I took a villa and a room for three days and paid the amount
I’m a doctor working in icu
They didn’t allow me out caz I didn’t clear 500 rs
And the staff don’t know English and how to respect
Please don’t go to such cheap resorts
The security and the manager and reception are worst

Great place to chill out with live music. As an event planner loved working at this hotel.

We booked it for 1st April 21 to 2nd April 21 with breakfast lunch dinner from Goibibo.
Check in time was 2pm but due to road accident we reached at 3:55pm. There was no welcoming gesture by the staff at the counter. When enquired about lunch from reception we got the response that as it’s around 4 they can’t serve the lunch. We requested to arrange something atleast. From room also we tried ordering food as it’s “all day Dining “so that same can be paid separately but they simply denied and later on agreed for a burger and a sandwich.

We had a very worst new year event we attended so far! they just say VIP lounge and charge huge amount everything is messed up and no food and drinks were there. So separate barricade for family entries. Will never ever recommend any one …

The convention centre is located very close to the flyover that goes from Jakkur to Yelahanka. Easily accessible by bus, just a small walk from the main road. The main hall is big enough to accommodate 1000 guests easily. The dinner hall is also big and it's manageable even for a bit function. There is enough parking space available for cars. Overall a very good place for hosting a reception kinda program.

Lunch was really good. The pool was neat, so was the play area. Kids will really love the place. This is definitely one of the best resorts in Bangalore. Kids will love it. Worth the cost. Haven't stayed there. Heard that rooms are as costly as 4500INR/night.

Location: It’s in a good location where there no much traffic in weekend in close to Bangalore. Parking: there is sufficient space for parking cars… no need to worries about parking. Minus is there is no valet parking. Good: starters are good and tasty. Buffet food tasted is good. Moderate. Auditorium: it’s good and sound effects lighting’s are good. Very spacious. Green lands are there to some events. Minus: there no much to see near by.

Good experience overall during our 3 day stay as a large family. Spacious, clean and good rooms for he most part with the resort having lots of open space to move around. Decent pool, badminton court, TT. Minor inconveniences like being asked to shift out of the meeting room, rudely being asked to move from a table we were seated at during buffet breakfast. All of which we attribute to large number of events being held at the same time. There was large ditch being dug to the rear of the compound behind the superior cottages, these should have been protected from children, toddlers falling in.

Location was at yelanka. Location was good and easy to track and easy to reach as well. Desert has very large space for convention centres as well as for play area which includes three restaurants as well. I have to attend a professional event at the resort so the space was quite large and we need some games Resort has some indoor plus outdoor games as well that is chargeable. Food was also good but starters were amazing. Resort staff is also good humble and approachable as well.

Nice place I like their garden. Its a nice place to arrange family parties or office parties. Good infrastructure. Good services. It is a really nice place with very clean rooms. The service is really good too with good waiters. The food is pretty good and the rooms are also nice.

I visited as a family day out here and enjoyed a lot. We liked staff members politeness. We enjoyed swimming & Archery indoor games. Food was awesome. The Resort is a beautiful place with lush plantation and provided with a well planned convention hall. The functions arranged here can accommodate good number of guests, both for the events and dinging. An excellent parking area is provided with total security and vehicles can be comfortably parked. Barring the slight distance from the main/heart of the Bengaluru City, Royal Orchid Resort is a good place to celebrate a happy time/event.

Medium size resort cum hotel and restaurant near Yelahanka off Airport road Bangalore. Food is very good. Both veg and Non veg. Highlight is very less chilly. Rates were about 750 per person in group or 1250 for buffet. Has place and things for children to play. Swimming pool and bar also. Sufficient car parking. Has rooms to stay though I have never seen them. Overall a very good ambience and good place for a day outing.

It is a really good place my daughter had a annual day program in this place… The green rooms are very huge and nice and the other rooms are not so good but their kind of good. But the stage and the whole Royal Orchid is really huge and nice. The lighting and the seating arrangements are also good and all on the grass area is also good. It deservess a 5 star… It was worth the visit…

A really good place for outbound trainings or team outings. They even give you corporate discount btw. The place is huge. Has awesome outdoor sports arena. Has a equally good bar and restaurant. Weekend with family is also not a bad idea at all. It's strategically located near Bangalore so commute should not be an issue.

It was a nice experience. Verve is a nice restaurant with a big spread. We were there for a day outing and had a fun filled day. Was greeted well at the entry and then was well recieved by the Verve restaurant manager Ricky. Everyone was pretty helpful. Pool was clean and all other facilities were well maintained. Lunch buffet had various cuisines. All in all a well spent day at Royal Orchid resort.

Never ever go to this place they not even cleaned swimming pool and tailes were so slippery no children friendly staff after checking out they searching the room like we are terrorists the staff was checking the bathroom taps and shower really bad experience in other hotel for extra bed they charge only 500 to 600 but they charge 1000+tax food also very very costly.

Pros: place close to city. Our group of 150 was easily accomodated. Reasonably maintained. Food taste was reasonable. Cons: expensive place. Had one breakfast line fore 150! Table tennis tables were ancient. Slippery floor. Lot of coconut trees without nets, risk of coconut or branch falling on person or parked vehicles. One member had a cut in his leg inside swimming pool.

