Review of Baywatch Beach Resort 2*

Pathetic! Don't go by the management published photographs on different online booking sites & Google. I'll tell u the truth: 1. It's not a resort, it's a 4 rooms house which do not have any facility like of a resort. No restaurant, no swimming pool, no room service, no Porter, no front desk. Etc. 2. It is managed by the owner of the house and a lady housekeepar who also cooks food for morning breakfast. 3. Security is totally "zero". They won't even ask for any ID proof of guests, no check-in & check-out formalities which from my point of view is a threat to guests staying there and to the society. Nation as well. 4. No maintenance. Garden, the verandah, the rooms, the parking area, entrance, walkway. All are in poor condition. I guess, not even cleaned once in a week! 5. There is no proper lighting in the rooms, lots of mosquitoes are there, walls are almost dirty, no whitewash done for months or years, linen and blanket provided are too old. 6. No buffet breakfast! The owner Mr. Mathews will ask you to choose between traditional South Indian (choose one idli or vada with sambhar & continental breakfast, in which they only serve omelette, bread jam-butter, milk, tea, corn flakes. 7. On breakfast table only 6-7 people can accommodate at a time so if all 4 rooms are occupied thn either u wait or they would serve u breakfast in verandah. Also, it gets ready by 8:30-45 AM only so if u wish to leave early thn better to plan for breakfast outside. 8. Limited channels on cable TV and if u request more any particular channel thn the owner Mr. Mathews won't even refuse u politely… U can always expect a blunt n rude reply. 9. In one of the pamphlet placed in room, it is written that beware of middlemen and contact Mr. Mathews. But let me tell you. He himself arrange things on Commission basis though he won't tell u thia 10. We asked him for nearby good massage centres so he recommended one & asked if we want to book an appointment thn he can do it for us. I thought that how caring and helpful person he is but somehow we booked it on our own through our driver but when we was leaving he told us that if u r going for massage thn told them that u r from Baywatch. Of which I don't paid any heed. But when we reached massage centre, there was a fight between our driver and Mr. Mathews for the Commission of some Rs. 300. We was totally shocked to see this. 11. Forget the day time. They don't even have a guard even on the main gate at night. It remains flat open and any outsider can reach your room at will and comfort. 12. No one even cares for your stay. They won't even ask u "Are you comfortable? " No one comes to see you off. 13. For hot water you need to call Mr. Mathews to switch on the geyser. 14. Nothing nearby activity except beach. Worst location in absence of room service because in any case you need to travel some kilometers for lunch, snacks or dinner. To conclude. Pls avoid this place because you always can have much better options in same price. Though they are not charging less. Almost Rs. 2000 for one night.
