The best hotel I've been in India. What makes this place amazing is of course the beauty of the property which is really well maintained, the rooms that are huge and very luxurious, but what impressed me where the people, a wonderful staff perfectly synchronized from the cleaners to the director. I will never forget their kindness especially about Santosh, a great employee! I'll come back to India just for a vacation at Vijayshree Resort & Heritage. With love from Italy.

Probably one of the best resorts in this area. It is really beautiful and well maintained. Every cottage have beautiful hand art painting and resort as big common pool which is very well kept. The cottages are spacious with good interiors. The property is huge and is really well planned and designed. All in all, I just loved the experience here! Vijayshree I would be back soon…

Vijayshree resort is very good and well maintained with new village concept resort. We were there for 2 days for wedding ceremony. Really enjoyed entire event and place is also very good The village concept felt new to me. Individual Rest house for 4 people as cement hurt with AC and all facilities. Big lawns and specious halls for all functions.

Superb superb superb… so much fun having here… best food, very clean and spacious room, swimming pool is wonderful, activities are excellent, Food is very yummy and the restaurant is beautiful. Best of all… thanks.

Resort service is good. Hotel rooms are clean and tidy and with beautiful garden-view. I completely enjoyed my stay here. I also loved the breakfast buffet provided by the Hotel and the restaurants at the hotel provide awesome food. Definitely worth the stay!

Beautiful resort for a long week-end break, Pick-up at vidyanagar airport and an hour drive. Excellent welcome at the resort. Very good resort with excellent service and staff always ready to help. Very food in the multiple choice of restaurants. Relatively good choices of activities, Rooms are comfortable, It is set in 19 acres of beautiful grounds which are excellently maintained.

Excellent in every way! One of the best hotel found in Hampi. With a private, lovely garden & excellent cottages it is worth the cost. The staff are very friendly & courteous. The swimming pool & health club are outstanding. The food is great and a huge spread — south. You will definitely have a memorable holiday at this place. For a conference it is ideal location to relax & learn. Great customer service by the management team and staff — so rare and makes it such a magical place. Well done Vijayshree resort. You exceeded all my expectations.

Vijayshree resort is one of the best Resort in entire Hampi region this property is very sprawling and very quiet in the nature with lust green greenery and different species of birds are coming here on the different different trees. Very well maintained Resort with very courteous and helpful staff. The only point is they are serving breakfast in the open area of the terrace and not in the AC area. Food quality are also very excellent.

Love this place an absolute stunner of a place with great food and amazing service. The vast grounds are extremely well maintained and form an oasis in the heart of the Hampi. Beautiful lawns, nice pool, More than worthy of the "Heritage" tag in its name that matches there Hospitality. Suitable for solo Traveller, couple or family.

This place when it opened few years back used to be really good at the service but now the service quality has gone down. We visited on a Tuesday and the food variety and quality was bad. The plates weren't clean and the servers were least interested to serve. One might get carried away by the way they welcome guests by beating drums and dance but then if you are coming here to have sumptuous meal, please do not come. This place is more about outdoor fun like horse ride, camel ride, trampoline, see saw and swing for kids, mehendi for ladies and Bullock cart ride. Also there is puppet show which lasts about 5 minutes. Key take away: Good place if there is a group of people, for kids, Try on weekends even if its crowded because weekdays food and service will be bad because of less crowd.

Excellent option to have luxury and comfort in India in a very accessible way! Near the ruins of Hampi and with a large property to enjoy and know the Indian culture. The dance shows are fantastic, the pool fabulous, and the restaurant very well. Beautiful rooms and decor.

The resort is very beautiful and well maintained. The room was clean did not have any issue except hot water did not come from the tap. However, the staff helped us with two buckets of hot water. The complimentary breakfast had a nice spread and was very good. Folk performances in the evening and the shows, cart rides are good ideas. The pure vegetarian food was delicious. Overall, the stay in the resort was enjoyable.

Large Resort, good location, easy to find. Good room but little noisy due to wedding was happening. Beautiful lawns, nice pool. Very good food and service. Must visit place.

Very nice resort for short stay. The open Nano ride from gate to the cottages is an interesting add on. The all-vegetarian good is very good. Good for family holiday.

Great location and open area. Okay type food. Rooms and bathrooms could be better. Specifically bathrooms should be way lot cleaner.

Decent place to stay. Definitely not a five star resort as listed on some websites, more like a three star place. Room cleanliness is average. Great garden area, good food and hospitality.

Amazing hospitality, wonderful stay, superb resort, large rooms, quick service Although we only stayed here for one night we thoroughly enjoyed our short visit. The highlight was the superb dining. Our waiters were so helpful and friendly. The breakfast was amazing… I have never seen such a wide selection to choose from! If I return to Hampi I shall definitely stay here again!

We booked this resort for arranging wedding of my sister and must say they did and manage everything nicely. Nice, big and very green resort, perfect place for organizing any event and staff is really very good and helpful. Special thanks to Khusboo for making our event a memorable one.

