A very nice and cosy place to stay. Staff is very courteous and food is amazing which is also home cooked.

Stayed here for about a month. This is not the place for families. Should be okay for bachelors. Here is the detailed review of my experience. Initially before moving in (about 4 days before), We mutually agreed on a call and fixed a price since it was a long stay. But later on the day of checking in, I gave a casual call to him saying that I would be moving in today. Instead of giving a warm welcome, he raised the price for the stay and also told it all depends on the demand of the room. He took advantage of my position and priced it higher. This didn't sound good. Regarding the stay, here are the things that I noticed- 1. There is no clean drinking water available at that place. The water stinks and it can never be used for cooking too. This is a very basic need of every individual and the manager should ensure he supplies at least a drinkable water. 2. I notice this on every weekend that the house keeping guys smoke a lot and they do this inside the house itself instead of going out. The smoke surrounds the entire house and takes days to settle down. It becomes unbearable and I need to let the manager know. This doesn't stop here. The same is repeated in all consecutive weekends. 3. There is no proper lock for the main entrance. Anyone can unlock the main door with any key/even a coin. Only the rooms have proper locks. 4. I had booked two more rooms on one of the weekday (April 27th) as my in laws were coming in. This was really a bad day.

Ideally located & peaceful surroundings. People are nice & service is excellent. I stayed for about a month. Staff are very helpful & price is also reasonable.

Comfortable place to stay with family. Rooms are pretty clean and workers are well mannered. U can order and get home cooked food. Easy access to shops, malls, restaurants and hospitals. Nice place for a decent pay.

The homestay/hotel is good. The service is not so prompt. But the cheap rooms make this stay worth it. The food served is good. And you will like if someone wants nonspicy food.

Lovedale homestay is a really nice place. This house is a calm place inside of Bangalore, which I got to appreciate during my stay of more than three months. Other highlights: a very nice and helpful staff!

Excellent place if someonene wants to stay in marathahalli. Yummy food, good caretakers and location is also good.

Great place to stay and good homely cooked food.

Perfect place, neat and maintained well.

The place is difficult to locate from a moving vehicle. The rooms are fine. There was no water for the whole night. However they had provided us with water filled buckets so we could manage. You can buy dinner at an extra cost and it was really good.

It's in a semi secluded street. Efficient staff, clean kitchen, that's what I observed as a brief visitor.

I stayed for a month with family. The place is well maintained and had good hygiene. With Wi-Fi, TV fridge a decent place to live. I enjoyed my stay her.

Two of us stayed in Lovedale for a month… an extremely comfortable and safe stay… with a homely living room complete with a television, balconies on each floor, a well equipped kitchen (with a toaster and microwave), a supermarket at a 5 minute walk, facility of home-made food… it is definitely home away from home :)

I stayed at Lovedale guesthouse for about 6 months with my 3 month old kid and my mother. It was home away from home. Dev, owner of the guesthouse is one gem of a person and made that we were comfortable and safe. He got cctv installed to monitor the place and ensured it was safe for 2 women guest staying alone. Guesthouse has lovely view and is centrally located with great access to public transport. Thank u Dev for such wonderful hospitality.

Very Good place to stay and enjoy with family in very reasonable price.

We stayed at Lovedale Guesthouse for nearly 2 months. The apartment is new with all available utilities. The neighborhood is very nice. The apartment is also situated in close proximity to local supermarkets and stores. Lastly, we were very happy to have a great host/manager in Dev. He made our stay very confortable. I highly recommend this place to anyone.
