Well first things first, we all leave the city to enjoy solitude. This place delivers that, I loved this place because of the location it is in. There a steam right next to the house. Rooms were clean enough but my wife could still spot some dirt which I will ignore and say it's clean for a guy. Room offers a balcony. Running hot water at our dispense. Only downside would be the location if you are alone here and definitely the route to this place I had to use all my skills to not fall off my bike. Great value for money. Cook Yakub was a class. Go ahead and enjoy the stay here.

Its a really nice stay. They maintain the place quite welk. Very clean and peaceful. But the food the staff prpvide is just bearable and also they will provide only limited item and tht too with limited quantities of 1 per person. Also to reach the place if u hav a bus or bigger vehicle, you cant go beyond a limit and then u hav to walk to the place. However they provide good speakers lights for dance and all. They will also provide u bonfire. Everything is a great experience.

It was a nice stay here with our whole team. They need to improve on meals as it was average, also it would be great if they start keeping ready to use items for purchase there itself instead of going and brining from main market.

Great place in the middle of nowhere. We had a lovely time here with friends. Had a nice bonfire in the evening and the host is delightful and very accomodating. Thank you for a great stay!

Not a great place to stay, Food was just manageable. Unused bed were just lying around in the hallway. Nice secluded place with lot of greenery around. But the ambience inside the house is not great.

Awesome place for hangout! Really nice hospitality and accommodation. Property is just amazing. Climate and ambiance is pretty good! Affordable charges with tasty food. Have lots of fun activities… I would recommended this place for office trips and family trips.

The stay was awesome and food was ok, at reasonable cost. Try to go for walk around estate and to the waterfalls it was great experience. Only thing is, I observed spider webs on the roof except that everything was great.

The rooms are spacious. Its in middle of the estate. But the view is not as it looks in the photos. No much of activities. Food is very bad. Just like some mess food. N its served cold. U dnt get hot water 24 hrs. Overall its just k for someone who just wants a break vy badly. If u wnt some more thgs search someother place.

I am a veteran here, I visited this place 4 times with family and friends, and will keep visiting. This is the best place to stay in Coorg if you are looking for authentic food, awesome scenic beauty, very friendly and courteous hosts. If you like hiking, there is a great trail to nearby peak called Tadiandamol which is the highest peak in this region. Legends has it that one can view Arabian Sea from this peak on a clear day. The hosts will prepare your lunch and pack them for you while you prepare for the trail. If you are the laid back type, this is the ideal place for you, just relax throughout the day with 360° awesome scenic view and freshly brewed coffee.

The Chingaara estate is the younger brother of the Happy Valley estate in the Madikeri area. This estate is the newer one. It overlooks a huge coffee estate. The climb to the estate is extremely difficult and it is advisable to leave your car at the base of the estate and use the estate's own jeep service. The estate itself has a lot of to-do stuff and you wouldn't need to get out of the estate during your stay. You can go up the hill towards the bigger Happy Valley estate, or you may go down towards a private waterfall and enjoy a magnificent view. Rooms are big and clean. Most of the rooms have a mezzanine floor, where you can accommodate another two people — works well when you usually ask for an extra mattress! Food was decent. Cannot complain much. If you like non-veg food then you would have to pre-order. The default menu is vegetarian. Do not forget to try some of the locally made wines. They taste nice and are pretty cheap.

Amazing place to stay with family and friends right in the midst of mountain and forests. Great hospitality by the hosts. Much much recommended.
