There are many better hotel available. Bathroom are too small. A/c are automatic so you can't change speed and temp. Room service is good.

Service is really bad never experienced a 3 start hotel to be so bad. Well these happened in just 12hrs of check in. I had to ask the receptionist thrice is this really a 3 star hotel because of the countless issues I had to face in a night. A/c doesn't work room started becoming hot box, don't even remember how many times I had to call the maintenance guys in a night more than me they kept occupied the room in repairing the issues, washroom exhaust fan won't work and after looking into the issue I got answer telling can't repair now will repair in morning, beds were so dirty dint feel like sleeping on that I could see stains n hair all over the bed, finally dinner, dinner closing time was 10.30 on the display but they normally close by 10.15 had to buy food from next building and at middle of the night had to change the room for some more issues and again in morning the same problem continued in the new room allocated to me no hot water again maintenance guys had to be called, it to 20mins to fix the issue again. How can a 3 star hotel be so irresponsible and wrong to the customers and why I had to pay so much for a 3 star hotel. All I wanted is good sleep because had to drive 300 more Kms next day. I've used fab hotels before but never expect this kind of service and ignorant hotel staff n receptionists in this hotel specially.

Very old. Everything looks used, bedsheets too. Some stains on bed cover, towels just grey color, not even near to white. Rooms are much smaller than on picture. Breakfast is average, also they serving it later than they should. Can not get even cold milk. In washroom was no cold water to take shower. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

I was here for less than a day as I was attending an event in Mysore. The rooms are very convenient and are sure to provide a goodnights sleep. They are very conveniently located only 10-15 minutes away from the railway station. Their bathrooms could be a done a little better but they do have all basic amenities. The restaurant opens only after 7 PM which is a tad bit inconvenient.

Stayed here for a night — it’s a budget hotel, so don’t expect much. This hotel is actually called ‘The Dawn Hotel’ and Fab Hotels has some agreement (white label kind) to market this property. The room I checked into smelled of cigarette and asked them to change, which they promptly did. They have Tandooriwala restaurant downstairs (see my other review for this). Overall, if you want a decent no frills hotel to stay, you could go with Fab/ Dawn hotel.

Very good hotel, Located just 4kms from Mysore palace. (perfect location), the hotel is clean and provides u great hospitality. The hotel manager and staff members are very helpful and will guide u throughout your stay. The rooms are clean and has good kettle for tea & coffee and hotel provides u almost every facilities from good rooms to good staff. The rooftop place for breakfast is good but the breakfast service is not good, one has to wait for getting things. It really needs to be taken care. Overall good.

Not bad. Bedroom and cupboard good. Big mirror but with no light above it to get a good view. Nice big window. Too reluctant in giving tea kits. Breakfast is so so. No north Indian dish in breakfast.

The fab hotel app is faulty. I booked for two and at hotel they told I booked for one. Then had to call helpline and they started adding extra charges! New technique… Hotel rooms are good. Nice view. Nice people at reception. Room is clean and beds comfortable. There are no paid channels on TV! What a Shane. Washroom is ordinary. Nothing much to mention. Food at their restaurant, tandoori wala is good, quite pricey though. But ambiance is nice. Overall good experience. I will give it a 4.5/5.

It's a budget hotel. Great food. Breakfast was yummy with good spread. Egg ommlete is s must try. Connectivity is also good. Parking space available. Toilets could be better but we're clean enough. So no complaints.

I really liked the place and have been there twice. But I've sworn yo myself that I would never visit this place again. The staff is Rude, they have no clue about hospitality. The people are very judging. It is clear that the hotel is run by a money minded people. But still, the staff should have some courtesy, and not be a bunch of scumbags.

Bathroom has to be better and a/c control should be available in the room because each person has a different requirements of cooling. Other wise the rooms are clean and reasonably spacious.

Good hotel to stay. Keep only one thing in mind that in basic room, bathroom are very very small. For family, try to book their suite which is room no. 301.

