It's a wonderful place to be in for the weekends. Wonderful place. Superb staff who looked after all our needs. Lovely clean rooms. Excellent paintings in the rooms. Vegan and gluten-free food available. Bullock cart rides. Pottery. Rabbits turkeys emus. Plenty of games and very child-friendly too.

Pathetic roads with no concern from resort staff. Had to get back without visiting the resort due to bad roads, no one to respond from the resort and in fact practically all phones switched off. Losers! Had no courtesy to say that there was no service when we had made pre bookings.

Amazing place, equally good staff, food and activities. We really had good time this weekend. Rooms are pretty big and nicely made. All eco and natural.

Decent resort. Nice location though towards the end the road is really bad. Food can be improved a lot but activities are nice. The staff are polite and helpful. I had once gone without prior booking but they accommodated for activities like Bullock cart etc, though each activity is charged. It's a village experience with games like kite flying. Gilli danda etc. Directions can be confusing if you miss the sign boards.

Nice place, good host, need more activities, please remove cow milking, (I am sure, many have seen cow gives to milk, it's between a mother and calf) why make an activity out of it? ATV bike was not working, cycles were punctured or brakes not working, include more village games, not basketball and volleyball… Consider as positive feedback for improvisation, iam sure it'll be more appreciated. Staff, place, food was all good. No doubt.

I went this place with colleague on an offical outing. Go only if you already made arrangements for an off-road capable vehicle. The last few kilometers are almost impossible in a sedan or hatch on a rainy day. The place has all arrangements to give you a village like experience. The food was tasty and given the far off location of this place, well exceeded our expectations. Over night stay is also available. Swimming pool was under construction.

Excellent place for a vacation, the ambiance is amazing and the staff are really helpful. It's a really nice place for an OBL… If your planning to go on a family vacation, it's the best get away… Far from the hustle of the city you can just sit back and relax for a good weekend. A little tricky to find the route but once you reach it's heaven for sure.

Theme based resort in the outskirts of Bangalore. The idea is to relax and enjoy activities seen in villages. Located well outside the city in a beautiful location. Even the last stretch of travel towards the resort takes you to a different world. Food is decent but limited options. Staff though are very friendly. Rooms are nice and give a rustic feeling. Facilities like AC and TV were being installed which are guest friendly in terms of options but may take away from the eco friendly theme. There are lots of animals on campus that you can interact with. Good place to visit as a family or group. Kids may enjoy particularly if they have company.

Beautiful place. Totally self sufficient in terms of water, electricity and food. Great place for a weekend getaway. It's a different experience as compared to most other resorts and hotels. This is a very down to earth, simple place. Lots of village activities to do and learn for children and adults. Freshly grown and cooked food. Very humble, polite and helpful staff. Even though the place is simplistic, its kept very clean and hygienic with good washrooms and rooms. Will definitely visit again.

Had an amazing time here. If you want a getaway for a day it's a great place. Food is great, lot of traditional games. Had an amazing time.

Yeah… You do get the feel of a village, but I wish they also had some more comfortable seating s under the trees. The rope cots are good for lying down, but not for sitting. The food was fine.

A great place to laze and relax. Very courteous staff. But giving only 4 stars as they need to pay better attention to the food they serve. Though very tasty not hygienic at all. We found hair and wire mesh twice in the food. Will sure visit and recommend the place if they work on the hygiene. Hope the concerned authorities read this review and work on it.

A awesome day at this super eco resort… Lots of activities with the village theme to keep you engaged througout the day. From catapults, top spinning, lagori, etc etc all were fun and explained well. They have the normal outdoor and indoor games also. Swimming pool is under renovation. The roads leading to Our native village is awesome. Food is nice and staff is very friendly. Will be back soon.

Very bad hospitality by resort staff. The local villagers were good. No initiative was taken by the staff to conduct any activities. Things assured while booking are different. The moment we checked in, they were behind us to check out early. Ambience was good and north indian food was good, but south indian food was bad.

Rooms were good. But without AC, so it was very difficult to manage during summer. The service at restaurant was good. Hospitality by other staff such as manager and reception was bad. The village ambience was good. The last 2.5 km stretch to the resort is comple horrible road, so had to request cab driver to drop us at destination. At least the resort should provide drop n pick facility to the nearest bus stop or cab point.

Was good previously. But not anymore. Only thing good there is food.

The place is away from the concrete and that is why I give it 2 stars but otherwise it is a waste. Nothing much to do. No activities other than a Bullock cart ride and pottery. I wish there was a place to dive in after lunch but there were 2 indian charpai (cots) under a tree. There is a 2.5km stretch of really really poor road and I went on a bicycle only to have to walk this stretch.

