I would definitely recommend this place.
This is a guest house but it is more like a heritage property. It is a steal deal.
The manager Pranay goes out of his way to accommodate the guest.
Food is reasonable, homely and tasty.
Staff is also very courteous.

We loved our stay here! It's called Guesthouse but it's a heritage property and has all amenities you'd expect from a 3 star.
Mr Pranay (manager) goes out of his way to make the guests comfortable and we really appreciate that.
We had to make a last minute unreasonable request due to unavoidable circumstances, but Mr Sahil (from central team) still accommodated it for which we are very grateful.
Special thanks to Aniket who greated us every morning with a big smile on his face and was readily available to help us out for all our needs.

The location was great. The food was great, they have even prepared us the food on request for toddlers. They were very flexible and tended all our needs. The service was great. We had an excellent view from our room on mountain ranges.

Recently had the pleasure of staying at the Mintokling in Gangtok. Overall, it was a fantastic experience. We booked a deluxe room. The room itself was spacious and comfortable, providing a pleasant stay. The bathroom was also well-maintained and of high quality.
The hotel provided superb service and hospitality throughout our stay. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, ensuring that all our needs were met promptly. The room service was also good. The hotel truly lives up to its star rating.
One of the highlights of our stay was the food. The quality was top-notch, and there was ample variety available for both vegetarian and non-vegetarian preferences. We thoroughly enjoyed every meal we had at the hotel.

I went to Gangtok with my entire family for 4-5 days. We took 3 rooms at Mintokling. All the rooms had a fantastic view of the lawn. The have a beautiful entrance leading down to the guest house. The path way is lined with lovely plants. It gives to the feeling of being in a jungle retreat in the heart of the city. The owners have maintained a beautiful garden with seasonal flowers. On a clear day one can see the mountain peaks from the garden. The rooms are simple and neat clean. The service was very good and prompt. The staff is extremely warm and welcoming. An additional bonus is that even Zomato delivers to this location. It is just a 10 minute walk from the main market. You easily get cabs from here. The only thing to keep in mind in case you are traveling with elderly people is that one has to walk about 15 odd steps from the entrance to the rooms. The kitchen of the guest house was not fully functional during our stay so we mostly ate out. Overall it was a wonderful stay and I would definitely stay here again.

I had an incredible stay at Mintokling Guest House in Sikkim. The location is breathtaking, nestled amidst the serene mountains with stunning views all around. The staff was exceptionally warm and welcoming, making me feel at home from the moment I arrived.
The rooms were clean, cozy, and well-maintained, providing a comfortable retreat after a day of exploring the beautiful surroundings. The food served was not only delicious but also showcased the local flavors of Sikkim.
I would highly recommend Mintokling Guest House to anyone looking for a peaceful, rejuvenating, and authentic Sikkimese experience. I can’t wait to return!

Excellent stay with good food, clean and large rooms.

At walking distance from MG road and yet in a peaceful area. Very good room service by Montu. Beautiful valley and mountain view from Room window. Green lawns to relax. Elegantly decorated spacious room with all necessary amenities. Would definitely like to recommend and return for stay whenever at Gangtok.
