HOTEL SUN CITY

​I stayed at this hotel on 6th Feb to 8th Feb 2026 during my trip to Puri, and unfortunately, it was a very bad experience. I would not recommend this place for the following reasons:
​Location: The hotel is located very far inside, making it quite difficult to reach. It is nowhere near Swargadwar, which is very inconvenient for tourists.
​Room Quality: The rooms were extremely small and in very poor condition. There was hardly any space to move comfortably.
​Service: The staff behavior was not professional at all. They were unhelpful and did not care about the guests' needs.
​Room Service: The room service was very slow. They never showed up on time, even after multiple requests.
​Overall, it was a waste of money. If you are looking for a comfortable stay near the beach or Swargadwar, please look for other options.

I had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. The management team is excellent—very supportive and helpful throughout my visit. The beach is nearby, and transportation is also easily available, which made everything very convenient.
The food at the restaurant is amazing, especially the crab thali. The Chinese dishes and veg thalis are also very delicious.
I would highly recommend staying here whenever you visit Puri. Thank you to the entire management team for making my 6-day stay so comfortable and homely.

Hotel room is not as good as it looks in the image. Few hotel staffs are good however most people are not much responsive. Room amenities mentioned in all the booking websites are not available in the rooms. The only plus point is that the hotel is at walking distance from sea beach.

My experience was good while I stay here. I have been here in shivratri and get a good home type puja vibes. My only concern is not a problem balcony. Staff are super friendly. Love this place may visit again 😁

Best experience in puri. Staff was very helpful.
Price per person for a day was around 500-600 rs which is very much budget friendly. They even allowed us to keep our bag at reception for a while and use a room for an hour for free after checkout to refresh before moving ahead on our journey. It is on 400 m walk from beach and at very amazing location as that portion of beach was less crowded. Staff even arranged an auto till jagannath temple at discounted rate. Food was also really amazing. I really loved staying here. I recommend everyone to stay here and enjoy puri.

Visited Puri very recently with family to offer prayer to LORD JAGANNATH and stayed at this hotel for 3nights. The Temple and the sea beach are not far away from this hotel. Wonderful management, very cooperative. Towards guiding the tourists. The staff of the restaurant are very attentive, perform quickly and neatly. The prepared food tastes so good that it resembles home atmosphere. Peaceful atmosphere prevails for all the time. Room is well-furnished. Charges appear to be reasonable. The experience, gathered there, was very amazing.

Stayed here for 4 nights with family. All the staff members' behavior is excellent. The food served in their Restaurant is just alike homemade food. Special thanks to Mr Mithun & Mr Ankur from Manager's desk and Madam & Mr Sayan from Restaurant.

I had a wonderful stay — the hotel staff genuinely made the experience special. From check-in to check-out, the team was friendly, professional, and always ready to help with a smile. They went above and beyond when I asked for local restaurant recommendations and even assisted with extra luggage storage after check-out.

I stayed at this hotel in Puri for 3 days, and the experience was amazing. All the staff members were polite, helpful, and very understanding. The pricing is also quite affordable.
I stayed here with my two female friends, and we felt completely comfortable and safe throughout our stay. If you’re confused and searching multiple options, don’t waste your time—close your eyes and book this place. You can thank me later!

I really loved the staffs. I am way more than satisfied. Specially Vishnu who has taken care of my pet dog Smiley the most. Everyone is so welcoming and made me feel like my own family. Food is more than tasty. Ekdum ghar jaisa khana… I love you all. Will keep coming.

We have booked 2 room for 2 days the image and the picture which they have shown us is completely different from what we have seen. These kind of damp rooms they have provided. This such a bad experience.

Luxurious and clean rooms with great facilities. Nice behaviour from all the staff members. An awesome hotel for those residing close to Puri Jagannath Temple.

I stayed in this hotel for 4 days. Staffs behaviour are very good Rooms are clean they daily clean the room and change the bedsheets. Receptionist behaviour is also good they will hear every problem and they solved it.
Food is also good you will get many options from thalis to ala carte.
They also give the pet food daily.
If you are searching for the pet friendly hotel in puri then this will be very helpful for you because from hotel to beach distance is only 3-4 mins walking distance.
In our entire stay our fur baby is very happy to stay there beacuse he get loved from hotel staffs.

Excellent Stay at Hotel Suncity Puri!
I recently stayed at Hotel Suncity Puri, located near Gourbadsahi Road, just a 3-minute walk from the beach. It was a wonderful experience from start to finish.
The rooms were very well maintained, clean, and spacious — perfect for a comfortable and relaxing stay. Each room also had a balcony, which added to the overall charm and provided a pleasant space to unwind. The air conditioning worked excellently, which was much appreciated in the coastal weather.
The food served was of great quality, and the staff was incredibly courteous, helpful, and professional. Special mention to the manager, Mithun, who followed up with us before check-in to ensure everything was in order — a thoughtful gesture that set the tone for a great stay.
Overall, I highly recommend Hotel Suncity Puri for anyone looking for a peaceful, clean, and convenient place to stay near the beach.

If you have a pet then this hotel is the best. Even if you don't have pet then also this is the best hotel in puri as the staffs are so well behaved, soft spoken and obviously the foods are yummy! I really liked this hotel. Sea beach from this hotel is approximately 3-4 minutes walking distance. Thank you @Suncity for your service towards us and giving your love to my baby Liza.