I had taken day out package here. Firstly, the hospitality is worst, there is literally nothing to do here. The one thing we were looking forward to was the swimming pool and voila, that was spoilt too coz they have swimming coaching sessions from 3 o clock to 6 o clock. There is no one around to even ask us if we are ok. The changing rooms are so so horribly maintained.
They had a game room where foosball table is almost ruined, Carrom coins are not distinguishable by color, table tennis table and badminton courts are fine.
These people spoilt my 25th birthday. Lunch was the only thing which was tolerable (not even exceptional). Please please do not choose this place if you want to have a day out. There are so many other better resorts for this amount and lesser.

My life event, my marriage was screwed up by these people just few days before the wedding they change everything because they wanted me to cancel my booking as they have got a bigger booking
Initially they agreed for outside vendor later denied it when I questioned and told them it was not in the contract they agreed for my vendor later they used the cheapest trick that is the good timings that mentioned they said they will give only between that and not before that and no set up can be done
That is the wedding time given by them is 6pm to 11pm and I can’t get the venue before for set up
We had even cross checked about the timings they had clearly told no it’s only good timings that’s mentioned u can occupy prior to that itself and now they are like no u signed the contract I won’t give it before 6 if u want pay 80k more I will give
The lady in sales should be a dacoit and not in hospitality they way she spoke was disgusting n low class.

The only advantage-early check-in cons: In one room did not work lock in the door to the balcony.
The question of resettlement was solved for a long time.
Non-Professional staff. — The attendant did not know where the new room, a long walk on the floors of a three-storey building without a lift, until he was told that 405 is not on the non-existent 4th floor in a separate building.
In 405 at arrival there was no hot water.

Nice place for a relaxing day out and best to visit in groups or with friends. Awesome location and little out of the city traffic. Also good for corporate team meetings or a day party. The amenities and ambience is also good. Well maintained and very helpful staff. But was a little disappointed with the food a little too bland and very less seasoning for my taste, however depends on personal opinion. Kids would like the food and do not have to worry about the spicy factor.

It was my wedding and I had guests coming from across India and the world. If it wasn't for the food and a select few members of the staff (by few I mean 2), the most special event in my life would have been completely ruined. Here are the list of issues:
1. The rooms were not allotted to us in time. The check in time is 12 but despite having called in advance a lot of the rooms were not ready when we reached. Two rooms were given to us at 6 pm.
2. A sensible hotel management would have arranged for several porters to be available if they are expecting a wedding family to be arriving. They had two people. I personally carried most of the luggages for our guests which I don't mind to be honest. The reception staff were nicely standing behind their counters, no offer of help whatsoever with a sad look on their face.
3. The phones don't work, when they do they don't have the number of the front desk or the housekeeping extension printed on the phone which I would expect even in a low budget 2 story hotel near the railway station (and no the direct buttons on the phone don't work) When you actually reach the housekeeping after some magic algebraic rocket science they seem to suffer from short term memory loss because the stuff ordered never seems to arrive. And never means never
The above is just a short list of so many problems that we faced (one key per room only, no towels, ruined my American friend's saree, one very rude person at the reception).

Very poor management of staff. Attitude of floor manager is very poor. He is the most useless person with helpless staff. We faced big problem waiting for tea and milk for baby for almost an hour. Every time we asked they told that they r preparing. Finally they tell that "we are doubtful whether Sunday day outing package includes that or not… " Still they continued the same story that they are "preparing the tea". We just left the place waiting for almost more than a hour. Greatest of all useless staff…

If you are planning for corporate outing, Its a worst experience you will have ever. This place is absolutely Awful. Its more like a overcrowded fish market, There wont be any proper sports equipment. They don't have crowd management skill. I have been to multiple resorts around Bangalore but by far this resort is the worst in terms of service and hospitality. Lousy Place! 1. This is a place for old ages. No activities, no fun.
2. Staff are junking around like a piece of shit — best place to watch out management puppet show.
3. Food is below average in terms of quality, taste and choice.
4. We had arrangements till evening but came back in few hours.
5. None of the game equipment's are maintained and are in worse conditions.
6. They claim 3 adventurous games, but none of them were available.
7. It's not your money's worth. Dreadful place, would definitely not recommend.

Royal Orchid Resorts Yelahanka is the worst place to go for team outing.
We had a company outing to this place recently and apparently this was over booked.
Not only there were two weddings happening there, but there were lots of people from other companies too, which resulted in utter chaotic situation. They seem to be only after money. They just overbooked and spoiled our day out completely
The staff and management behaved rudely and did not response to any of us properly.
There was really nothing.
They have a very very small ground where around 50 people were playing. This reminded me of public play ground!
The swimming pool was like some pool in the mela.
No extra activities.
The TT Bats and Balls were damaged. Badminton court was crowded.
Food was average
They promised to arrange for Paint Ball and Zorbing, but ended up completely denying it
Please refrain from doing any bookings to this resort. Do booking only if you want to waste your money! — — Peace.
