Valmere Himalayan Hotel

We had a wonderful stay at Mount Himalayan Hotel in Gangtok. The receptionist Arpana was extremely polite, helpful, and welcoming throughout our stay. She treated us with great care and made us feel comfortable from the moment we arrived. Her behavior, professionalism, and positive attitude truly made our experience even better. Thank you for the excellent hospitality. We would definitely love to visit again!

The rooms are just beside the highway and to my surprise the owners have not made it immune to the constant sound of vehicle on road. So if you are looking for sound sleep than this constant noise from road will take all your patience. To the surprise even if the television is played in the sunsequent room than the sound will come to your room. The rooms are zero sound proof. The rooms are very old design.

Loved my time at this hotel! The team working there is super nice and helpful. Also, the food is amazing—honestly, some of the best I've had at a hotel! If you are looking for a relaxing place with great service and great bites, this is the spot in Gangtok.

This place is almost 5km away from Mg marg which is the city centre. If there's traffic almost 45 mins to reach Mg marg. Though shuttle taxis available @ 50 per pax. The views from balcony room is stunning. The romms are clean and staffs are very courteous. The food is awsome! There's is ceiling fan, which is rare in gangtok but with global warming scenario, it's much needed. Over all the stay was very pleasant here!

Decent stay, but nothing special:-
Stayed at Mount Himalaya Hotel & Spa, Gangtok last nihht. It’s an OK hotel overall. Rooms are very basic and casual — clean but nothing memorable. Didn’t really get a good vibe from the place. Food was average in taste but felt overpriced for what’s served. Staff was polite though. What raised my eyebrow was dogs sleeping in the reception. My room 304 was not getting locked. No security at all. If you’re looking for just a place to crash after sightseeing, it works. But don’t expect luxury or great ambiance. 3/5

Very pleasant stay at Mount Himalayan Hotel. The rooms were very spacious and tidy. Staff were professional well trained and cordial. Restaurant is having good ambiance and the food exceptional in quality. The balcony provide us an overwhelming view of the mountain valley hills and human inhabitations. The view is panoramic and we enjoyed every moment of the stay in the hotel.

I stayed at Mount Himalayan Hotels in Gangtok for 4 nights with my family of 5, and we had a great experience. The rooms were comfortable and clean, and the mountain view from our balcony was absolutely amazing. For the first 2 nights we had 2 separate rooms, and for the last 2 nights we switched to the family room, which comfortably accommodated all 5 of us with the double decker setup.
The service was prompt and the staff were courteous throughout our stay. Breakfast had good variety and tasted fresh, though a few items finished a bit early on some days. Overall, it was a comfortable and relaxing stay with excellent views and good hospitality. I’d recommend it for families visiting Gangtok.

We had a very good experience staying in Mount Himalayan hotel. Staff was very courteous and food delicious. Arpana at reception was very polite and prompt to provide all the requirements.
It was my birthday and staff made it special by decorating room with flowers and balloons n cake. Of course thanks to my hubby.

The Hotel is nice with good location and view also have the facilities like 5 star hotel and the staffs are so polite and helpful. Good to go for booking if anyone want to visit sikkim.

Overall a nice property, rooms are good with balcony, view around is nice. Directly connected with main road for easy access for transfer. The Food is average.

The rooms can be in better condition (not as the photos on their page) the booked rooms were not given to us, we had to compensate with other.

I stayed here for one night with our family and had a really pleasant experience overall. The room was clean, comfortable, and spacious enough for our family, and the beds were especially comfortable.
The hotel itself was quiet and well maintained. I specially like their home like food.
I would definitely consider staying here again and would recommend it to other families looking for a comfortable and convenient place to stay. I’m.

Stayed there for 2 nights 10 and 11 Dec. Staff were super friendly. Enjoyed my stay.
Wouldn't mind at all to stay here again if I'm coming back to Gangtok.

Stays for 3 night. Hotel is very nice. Food is delicious. Recommended to stay here. Just outside main city. But local taxies are available. Miss. Arpana from check in desk helped us for fast and smooth check in.
