This is right next to the famous temple. Extremely convenient location. You can get food here, but you'd have to pre-order it. Choices are limited. A. C. Rooms are available. Room booking has to be done online. Rooms are spacious and bathrooms are huge. Heater is in the bathroom, so you can get hot water when you like. Being a small town, there is good chance of power cuts, especially during rains. They do have a backup generator to help out during such times. Staff is polite.

Standard, budget type hotel of KSTDC. Few rooms, 2AC and 3Non AC. A restaurant serving limited but good food, all through the day full 10pm. Big room size, just opposite the Historic grand Hoysaleshwar temple. A pay n use public toilet is in the premises, clean and well maintained by the staff, for the tourists n restaurant guests. Good linen, reasonable clean but insects (black Ants) are a problem. Basically seems the best place to stay in this small town of Hoysaleshwar.

Sooper see hi upar experience. The hotel is opposite to the temple. You can stroll the temple premises in the evening as the sun sets and in the early morning. No rush at all. The gardens are well maintained. Though hotel is on state high way. There's no traffic so it becomes extremely quiet at night. Perfect to hear crickets sing their song.

Only good place to stay at halebeedu, staff is very good, tasty food, very reasonable room tarrif, property located infrot of the temple site, forget to click room pics but I assure that room are very good, clean, and spacious.

Very close to Hoysaleshwara temple. Good parking facility. 4 bed Family room is good. Food is average. There is no good hotels in Halibeedu, KDTC mayura hotel is the only choice. Hotel Staff are friendly, but they speak only kannada language.

Frankly speaking at Halebeed there is no other decent accommodation available other than this place. This is under Karnataka government tourism dept and hence I was bit skeptical while booking. But it turned out to be a pleasant stay. I was able to park my car inside. Make sure you eat food from their kitchen itself as there may not be other options outside. But make sure to order ahead. Don't expect service like a regular upscale hotel as this is run by the government, that means the place is understaffed. Whatever it is wake up at 6 am and take around on the temple. This is a must. Check my review of the temple, you check the pictures I have taken in the early morning hours. 24 hours hot water is available along with AC. The place is clean and well arranged. The only thing to note is they have very less number of cottages so book ahead. They have an only online hotel booking. Search on KSTC site for the link.

The only decent stay available in HaleBidu… There are about 5 rooms and booking is to be done online only… Restaurant is available where you can order anything and they will get it done in 20 minutes… The hospitality is very good… There might be a slight delay in their response due to lack of personnel… Only 4-5 people maintain the whole area… It is situated exactly opposite to Hoysaleshwara temple and morning view of the temple is awesome… Parking is available… Rooms are well maintained… Restaurant is available for outsiders too…

A very beautiful experience. Place is neat and clean. Very limited rooms which makes this place very convenient. Quality of food available here is simple and sober as we tested on veggie options. Staff is decent and Co operative.

Mayura restaurant chain is Karnataka government initiative to provide good quality good at reasonable price. This place was clean, calm and quiet. Food was good. All KSTDC buses only stop at Mayura for food.

First I was hesitant to book this hotel but I did… There is nothing to regret to about. Especially the place… I was enroute from belur to halabeedu. The hotel is exactly located opposite to the temple… And being specific about the stay. The room was neat nd explain. 2 times power sathi yeduvum kidaaaiyaathu… Neat bathroom Nd location is great…

Good hotel with just 4 rooms in the whole hotel, surprisingly a good govt (KSTDC) hotel with good view of the Hoysaleshwar temple and ample empty space inside the premises to walk around and roam. Only bad part is the food taste and rude response from the staff. On a whole, a great value for money at Halebeedu and nearby area.

Good quality vegetarian and non-vegetarian food, neat & clean washroom.

KSTDC hotel has potential to consider as luxury hotel but it is currently just a budget hotel. Location is great. Limited number of rooms — very much prone to over booking at the time of high demand. Rooms are not much clean. Restaurant facility has very limited option and timing — quality pathetic. Overall a so so experience. I put the second star only for the Manager — very much friendly and helpful.

Decent place near Halebeedu temple. Calm and quiet place. Reasonably priced and tasty food.

Superb govt hotel, but with only 4 rooms. Spacious, plenty space available for parking. Good budget hotel.

Govt maintained hotel. Food was fine but got to have a little patience. No other options near by, so more crowded.

Well maintained, clean rooms, good restaurant, plenty of space for parking, tourist spots closeby, very courteous and helpful staff.

If you visit Halebedu hotel Mayura Shanthala is a decent place for night stay. Restaurant is within the campus and you can have nice home made food.

We ordered aalo jeera fry and it has chicken pieces in it. When enquired the fellow is very rude. Bad food. Road side hotels are way way better than this.

Nice place for overnight stay, open n specious campus, simple food at it's canteen, located at good location right opposite the hoyashaleshwar temple, other 2 famous temples are at walkable distance.

Worst service in the history of mankind! People in the restaurant only talk the native language and keep shouting orders at you. The don't let you order what you want, instead they insist on having fried rice as it will be prepared quickly! Ya quickly they say. I've been waiting for 1 and half hours in this restaurant at now at the time of writing this review and all I have on my table are plates! Good luck getting your food here.

The food takes too long and the waiter is really irresponsible. Plus a huge menu is printed out with over-priced food which is not even available.

Language barriers no seats and telling us to not order dishes but fried rice instead of that since it would be quicker but instead the dishes come quicker. Yeh I guess enough said!

Dont even think about going here. The service is horrible and the food takes forever to arrive . They have a whole menu printed out with all items overpriced which are never available. Not even water is given to people in the restaurant. I dont even understand why people even come here! Dont make the mistake I did, save yourselves and go somewhere else.