We went here last Saturday ; couple of friends. So finding this place is quite a task even for Google maps. So have someone's number handy. The resort is located inside very rusty and green site. It's nice. We paid around 1200 pp for morning to evening activities including lunch. Was worth it I think. I like such remote and not too crowded places. Activities include treasure hunt, Goli, basketball, cricket, kite flying, pottery and cow milking. Limited, but a day is not enough anyway to cover everything. The site is muddy, so dress appropriately. Lunch was good, but I was expecting more local organic taste and dishes, but instead ate the regular paneer etc. So overall a nice place to enjoy with family and friends for a day and good for the price.

It's a place for people who have not had a village/ small town experience. Good for kids from city to have some first hand feel of it. Employees are friendly. Food is ok.

Amazing location, beautifully designed and maintained… Very friendly staff. A perfect place for a "different" weekend getaway or corporate retreat.

A very nice place to relax and remember our childhood memories. Best service and lovely staffs. I had celebrated my birthday nd had a gr8 nd lovely experience.

Far from the busy city life. Approach road is like going in a grassland. Very rough drive. Food was good. Nice atmosphere and you will get introduces to olden days games like lagori, marbels, kite flying, etc. No swimming pool. All age group can enjoy.

Good place for family / tradition lovers/ kids. 2 km from main gate, road is worst… Spacious parking… Rooms are bigger and are in traditional style. Swimming pool is under construction… Staffs are friendly… Lunch and dinner are good… Breakfast is average… All games and Activities, pottery, Bullock cart ride, cow milking, kite flying will be memorable…

Drive to the place is really nice. Dust though. Food is not what we expected to be. Village experience is nice. Got to milk a cow, make pottery, kite flying, top spinning, cart ride etc.

Not a good option if you can find better places near the city. Not much options for team activities, pool shown in the website is in pathetic condition. Food was not bad.

Didn't like the place much as the activity (sports) equipments like bat Milton or others are not in good condition. Good was normal. Nothing special about it. So its a so so place but if u wan to have some nice time out of city with your childrens then you can go there.

A good full day outing with kids. Lots of old time games that we can relate to. Courteous staff and good food.

Visited this place a few years ago it is resort close to nature. The good part is there were hardly any mosquitoes. The food is decently good.

Good place for a morning breakfast. But restaurant guys says an amount and cash counter guys have different amount while billing. Apart from that it's a nice day out for family's.

Nice place for a weekend stay. Friendly support staff. We were lucky to get a spacious room. Village sports attempt to enhance experience to some extent. Food is OK. (Nothing great). Room service connectivity through CUG phones poor. Approach Road for the last 1.5kms through a government land is hell when it rains.

Our Native Village resort is an economical friendly resort, tucked in a quaint village not very far from Bangalore city centre, an hour and a half to be precise. The resort gives a rustic feel, with a very supportive staff. The approach road to the resort goes through the Hesarghata grasslands, which is an ecological reserve. The road is very scenic but bumpy. The stay at the resort is very comfortable, with large sized rooms and naturally cooling bricks. The food offered here is simple and sumptuous, the freshness of the produce adds to the taste. There are a good set of activities planned through the day by the staff. The playground can accommodate a good number of families or larger groups. A walk around the village and the woods is very refreshing. The pool here is not a conventional pool but more of a village pond. Overall a very good place indeed for a quick refreshing outing with family or group.

I'm here to give you a realistic review of this place how it was three years before. They gave us a tour of the place and lecture about how "Green" the place is. Please don't fooled by this and pay a hefty price that is after GST Luxury tax and everything… If want green go to your native place. Chicken and turkey might already be dead. I'm optimistic its just that I want to warn inform people before they visit this far off places. Have a good stay with the ants and mosquitoes.

Good for a company team outing, approach is not good but the scenic nature makes the drive kind of okay.

Peace and quiet natural location a few kilometers from the bustling city life. Food served is good. The people are warm and hospitable. There re activities centred around the village theme like bullock cart ride, pottery etc. There is also a massage service and a small pool.

Rustic feel to the place, expect to play some old games here, foods got a local flavor…

This is one of the best eco and pet friendly resorts I have ever been to. The team there will go an extra mile to keep you entertained at all times and everything is so pet friendly that it makes this place an awesome weekend getaway! Food is super organic and has some of the special delicious which would make your mouth water and most of the veggies and dairy stuff are from their estate. Lot of open spaces to ride a bike, go running, rally driving, tree climbing, playing with your pets… Possibilities are endless… You just have to be there to know how awesome it is. A bit of advise to the travellers, be nature friendly and keep that place clean. If you're travelling in large groups, please don't disturb other people's privacy. If you have crying babies, please keep away from crowds. If you pets, keep them on a leash. Just to be safe! :)

Very good place for family to spend a day. Children will enjoy the bullock cart ride, milking the cow and pottery. The pool or so called natural pond was good. Food was not great and not many options. A reasonable place for a day outing with children.