Overall it was an average experience except the fact of a very rude receptionist who didn't know how to talk to elders in a polite and decent manner. That man was shouting on my father for a misunderstanding and went on in a very indecent tone. Will have to see if want to ckne to this hotel next time or not.

Firstly, it is a budget hotel and so one should expect accordingly. Staffs at the reception are NOT courteous at all. I had to face an issue that room was booked 1 month in advance and they denied the room upon arrival. They cancelled it at the last moment and allotted it to someone else who paid more. It is heights of unethical response. Had a word of the times at this place.

Good food is served but service was too late and people never respond quickly.

Nice budget hotel. Slightly out side the city towards Bengaluru. Nevertheless easily accessible. Good restaurant. Complimentary breakfast is provided based on the selection. Good Varieties of snacks served and it was sumptuous. Clean rooms. The staff are good and responsive. There are shops close to the hotel for petty things. Value for money and I Liked it.

Not upto what have been claimed… Restaurant is still under renovation. Buffet breakfast is better not to be mentioned. There were not much choice to select to from. Bathroom is very congested. I had unfortunate episodes of getting cigarette smoke coming inside through the exhaust fan…

The location is good, however there a few minute details that the hotel needs to fix. Such as the check in process, the reception area (stools for guests? Seriously). Food at night in night Cafe. Ability to control ac temp etc.

Stay was decent. Just don't try the food… The grocery across the street has more options for food made with love.

I would never ever recommend anyone to opt for this hotel. I stayed there from 23-26 Nov 2017 and had worst experience, let me share few: 1. A/C problem: they oftenly switch off the a/c. Early morning I found AC is not working, I called and got started, again in few hours around 7:30 it got switched off and then got started after my call. From 9 am till 7 pm I was not at hotel and when came back again I'd to call them to switch it on. Later in the night (next day) at 1 am it was again switched off, which my wife noticed and when I woke up at 6am she told me the incident, btw the whole night it was switched off and it was started after I soughted, really ridiculous, how can they be so senseless and can ignore the problem after reporting the incident again n again. 2. Travel desk: guys donot trust and book ur plan with this traveller. I was harassed on the trip and was planning to file a police complaint but unfortunately and because of the indian judicial system I thought better to stay out of it.

I'm writing this review while staying at the hotel. The location is good. The reason they offer the discount to lure the visitors makes sense as the quality of your stay is very sub standard. The rooms are ok and nothing extra ordinary. They say its a new hotel but surely the maintenance makes it look like a few years old. Bathrooms are very poorly designed, no shower separates and it gets the whole bathroom slippery. They say 24 hrs hot water, big lie. They should say very light luke warm water. I will make sure I will not return nor allow anyone I Know choose this hotel in the future.

Services provided r very good. Cost effective. 'll love to stay here for second time.

It was an absolute pleasure. Such a nice hotel. Staff is cordial and the rooms are FAB! all the things are very well arranged in the hotel. For dining you have options to chose from the adjacent caravan or pearl hotels. It is bit far from the city around 3-4 kms. But I think it is good. You are saved from the halla gulla of daily commuters which is a lot near the city bus stand area. You won't regret even a bit staying in this hotel. Go have a FAB experience.

Poor Services… No coordination between central reservation and front office teams. They made me to wait at reception for more than 1 hour along with my family (senior citizen parents) after travelling long distance, with lack of understanding between reservation team and front desk team. False commitments from reservation team, adamant behavior from front desk team, no proper understanding on hotel policies, neither call back arranged nor any executive ready to address the issue. At night 9:00 PM they cancelled the reservation and asked us to find other hotel. Don't believe on the words of reservation team and front desk feels that they are providing services for free of cost, over all very disappointing experience with the support teams.

No doubt the rooms are spacious and clean. The room allotted to me was worst. Not much TV channel. Only a select few. When I called the reception and complained he spoke to me very rudely. Their Dish TV doesn't telecast all the channels and he can't help it
No hot water facility for taking bath. They don't respond immediately. The worst complimentary breakfast I ever had in my life. Ladies are taken for granted. Easy going I feel.

