This 3star hotel is so embarrassing and their staff also don't have manner I had never seen this types of hotel, staff, service etc.

The hotel is well located and the stay is the property is value for money. The staff is very courteous and professional. The quality of rooms and linen is superb. The hotel restaurants provide best of food and spread of food is lavish. A memorable stay and would love to come back again. Will like to mention names of gm ganeshshayam he is very much responsible gm I ever seen within a month he changed a lots of things and house keeping staff also very awesome.

Very fast service Mr. Tshring helpfull person all staff rating 100% discipline maintain and I inform all my friends circle to this Tarcon Hotel best in gangtok we rejected another lodge and stay here. Do not trust paid reviews. There were 12 of us in our group. The worst experience we ever had from any hospitality business. We paid more than the price mentioned in the websites. But they never mentioned that they are not providing non veg. They were not even ready to make an omelet for us. The rooms were not arranged. The towels and bedsheets were not clean. They blamed the laundry department for that. Enough soaps were not provided. The staff were not friendly enough. Coffee and tea were not provided in the rooms. TV wasn't working and they didn't even keep the remote in the rooms. The water heater was not working in the room. They don't mind anything other than receiving payment. Absolutely destroyed our vacation…

How do they call it 3 star hotel. Worst ever experience as a traveller. No proper services. They didn't even provide enough tea and coffee in the room. Soap was not provided. TV channels are is not activated. No non veg and they don't inform about the restrictions before. Super expensive because they want only money. I made the biggest blunder of the millennium by booking here. The staff and management are least bothered about our queries and complaints. We had to go out to have non veg food. And there is no punctuality in providing the buffet. Don't expect more than rice, dhal and aloo in the menu. The towels were dirty and they blame the laundry for that. Bed sheets and pillow covers were not changed. This hotel the example that even authorities doesn't care about how a 3 star hotel does hospitality in the state. Don't believe in the paid reviews.

Rooms were spacious, comfortable, warm and clean. The establishment is situated next to the main road with easy access to taxis. Just a short walk from MG Marg. The restaurant provided simple but tasty food. The view of the hills and valleys from the hotel made it a great place to stay.

Great place for tourists to stay. Rooms are very neat and clean. Delicious and palatable foods available in restaurant to enjoy. Staff service is excellent.

The property is at the best location in Gangtok. Rooms are also nice and well maintained. But with less staff they were not able to provide any of the basic requirements. Tea bags and sugar could not be provided in all rooms even after asking (We had checked in to three rooms). A very poor restaurent. In the complementary breakfast very few items (bread/poori) was provided. Even milk or fruites were not available. In MA plan for dinner they could provide only one item along with roti (one mixed veg for vegetarians and chicken curry for non-veg)

The rooms are a clean and tidy. And the service is also good but it's on demand. Location and view is great but needs room needs some better windows to enjoy the complete nature. A bit of better dining table would help it to achieve a 5 star rating. Overall it's a decent hotel for stay.

Would not recommend, bad hospitality.

If you are planning a trip to Gangtok and looking for best places to stay then… this is it.
Rooms and other amenities are far better than OYO rooms or other hotels. This hotel is 10 mins from MG Marg and just beside the Nathula/Changu car stand. Also as this hotel is on the upside of the hill, the view from the hotel is awesome. Stayed there for 3 days and had an awesome experience.
