Evara Heights

Absolutely the best experience ever! The hotel was wonderful, with perfect ambience and service. It is located just a 5-minute walk from MG Marg on Kazi Road (for taxis, just say 'Evara Heights, opposite the Power Department' but be aware during peak season they charge extra to go to Kazi Road). The rooms are well maintained and clean. The overall hotel ambience is very quiet and soothing with well thought lightings. The staff were incredibly polite and welcoming throughout our stay.
Their pure-veg restaurant, Ahaar, serves delicious food—shoutout to the chef, who is easily the best in Gangtok!
Extra special thanks to the amazing team:
Ms. Deepa: Went above and beyond, even working after hours to help us extend our reservation during peak season.
Ms. Roshni & Ms. Hema: Incredibly attentive with exceptional restaurant service, always greeting us with warm smiles.
Their dedication made our trip unforgettable. Highly recommended value for money property, and we can't wait to visit again!

We arrived at Evara Heights, Gangtok on the night of the 16th of February. We spent a very nice three days there. Hotel's interior is so adorable and attractive. The hotel is very beautiful, clean and homely. The food in the hotel is also pure vegetarian and food was so delicious. The staff there is also very friendly. There are two female staff members, Hema and Roshni. These both are very cute, funny and nice and they gave us very good service. The hotel is fully AC/Heater centralized. If I will visit to Gangtok again, I'll definitely prefer that hotel again. That hotel is highly recommended.
Also their was stairs beside the hotel entry towards MG market.
Thank you so much for the staff of the hotel.

This is a newly built hotel near mg marg. Good food and comfortable rooms. Go for valley view rooms as it has a bigger room size and a balcony facing the mountains. Stayed for 3 nights.

Highly recommended for the hotel.
The staffs were so helpful and the service is just great.
Shoutout to Raju and Deepa for all the help.
Will surely be here again next time.

The property location is very good. Only 100 meters from mg road. The hotel ambience is awesome and rooms are luxurious with affordable pricing. We booked room with breakfast and taste was good. The staff is very cooperative. We have a great experience with evara heights.

I stayed here for two days and had a really great experience. The rooms were clean, the staff was friendly, and the service was quick. The food was delicious and my stay was very comfortable. Highly recommended!

Excellent Rooms, great service, MG Marg is hardly a 3 minute descent.
The rooms, bathroom, linens, appliances were all clean and working.
The staff were extremely polite and helpful.
I stayed for 8 nights and it was absolute value for money.
You can even get views of the mountains.
Amazing stay.

I stayed in this hotel for 4 days opting for mountain view and city view rooms.
I was disappointed with mountain view room as there is right another building in front. Only premium mountain view rooms gets clear view.
Apart from this the cleanliness, hotel staff, hotel location and specially the dining staff are excellent. The hotel is on the road so all rooms with city view are noisy due to frequent honking of vehicles. The city view rooms are eye level to the sikkim power dept so you cant draw curtains which is a drawback.
This hotel is walkable from mg marg but expect steep walk which is tiring and I noticed the road are empty with no to very limited street lights.
The hotel serves veg food only and the taste was good.
The hotel is newly built so you will enjoy your stay here in budget.

We visited this hotel with family friends. Rooms are clean and neat, room service is really good. Veg Food is also good.
Overall experience is good.

Excellent Stay with Exceptional Hospitality in Gangtok.
Our stay at the hotel in Gangtok was an absolute delight! The hospitality and service truly made our trip memorable. A special mention goes to Mr. Mahesh Deep Parojali from the management he was extremely friendly, approachable, and went out of his way to guide us to the best places to visit in and around Gangtok. His local insights and helpful nature added so much value to our experience.
The staff were equally impressive — well-trained, courteous, and always ready to assist with a smile. Every interaction reflected genuine warmth and professionalism.
The rooms were clean and comfortable, offering beautiful views, and the food was delicious with a variety of local and continental options. The hotel’s peaceful location made it the perfect place to quite and relaxing after a day of sightseeing yet close walkable distance to MG Marg.
Overall, a perfect blend of comfort, hospitality, and local charm. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Gangtok.