BEST RESORT STAY! The resort is beautiful, exceptionally clean, and a wonderful place to spend time while in place like Hampi. The restaurants and food were delicious and there was something for everyone on the menus. We ended our two week India trip at this hotel and would not have changed a thing! The staff is absolutely incredible and very helpful. We cannot say enough about what an amazing experience we had at this resort. Definitely recommend!

Nice place. We feel like we were headed to Hampi and took a wrong turn and reached Rajasthan. Place though made with taste has something missing. The food choice is very limited. They don't have room service. Not many people speak local language. Place is out of city, so one has to have a vehicle at their disposal. There is a coffee shop also there which closes at 6.30pm and the restaurant opens at 7.30pm. So for 1 hour we are left with no option other than fasting.

The stars are for the property. It is one beautiful resort near Hampi. The stay is peaceful and the service is nice. The only issue is the food and connectivity with the main city. The food is not so great and you need your own transport as this place is in the outskirts.

It's pretty good. With group you can enjoy a lot here. And for new couples you love it.

Very nice calm wonderful place. Good ambience, good staff and well maintained clean resort. We had a very nice stay and enjoyed our family get together.

An evening enjoyed Fully! We went to this Resort on suggestion of one of a friend. It was totally worth it. We reached the resort by 7 30 — 8 pm and were welcomed by friendly staff. Later we explored the resort, there were different entertainment options available, like Puppet show, traditional Dance, horse ride, Magic show etc. After spending a good amount of time we came to quench our hunger where again it was a surprise. The dining hall didn't have any tables & chairs but small tables, where one has to sit down and have dinner. They staff present there tied the traditional head gear (pagdi) to all of us before serving dinner. The Food was completely different and very tasty. Last but not the least was the dessert, Hot Jalebis was too good. Since we could not spend much time at the resort we decided to come back and stay for one complete day in the later part of the year.

Best Resort cum Hotel near Hampi and Hospet. Non-Veg food is not served. Smoking and Drinking are not allowed. All other things are very good. Location of the resort is peaceful. Best for Couple and Family.

It is a wonderful place for family visit. Good service and facilities inside resort as well as is Royal with all needed facilities inside. Great ambience. Enjoyed night theme village folk song program and early morning cool sun rise. Overall a great experience. In coffee 24 hours.

Green and Excellent place in between Hampi and Hospet. The staff are very responsive and well behaved. Regardless of the pricing (too high) this is a best place to escape from the corporate world.

This property deserves only two stars as opposed what they claim! Firstly the resort is completely vegetarian and not alcohol friendly hence not recommended for people who would want to chill and take a vacation at Hampi! There are smoke detectors everywhere (take a hint). Since my husband and I were out sightseeing throughout the day this place worked best for us. The pool is excellent though but it's not open during the night (7am to 7pm). We were so disheartened by the ambience that we didn't bother having a meal or even coffee for that matter! They have staff who can only converse in Hindi, which is frankly disappointing! The external facade however is beautiful which is hand painted!

Wonderful, we wish we were staying longer… Just a wonderful place. Quality all round. Great staff, great food, great facilities. Beautiful views across the lake to the City Palace and to the countryside behind the hotel. You should see it at night with all the lights! Wish we were staying for a week or two.

We stayed at The heritage resort. The service at this hotel is second to none. All the staff are amazing, indian food deserve a special mention. The rooms are wonderful, the food heavenly and the weather (35 degrees) complemented all of this perfectly. The only downside I can mention is that our stay of 3 nights was again too short. Will definitely be going back!

Nice heritage place in the midst of dry land. A decent place to hangout.

It is a rajhasthani theme based resort. Big and spacious. They also have a inhouse spa facility. You can hire a cycle if you like to go around for about INR 300/ — a day. Food is ok, they have Rajhastani cuisine served at night.

Nice place to spend an evening near Hampi. Traditional Rajastani art and cultural shows are exhibited in the evenings. Kids can enjoy horse and bullock cart ride. Rajastani style dinner may not be liked by everyone. Serene environment for staying in cottages. Beautiful swimming pool is there.

Amazing for bird watchers.

Best place to enjoy with family because they dont serve alchol. AND ITS NEAR BY HAMPI HARDELY 5 KM… THE RESORT HAS VERRY BEAUTIFUL land scape as well AS good area to enjoy around. Room are big size but bathroom should be upgraded. The evening theme was good with camel ride horse rides and magician show and a traditional food of rajastan… we stayed for 2 nights I think we couldnt explore hampi.

I also had same experience; I think day by day it’s becoming worst.

We had a worst experience last weekend, food was not good, wooden table was not cleaned properly, plates and spoons was not washed properly, food was not served as per the menu, they just served white rice and sambar, 450 Rs is not worth. And moreover we saw so many cockroach and rodents on the eating tables. Overall we had a pathetic experience.

Lovely hotel — but slightly out of the way and the taxi driver had trouble finding it. Staff were super helpful and went out of their way to make us feel welcome.

It was a good place for a holiday.
