Bad service, excellent location, old shabby rooms.

Wonderful Stay at The Hill Castle, Gangtok.
We stayed at The Hill Castle during our trip to Gangtok, Sikkim, and had a truly wonderful experience.

Our stay at The Hill Castle was truly wonderful! The rooms were cozy and comfortable, perfect for a relaxing getaway. The food was extremely delicious — every meal felt homemade and full of flavor.

We stayed there for 2 days and it was awesome… Hotel staff are so supportive n welcoming… Great service!

The hotel is located at middle of MG marg (you have to go 2 stairs up). The service is really good. There served pure bengali food and the quantity is more than enough for one person.

We booked an Executive Room with a beautiful view, and the experience was excellent. The service was outstanding, and the hotel staff was very polite and helpful throughout our stay.

It was a good experience with Maple residency rooms were clean and neat. Hospitality is much appreciated.

So I checked into this hotel for my solo trip to Gangtok and let me tell what a good hosts and the staff are. Amazing food, music and vibe.
Must stay if you want to chill and make new friends.

Rooms were good, and staff was really helpful. Zostel group activities and common spaces are great too.
Only downside is location is not great.

I had a fantastic experience staying at Magellan's The Golden Bridge in Lachung. The location is absolutely stunning, offering breathtaking views that truly capture the beauty of the region.

Staff is straightforward not arrogant. Service is good. Food is also nice. Room quality is also quite good and view from the hotel room is osm.

If you’re visiting Lachung, Rufina Kunga is one of the best stays you can choose, mainly because of its strategic location.

It is the best hotel with best view I’m extremely grateful to this hotel and their wonderful staff.

Best Hotel in Upper Pelling. At the Centre of Upper Pelling and opposite to Police Station. We choose this hotel by physical surveying among other nearby hotels but our choice was the best.

I had visited Gangtok with my family in mid-May and stayed at this hotel. I booked 2 rooms for 4 people for 3 nights. We had taken a double bedroom including a single bed in both rooms (1st floor).

Hotal is best place in gangtok. Staff is very careful.

We had a wonderful stay here. As a tourist from Nepal, I already felt that Sikkim would be a welcoming place, and this hotel made the experience even better.

Service was good, staff really helpful especially Deep & Bunty, breakfast was also very delicious, Aloo Paratha bestest.
However, rooms need an upgrade.

The rooms are super comfy, clean and hygienic. The hotel is newly built and location is 10-15 min walk from Mall road. The view from room is awesome.
Only I Found little bit problem in breakfast.

From the moment of arrival, the first thing to notice about the place was the excellent location, it required guests to walk only a very short distance to reach mg marg.
