Located in the centre of Bangalore, this is a prime area with easy access to anywhere in the city. The rooms are wonderful in their simplicity, with sufficient space and clean surfaces. The service however is what stands out. It is better than many five star hotels, and the staff's attitude is always on the positive side. I've been here twice, and I would only consider another hotel if this was sold out.

There is also a small grocery stall right next to it where you can buy water cheaply. Staff and boss were incredibly friendly, boss spoke excellent English and helped us translate to our driver. Prompt and great service. Breakfast service was also good, the boss made some mini dosas when we said we just wanted a little to try. My friends and I had a lovely stay at hotel vellara.

Nice cosy little hotel near one of Bengalurus happening places Brigade Road. The rooms are moderately sized, 24 hr hot water availability and pretty fast Wi-Fi. Food is pretty good, their breakfast spread changes on a day to day basis and it's good. Definitely a bang for your buck. I'd definitely recommend Hotel Vellara to my inner circle (friends and family).

Located in market area of brigade road in bangalore. Value for money with cleanliness. Free best breakfast with continental option with fruit/ juice/ tea coffee option … very good chef for cooking food like chapati and other n. Indian dishes.

Polite hotel staff. Quite basic breakfast with 2 selections of Indian staples, toast and omelette (need to inform staff on site). There's also fruits, coffee and tea. 24h check in/out is a great perk of this place. Comfortable beds, clean rooms and good showers with steady stream of hot water. Corridors aren't that visually attractive but the rooms compensate for it. Could hear sounds and voices along corridors because the doors are not very thick and floors not carpeted. Likewise, people outside can hear you talking loudly inside.

It was a really nice place to stay with family. It was really neat, had free Wi-Fi, free breakfast buffet which was really good etc. The price was very nominal. The only problem was that there was very little parking available. That too it was underground which made it really difficult to park and take the car out.

Vellara is agood Hotel — Clean Nice rooms in the heart of city. Front desk staff are good and helps in sight seeing and car booking in reasonable price. We stayed in a 3 bed room. The room is quite big. The hotel has Wi-Fi which is also good. The have a nice rooftop restaurant. This serves complementary nice breakfast also. The breakfast is good and enough. Dhosa and Omlett can also be ordered additionally. The restaurant has good food selection for dinner, you need to order and it may take 20 minutes. Restaurant staff needs little more training. They should provide salt, peeper, Tomato sauce along with ordered food where needed. Also Tissue paper / water is not properly served, You need to visit the counter for these small things. Also in cabin complementary tea / coffee arrangement with a kettle would have been nice. Otherwise the hotel is very nice and comfortable with this price range. If you are travelling with Family with 2 children, you may choose 2 rooms or one 3 bedded room (this will be economical).

Its quite old. Though neat. Found it overpriced. Around 8k for 2 days. Breakfast was horrible. They don't have a proper kitchen sorts. We ate again from outside. Was a waste of money.

Super place on a budget. Very near to all the shopping on Brigade road and MG road. This is a family run place and the staff and management are very helpful. Wifi is good and included. Breastfast is basic. For non vegetarians they offer room service from a restaurant called Toms which has some nice local delicacies at a reasonable price. Check the hotel website directly for prices. They tend to be cheaper than booking sites.

I lived in Vellara Hotel for three solid weeks in 2014 and I enjoyed the clean spacious room with TV and internet (Wi-Fi). It is strategically located in Bangalore city and very convenient to access transportation. The Price was reasonable. Food was ok. Vellara staffs were humbly professional in nature and pleasantly available to help.
