Mayfair Rourkela

We have stayed at this property several times, and it always delivers a wonderful, homely vibe. The staff is consistently amazing, but the real icing on the cake is the food—everything on the menu tastes incredible. A special mention to Santosh and Ashish for their outstanding hospitality and for taking such great care of us!

I had a very pleasant stay at Mayfair Rourkela. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained.
One of the highlights of my stay was the breakfast — it was fresh, delicious, and had a good variety to choose from.
What truly made the experience special was the staff. A big thanks to Jithendra, Akshya, Lalitha, Bharathi, and Sathya for their warm hospitality and excellent service. They were always attentive, polite, and ready to help, which made the stay even more comfortable.
Overall, a great experience. I would definitely recommend this hotel and look forward to visiting again.

Good service on request. My room AC was not working. They alloted me nearby room. Welcome drink was not there, but they kept water bottles in the room. Snacks and beverages were provided on request. Rooms are beside railway track. You can have the feeling of sleeping at AC railway platform with all amenities.

Regularly visit Mayfare Super Snax. Today visited with family enjoy Doda, banydosa and onion uttapam and taken two plates Papari Chat parcel but masala of papari chat was not fresh and chatni and curd provided was having bad odour as that was not fresh. I am very much found of Super Snax but this was my first dissatisfaction in my experience of more then thirty years…

It's has a very surprising location as far as nearness to conveyance is concerned. Located in Panposh market.
It a has great serene atmosphere which justifies it calling a resort.
Rooms are real spacious and well designed. I stayed in Deluxe rooms.
At this price point the resort is worth every penny. It's a value for money.
Staff are good and well behaved. They take real care of maintaining cleanliness round the clock.
It has nearness to railway tracks, it's the only thing which breaks the calmness but I must admit the sound of train passing by was never a noise for me, people can definitely have a difference of opinion.
It has a nice and well maintained pool. It has gym, billiards table.

Excellent hospitality and beautiful property. Food quality was amazing and the service was prompt. One of the best hotels in Rourkela. Highly recommended!

MAYFAIR Rourkela offers comfort, luxury, and great service all in one place. Peaceful environment, well-maintained rooms, and very courteous staff. Would love to visit again.

Very good ambience. Prompt housekeeping staff response. Buffet breakfast is average. Buffet dinner especially on occasions are excellent. Behavior of staffs are very good. In prime location at center of city of Rourkela.

Excellent stay. Well attended by Mr Abhiroop and Santosh from housekeeping. Breakfast had lot of varities. Place is well located in the city.

Great location. You may not find any market or vehicles around but thanks to Ola, uber, rapido, it’s convenient. It’s literally beside the airport and 10 mins drive to the railway station. It’s also in a great silent spot. Peaceful property I would say. Comfy, spacious and even the layout was good. But the room felt it needed a bit more insulation or maybe a room heater during the peak winters of rourkela. We paid nearby 3k for a double sharing suite which is quite a good price in terms of a 3 star facility. Everything was clean and hygienic. Food quality was also okay. Service was good.

Heritage building, well maintained. Food is marvellous. Lobby Manager Jyoti assisted in changing rooms because a railway track goes past some rooms causing occasional noise. Appreciate the quick change of rooms. All the best.

First of all, if you are planning to stay there, be aware that there is construction going on. So depending on where they put you, it can be noisy, lot of dust and workers using the same set of stairs as you are.
Second — there is no elevators, so if you get a room on higher floors, there are lot of stairs to navigate.
Third and final one — its very close to the railway tracks. You can hear the train honks all night!
We reached there after a long travel and were put next to the construction area, which we didnt like. Thankfully they put us on another room which was away from it. Wish they had done that before me complaining about it.
Staff is friendly. Services are prompt. We tried room dining — it was really amazing and delicious.
Next time I have to try their other newer property near the hockey stadium. This property did not seem to be that relaxing to me.

Excellent hospitality. Restaurant team comprising of Shri Rakesh Das, Shri Surya, Shri Akshay Kumar Jena, Shri Pankaj, Shri Bhakta, Mrs Bharati and Miss Lalita, Shri Manas are very polite, obedient and hard working.

I had a comfortable two-night stay at Mayfair Rourkela. The resort/hotel is conveniently located, and offers clean well-appointed rooms. This particular property may come across as less opulently furnished or decorated when compared to the same brand's many other properties, it still offers exceptional service quality at par with Mayfair standards.

Have been visiting Rourkela once every year, and the Mayfair restaurant has always been one of my regular stops. The food continues to be good, with a wide variety on the menu catering to different tastes. The ambience too is pleasant, offering a comfortable and relaxed dining atmosphere. However, the biggest and most consistent disappointment has been the service speed. Over the years, it has gone from slow to painfully sluggish. Be prepared to wait for hours before your food arrives, even for simple orders. The staff seems indifferent, with an attitude that long waiting times are just normal. Sadly, this decline in service quality has become more noticeable with each visit. Overall, while the food and ambience are commendable, the extremely slow service overshadows the experience. Mayfair Rourkela needs to seriously improve its restaurant service standards to match the quality of its food and reputation.
