Awesome home and friendly people the owners.

If visiting with family, do not stay here! Very poor condition of rooms. No privacy. No facility and rude people managing the property. We were show a different property just opposite this one, and was given sub standard rooms here. Courtesy of MMT. NO complaint we're registered nor did they blacklist the owner and property.

Home stay was overall good. But need to maintain clean. Lot of beach sands were there when we entered which should have been cleaned. Owner arranged for boating trip which was very reasonable and good.

Owner was very friendly best place to stay Room was neat and clean they provided good night fir misquitoes, no mosquitoes Go for a shikara ride opp to toom 500 for 1 hour.

Nice and cheap room. Near to the central bus station and to the canals for the backwaters.

Good sized rooms. Clean. Wi-Fi turned off every night at around 10:30pm, which was frustrating at times. Problems with water supply and hot water whilst we were there, but the very helpful host seems to be getting technicians in to fix this problem. Lovely host, very helpful with local information. Rooftop seating area is a great place to relax… and they don't mind you doing some washing, which is refreshing when you are travelling.

Raju is very decent and kind. Clean rooms;; hot shower, close to bus stand, we stayed in the top room with a huge balcony ;) enjoy.

Stayed for a day in December end! The house is really comfortable and decently affordable, the owners help you out with houseboat guides and other local concerns!

Stay was in a good centre with access to house boats, backwaters, restaurants, 1 massage centre. You can get autos within 50mtrs. Best location. Host was a nice person and suggested village tour and boat rides. However room stinks. We stayed for about 4 days. There was no room service. Bed sheets and blankets were changed just once after asking. No laundry service. He couldn't arrange us scooters even once in 4 days. Toiletries were not provided. Bedsheets and towels were clean but were really tiny and are of bad quality. Also Wi-Fi is extremely slow and is not reliable. Common area is clean and peaceful.

We had booked a room for four. Room is good, spacious. Bathroom too is good, but 2 — 3 things are missing. No hot running water inside the bathroom, second… They didn't provide proper sheet for being, to take in place of blankets. The home stay lacks the "Homely" Feeling. Mr Raju is a gentleman, professional person, but has to improve on the human touch thing.

We stayed in Alapatt Homestay for two nights in two different rooms and location is perfect (close to the bus station and ferry station). Raju is extremely solicitous, can recommend places to eat and help with tours (competitive prices, absolutely no insistence). You can get a laundry service. The whole family was very friendly all the time. Both rooms were nice and clean, Wi-Fi working fine and hot water available. Cheaper room had a small leak in the bathroom (doesn't affect the shower) and fan could only work at either highest or lowest speed, but that's nothing comparing to all advantages. Highly reccomended, we would wish all homestays were like this.

Hi guys, real experience, the photos of Alapatt homestayfirst photo which is so beautiful, apart from the house, the rooms stink, you get only one room and bathroom stinks, no ventilation in the toilets,, water stinks, you cant take a shower, and dampness in the room… they dont change the bedsheets, and there is no kitchen and the restaurant — no service just fr the tables and the chairs,. And one good thing is Wi-Fi is free… but please people check everything and plz dont book online, plz check them directly and then book.
