Visited Puri very recently with family to offer prayer to LORD JAGANNATH and stayed at this hotel for 3nights. The Temple and the sea beach are not far away from this hotel. Wonderful management, very cooperative. Towards guiding the tourists. The staff of the restaurant are very attentive, perform quickly and neatly. The prepared food tastes so good that it resembles home atmosphere. Peaceful atmosphere prevails for all the time. Room is well-furnished. Charges appear to be reasonable. The experience, gathered there, was very amazing.

Stayed here for 4 nights with family. All the staff members' behavior is excellent. The food served in their Restaurant is just alike homemade food. Special thanks to Mr Mithun & Mr Ankur from Manager's desk and Madam & Mr Sayan from Restaurant.

I had a wonderful stay — the hotel staff genuinely made the experience special. From check-in to check-out, the team was friendly, professional, and always ready to help with a smile. They went above and beyond when I asked for local restaurant recommendations and even assisted with extra luggage storage after check-out.

I stayed at this hotel in Puri for 3 days, and the experience was amazing. All the staff members were polite, helpful, and very understanding. The pricing is also quite affordable.
I stayed here with my two female friends, and we felt completely comfortable and safe throughout our stay. If you’re confused and searching multiple options, don’t waste your time—close your eyes and book this place. You can thank me later!

We have booked 2 room for 2 days the image and the picture which they have shown us is completely different from what we have seen. These kind of damp rooms they have provided. This such a bad experience.

Luxurious and clean rooms with great facilities. Nice behaviour from all the staff members. An awesome hotel for those residing close to Puri Jagannath Temple.

I stayed in this hotel for 4 days. Staffs behaviour are very good Rooms are clean they daily clean the room and change the bedsheets. Receptionist behaviour is also good they will hear every problem and they solved it.
Food is also good you will get many options from thalis to ala carte.
They also give the pet food daily.
If you are searching for the pet friendly hotel in puri then this will be very helpful for you because from hotel to beach distance is only 3-4 mins walking distance.
In our entire stay our fur baby is very happy to stay there beacuse he get loved from hotel staffs.

Excellent Stay at Hotel Suncity Puri!
I recently stayed at Hotel Suncity Puri, located near Gourbadsahi Road, just a 3-minute walk from the beach. It was a wonderful experience from start to finish.
The rooms were very well maintained, clean, and spacious — perfect for a comfortable and relaxing stay. Each room also had a balcony, which added to the overall charm and provided a pleasant space to unwind. The air conditioning worked excellently, which was much appreciated in the coastal weather.
The food served was of great quality, and the staff was incredibly courteous, helpful, and professional. Special mention to the manager, Mithun, who followed up with us before check-in to ensure everything was in order — a thoughtful gesture that set the tone for a great stay.
Overall, I highly recommend Hotel Suncity Puri for anyone looking for a peaceful, clean, and convenient place to stay near the beach.

If you have a pet then this hotel is the best. Even if you don't have pet then also this is the best hotel in puri as the staffs are so well behaved, soft spoken and obviously the foods are yummy! I really liked this hotel. Sea beach from this hotel is approximately 3-4 minutes walking distance. Thank you @Suncity for your service towards us and giving your love to my baby Liza.

It is a nice hotel to stay in but the rooms were small. This hotel is nearly 2 km away from the Jagannath Temple and 1 km away from the golden beach. It has a balcony but nothing to see outside. But yeah outside of this hotel there are many stores restaurants and more. Even the hotel has its own restaurant in it. But yeah one another problem is that you have to eat your food on time for example breakfast lunch and dinner.

Hotel SunCity Puri has Good value and, an excellent beach location. Clean, basic rooms, helpful staff. Ideal for budget travelers seeking beach proximity.
Don't believe everything you read on the internet about this hotel. I have not faced any problems during my stay at this place, however, their only drawback is the ground floor rooms. There is no mobile network, not even a single tick. However, their WI-FI was working fine.

Clean and well maintained rooms. Excellent service. The staff was nice, they extended my check out time too. The food is their restaurant is also super good.

The hotel is 5 to 7 mins walking distance from sea beach. Staff behavior is very good. Room is quiet spacious and AC is working fine and washroom is also neat and clean. Food is also good and they have thali in their menu and highly recommended.
At one glance, the hotel is great and staff behavior is very very good and highly recommended for a good stay.

This hotel has a very bad state regarding the following things.
1. Cleanliness: the rooms had dirty bedsheets and the bed had gathered a couple of bugs. The bathroom had some sand. This shows they had not cleaned the room at all.
2. Staff: Highly impolite and threatening staff at the reception for everything we requested though the one I had spoken over the phone was polite.
3. Reservation terms: this hotel charged an advance payment of 50% though in booking. Com it clearly mentions full payment at property. Further, they carried out their own reservation and had marked no show in booking. Com on top of everything.
4. Timings: they lock their door between 11pm and 5am which makes it very inconvenient for tourists arriving in wee hours. This is not mentioned in any of the reservation sites. Checkout on booking. Com says between 7:00 to 8:00 but they are hell bent on 7:00.
5. Location: located in a small road where cars are not accessible. If you have heavy bags, walking 200-300m is absolutely necessary.
This is consistent with many other hotels this area. I suggest DO NOT BOOK ANY HOTEL WITHIN 1km RADIUS of this hotel, if you have not been here in the past. The main road facing the sea might be good. Due diligence with locals is necessary before you finalize booking.
