Had stayed over for a night, and I must say, the property is beautiful. The cottages and the main building are claimed to be 80–100 years old, and it was fascinating to see a structure still standing tall even now.
More than anything else, the hospitality was top-tier—especially from the manager, Mr. Baichung, who coordinated everything, was very polite, and took great care of us.
A must-visit if you love the perfect juxtaposition of modern facilities with an antique touch.

This place offers a beautiful location with scenic views, making it an ideal retreat for families. The property is spacious and cozy, providing ample space for children to play. The swimming pool adds a refreshing touch, while the food is delightful, enhancing the overall comfort of the stay. The new management team, led by Amit and team, ensures professional staff behavior and a warm, inviting atmosphere for guests.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Martam Village Resort, and I must say—it was a truly refreshing experience! The location is absolutely beautiful, nestled in the serene hills with breathtaking views that instantly put you at ease.
Our room had a gorgeous view of the valley, and the entire property is spacious, making it ideal for families and kids to relax and enjoy. There’s plenty of room to explore and unwind without feeling crowded.
A special mention to the new management team – Amit and Srimanta – who are just starting their journey here. Their passion and dedication are already making a positive impact. The staff under their leadership is professional, courteous, and attentive to every detail.

I had a truly wonderful stay at Martam Village Resort! Nestled in the serene hills of East Sikkim, the resort offers breathtaking views of terraced paddy fields and the majestic Himalayan ranges. The cottages are beautifully designed with traditional Sikkimese architecture, blending local culture with comfort and cleanliness. 🤗🥰🥰
The staff was incredibly warm, polite, and attentive — always ready to help with a smile. The food was delicious, featuring local organic ingredients and homestyle flavors that added to the authentic village experience. It felt peaceful, refreshing, and far removed from the chaos of city life😊😊😍

Despite the stunning natural surroundings my overall experience was extremely disappointing. As an in-house guest, I was shocked by the lack of basic hospitality. I had to wait over 4 hours just to be served a pathetic meal that wasn’t worth the wait. What made it worse was seeing another group clearly close to the owner being served promptly while the rest of us were ignored.
The property suffers from poor management, lack of basic amenities, and clear favouritism. Definitely not worth the time or money until they seriously improve their service and attitude.
