Location of the hotel is definitely good as it's away from the rush presently. The rooms are ok, but most of the balconies Don't have a nice view. All other amenities and the ambience are fine. Parking is too far away from the entrance, so if you haven't taken your driver then…

Good overall experience. The atmosphere is ethnic along with a sense of serenity. Service is well managed.

The location of this hotel is what I loved most, since it's away from the crowd. There's a deserted beach facing the hotel. The complimentary buffet breakfast is nice. Service was affected due to a booking of a wedding party during our stay. Maintainance could be a bit better. Also, toilets in the rooms do not have ventilation, which is an issue.

Far from the city, so getting a communication to come to the main Puri market is a headache! Though Hotel food is very very good. Swimming Pool is well maintained but not the Hotel Rooms as per other same category Hotels…!

Well invested resort but not maintained. The location will be 6 to 7 kilometres away from puri mandir. Rooms are good but most of appliances are very old. Bathroom is small. We found couple of crawling cockroaches. From outside, the hotel looks great. Food quality is good.

Not a great stay as expected. Old property with old designed rooms. Too far from main Beach area and moreover property is not on beach as shown in pictures, it's not worth staying. Only good thing is staff is courteous and food quality is good. But overall would not recommend.

Hotel is great at reception area and outdoor area. But the inside the rooms it's not up to the mark… I was very happy at the time of check-in at reception, but after entering the room.

Its too far from main location. There is no proper root guide in night. Hospitality is not good.

It is really unfortunate that this hotel is rated as 4 *, poor, bad, worst, worthless are some of the adjective that define the location, Rooms, room service, foods. Rooms do have seepage, filth Not worth a penny.

The room was old and not of quality standard. The AC did not work. Its summertime, how exactly are you suppose to stay in the room? The Staff on the other hand was very courteous and helpful. Food quality was good too. The hotel has a great property, the insides needs urgent renovation.

Beautiful Resort with an amazing view of sea. Rooms are clean and quite big. Resort is very far from main marine drive. And located towards last where there is no lights. Food is little over pricy. There is no restaurant nearby. Swimming pool is quite big. Just relax and sit on the end of resort facing towards beach at night is the best thing. Overall a superb resort.

Very bad in service, rooms are not cleaned, mosquitos, spiders are roaming all over the room and toilet. Break fast option is so cheap and repeats of same food item on next day. I have paid almost 10, 000/ — for a single room for 2 nights are absolutely wastage-the location of the hotel is extreme end and no local auto will drop you there after 7pm-if they agree then they will charge you not less than Rs400/ for single trip.

Excellent property with good service, neat and clean property, have swimming pool for kids and adults, a gym, the view from the hotel to sea is fabulous, it have direct access to the beach and the river delta, have a high ground to see the sunrise and sea, well designed path ways ample amount of parking space good food altogether value for money destination, loved the place by me and my family, will visit again. It have a beach facing location for marriage and other functions, must visit hotel in Puri.

High price, food is okay, location is also okay. A very few staffs are attentive. Pool is wide and enjoyable. Sea is nearby. Bar is available. Rooms are not worthy of what you spend. I would suggest to visit some other place which will be better option.

It was a great experience being there for a week roughly ever things was nice but the room was not cleaned as I thought it would be but all over the experience was nice but not up to the mark.

A good resort avoiding the hustle bustle of the main town. Rooms are not maintained. Be selective for rooms. Beach is quite a bit of walking.

Beautiful but very far from city. They say that it's a beach front hotel but the beach is very dirty here and also it is too lonely. The best part is hotel's swimming pool and food.

Don't feel like giving any star to this resort. Staff is of no use. A/C not working in the main lobby. Staff not at all co-operative they are only worried about money. Will suggest not to book thus resort in free also.

Chariot room service and infrastructure inside room is ok and not up to the mark of 4 star.

I liked the way they served food. Didn't had any problem with the rooms. But in the middle of the night there is leakage from the ceiling and electricity cut.

Rooms are not well maintained but the property is good. Location is a bit awkward and without your own conveyance it is a bit inconvinient. Pool is good and food is moderaely fine.

It's not worth the price you pay, completely in outskirts and the way to beach is a dirty road with sewarage water and you have to walk a lot. Bathroom in rooms are horrible and you have to call room service for very small thing even for towel.

Service is wonderful. Everywhere is super clean! The water in the swimming pool is crystal clear. The price is very high but it is worth it. Also the ocean is right in front of you! Always at your service, Expert in Puri (hotel, restaurants, etc. )

It's a good place to spend your vacation though a bit far off from the Temple and the local market. But has a good swimming pool and the view is very scenic and lovely. It also has a restaurant and bar. You want to spend some quality peaceful time with your family this should be a good choice unless you want to roam in the local market in the evenings and take a stroll near Swargadwar.

Beautiful and huge resort with all facilities. It is located right at beach but far from main town and market. If you enjoy roadside shopping and markets, this isn't the right place to stay. Those who enjoy being away from crowd this is the right place. The restaurant is expensive though.

Awesome hotel… clean and star quality… great interior… there are swimming pool also. In the room every basic is available with all modern features like geyser, tv, telephone, study table, kitchen table, wardrobe storgae etc. But Hotel is too far from main market. Rickshaw /auto rickshaw doesn't want to go their for being too much far. You have to hire s private/hotel car to go to market and come back to hotel. But hotel is excellent. I liked the hotel too much. There are private beach also in front of hotel.

5 star for property. 2 star for service, incompetent stuffs, poor management. 3 star for foods. Remote location, good for those who have visited puri at least twice.

First the Good part — The hotel looks to be good and property is quite grand. Now the real story — I booked this hotel last week through my company for two — three days weekend with my family. The location is quite far from the main city and actually it is second last hotel towards end of town. All claims of free transportation once during a day to the main city and beach area is bull shit as every time you approach the reception, the standard reply is currently the vehicle is not available. The staff manning the reception is horrible and room service is below par for the price this hotel charges. The inside looks quite lonely and every now and then you will find customers fighting with the hotel staff for the services they promised but not providing. The worst happened on the last day when the manager was shouting on his staff in presence of many customers. Suggestion — Do not go to this hotel unless you have run out of all the possible options.

Very poor service. The hotel is very remote which kind of has pros and cons. If u r there to seek solace… Lie by the sand on the beach by the night… Enjoy the murmur and the breeze… the place is perfect… But if u r there to visit puri…, dont stay there… Once again… awful service.

We checked in the room there was water on the floor. Stink in the room… Ac not working. Staff not responsive. They are least interested as if no one cares… Would not recommend to anyone…

A nice resort to spend your holidays in peace and comfort… very good ambience. Food is delicious… all the staff are cordial and well behaved… would love to visit again.

I with my family stayed at Chariot from 24th December to 27th December 2014 and got the following bitter experience. 1. I deposited Rs. 34000/ — but in spite of my follow up receipt given for only Rs. 31000/ — which lack of transparency and can be regarded as cheater. 2. Deluxe rooms are fully neglected and due attention are not given to the guest for which compelled to switch over to Platinum rooms. 3. People those who are interested exclusively for Jaganath Dashan should not stay there as it is about 8 KM from Mandir. Over all I am not happy with the services of the Chariot and request the tourist to take care of these issues.

A good place for new year celeberation! Enjoyed every bit of it!