Nice place for given price. Restaurant available downstairs is very reasonable. Service is ok.

Very bad maintenance and miserable service. Much better hotels to stay in for similar price. Also location is very bad.

It lacks some cleanliness as you can see in the photos. The service is very good though. Hope they improve in my next time.

Good clean & house keeping, very good food, everythings ok.

Stayed in the hotel on 13-Jun-2017 and would not recommend to anyone. The reasons are 1) the hotel is not near to any of Mysore's tourist attraction 2) the towels and bed sheets seems to be purchased from some other hotel, towel/bedsheets are aged out, no good hotel should use these anymore 3) Last but not least, fun start when you are checking out, they will take 30 minutes to finish check out process and bring their towels or pillow covers stating you have put stains on it… and it was not just with us… every guest is irritated to core and asked to pay additional money for same…

Good Hotel to stay at. Good amenities in the room at good prices. Restaurant Amma's Kitchen is decent and reasonable. According to me, the best hotel in Mysore for business purpose.

I didn't had a pleasant experience. Few things went well. 1) good price for room ~ 1600 per night. 2) good staff 3) strong Wi-Fi Thinks went wrong 1) no hot water 2) complementary breakfast is just a waste if you are paying full amount for rooms around 3000+ 3) bathroom has a nasty smell. 4) ac without temperature control. 5) worst bath towel ever received from a hotel. Almost yellow in color. Had to use my own. In short just stay for a night stay if you get Good offer.

Decent hotel with a attached restaurant. Staff are helpful and warm. Rooms are very well furnished. The only downside is a single lift and small sized washrooms.

Experience was good and staff service was good even food was good, little disappointed as we requested for Wi-Fi password (included in their facilities) and they didnt reply back.

Well maintained rooms and good breakfast as well! Good staffs, But the I requested a tea, that was the worst tea I had in my life time, N that didn't worth what I paid for it! Over all experience was good except this!

Hated this place. Rooms were dusty, poor service and attitude. Restaurant food is horrible.

Simple stay by the night hotel, liked the way they handled our luggage and check-in. The room service can be improved, currently it is outsourced to the restaurant which runs in the ground floor, breakfast can be improved.

Nice… But I'm not satisfied.

The room was not cleaned properly… this hotel is not worth of so much money… the amma's kitchen resto was not in good shape… I will not recommend this hotel to anyone… the bathroom was dirty… there was a very little choice in complementary breakfast in the morning… thank god that we stayed there only for 1 night.

The place is terrible for Rs. 3k a night. There were strands if hair every where, that were left there by the previous residents. The food was terrible. Don't eat at Amma's kitchen. The food was not even passable and service is terrible. Ambience is nice enough though. The lift is terrible. The corridor has motion censor lights. This is great, but the corridors go totally dark when you don't move for a second. Great news for kidnappers.

Worst hotel experience ever. Bad service, worst of all is their air conditioner, we never get a chance to adjust the temperature.

Hats off! For the service and courtesy provided by The Dawn Staff. You really made my stay worth to remember. I would always recommend if in mysore be in The Dawn Hotel.

Totally awesome. Pretty good maintenance in both inner and outer side of the rooms. Quick service and peaceful area in Mysore. Very near to Tourist Spots and Shopping Area. Really nice and enjoyed.

Worst experience at this hotel. Specially the check out process and the cab service. They give breakfast as complementary but its taste was so worst. Even though check out time is 12 noon, they were forcing us to checkout at 10.30 by giving some fake calculations. We had checked in 2 days back at 5pm (5hrs late. Check in time was 12). But they were telling we checked in before 12 noon. Still so many complaints. The review will end up in pages. Just dont recommend this to anyone.

We had a pathetic experience in this hotel and will not recommended this to others for their stay. The attitude of the hotel staff is not friendly — specially the lady at front desk. We were very disappointed with the room service and check out process and made it very clear to the receptionist. But instead of apologising, she completely ignored us and refused to respond. We left the hotel furious and hungry and nobody gave a damp at the hotel. Absolute rubbish.
