to the railway station.

Worst experience… it has no restaurant attached to it… They took 2 hours to confirm whether they are going to get the food or not… we starved for 2 hours.

I loved everything about this place. Neat and Clean AC rooms. This place is also very near to the amazing Alapuza beach and the bus station for Trivandaram.

Location is good, close to the sea (though see is not visible from the hotel). No restaurant in the hotel. Rooms are good and spacious.

Horrible rooms and horrible service. Rooms with AC also had mosquitoes. Rooms were small — about 110 sqft. Don't go by the front desk appearance. Rooms are far worse than what I've seen before. No hot water — literally no hot water. Only good thing was that the rooms were available a day before stay. I understand why they were empty now. Horrible.

I would rather give 0 stars. Tacky place with tiny rooms. Stinky smell comes complimentary though. Staff there aren't helpful with 0 Hospitality and are in no intension to help customers. Avoid this place.

Just okay rooms for family stay. My observations below Cons: 1. You are welcomed by lot of mosquitoes in the room, don't forget to carry Odomos with you. 2. Not enough ventilation 3. Water glasses provided in the room were stinking. 4. No food options. 5. Table in the room was broken. 6. Poor hygeine in rooms and kitchen was very bad. Pros: Near to station and beach.

A very good place for accommodation… The best part, it is near to the railway station as well as the beach… However rooms could be better.

Nobody for room service. Manager controllong everything alone and he is not listening our problems. Very bad smell in rooms. Food bringing from outside is also very bad and not hygeinic. Good place to be in and Mr. Raju the receptionist guy welcomes you so we'll and he has a good knowledge of all the places.

This is a small hotel with stinking rooms. But cleartrip has charged us 3 start hotel charges. I suggest to avoid this hotel in Allepey.

I just stayed three nights in the hotel and they have provided us a dinner at night with chicken fry chicken curry and normal rice. And it was nice and the staff also alert to you. And we just asked for a rented bikes to receptionist and he gave so many members number and he provided two beautiful vespas. According to me staff was cooperative and morning you will get a hot water if you need any room service they will clean immediately it is near to the railway station just five minutes walk and Alleppey Beach is also near in front of the residency there is a green tea shop it was awesome you will get whatever you want and take a step go straight you'll get a Beachway restaurant. In beachway restaurant u will get so many type of food items Fish Biryani Chicken biryani. And we have enjoyed a lot in that residency it is the best residency and the cheap and best residency you can go without any reviews.

Easy accessible, Near to Alleppey beach and Railway station. Flexible timing.

Very bad service. There is no sea side view. When asked for COFFEE THEY ASKED US TO WAIT AN HOUR MORE (coffee available only from 07:00 am). Even hot water was not provided (for bathing) on time. There are no seperate geysers so u cant bathe at the time u want.

Worst experience. Room service was bad even water was not provided. No latch for bathroom.

A blissful Experience I stayed at the Hotel with my Family (Wife and 2 kids) to celebrate our Wedding anniversary. The location was excellent. I got a chance to interact with most of the staff as well as the owner of the place and all of them were very pleasant and accomodating. I would recommend this place to anyone who would like to spend a relaxing time away from the hustle and bustle of the city.

Property is well located. You are welcomed warmly into the hotel. The front desk was very efficient. Very comfortable bed and room. Room service was efficient. It offers value for money. Would certainly recommend this property.

Friendliest hosts in all of India So, so lovely and generous. Very helpful, went above and beyond for us helping plan our stay and take is places. We felt very welcomed. Extremely cheap too! Rooms were nice and clean, our belongings were safe while we were gone for a few days. Highly recommend.

A hotel that works very hard to maintain its well deserved high rating” Hotel Seaside Residency was not our first choice — we were looking for a more modern, design boutique hotel. But several hotels were full, and others had a 2-night minimum stay requirement — and we were only planning to spend one night. We picked Hotel Seaside Residency largely on the basis of its high rating — always a bit of a gamble, as tastes can and do differ. But Hotel Seaside Residency turned out to be a fantastic choice and one we will definitely stay at again. The service in particular stands out: from the moment you enter the hotel, you're made to feel welcome by a team of friendly and attentive staff who all act and feel as though they're the owners. The hotel is homely, spacious and clean (although on our 1st floor there was a whiff of stuffiness in the air when we arrived — it cleared later when the windows were open), and it's great to be able to use one of the garages located nearby. They offered — without us having to ask — to let us keep the garage after check-out so we could explore the town some more. My only gripe: the internet connection has limited bandwith. The hotel should be able to get a more powerful internet connection, and thus usher this lovely hotel into the internet age. Highly recommended.

As wonderful as ever, This was my second visit to this wonderful hotel. It never fails to disappoint. It's location and quality of service are second to none but above all it has a special magic that must be experienced to be believed. I will be back.

What a gem Everything was perfect from the word go. Charming and helpful welcome from the reception. Room was very comfortable and attractive. Good bathroom with best shower I have ever had in a hotel. Excellent breakfast. Helpful advice from receptionist and our hosts on travel arrangements and good eating place nearby. If I am in Alleppey again I should not consider staying anywhere else.

This is how to run a small hotel. It seems almost superfluous to repeat the comments made in may other reviews about the welcoming atmosphere, pleasant surroundings and excellent service offered at Seaside residency. The fact that the proprietors of this hotel work very hard to achieve a remarkable level of consistency. The hotel is a very attractively refurbished traditional building on a lovely broad, quiet near the beach. The rooms we booked were, in truth, pleasant, fairly small, fairly averagely equipped hotel rooms, one double to the rear of the hotel and a single to the front. The hotel clearly has rooms of varying size/decorative quality, and you can pay more than we did for larger rooms with better views. There is no bar, but tea and coffee are available, and there is a computer for guests use which was very useful in managing our restaurant reservations. What makes this hotel memorable is the attitude and hands-on management of the owners who are clearly very committed to their business as hoteliers, and rightly proud of the service they offer. They've obviously worked really hard to extend and develop their hotel — although you'd never know from their friendly approach that they've been doing it this long. Preferences at breakfast were remembered, and assistance was offered, but not in a way that was intrusive.
