The hotel room was well maintained by the staff, with regular cleaning and timely changing of towels and bedsheets. The washroom was neat and clean, and all necessary items were replenished every day. The restaurant food was excellent, especially the chicken bharta, which was awesome. The terrace was accessible and offered a clear view of the Jagannath Mandir. I had a very pleasant stay. The sea beach is also conveniently located just around 150 meters from the hotel.

The hotel and the room was super clean and looks luxury. The food taste of yum 😋. Especially the staff behaviour was so good and they are so friendly. This is one of the most beautiful hotel I have ever seen. You must not miss this hotel if you visit puri.

Very well managed with polite and helpful staff specially Mr Ponda at Reception. Hotel is located very near beach and temple. Rooms are spacious. The breakfast included in CP plan is very scrumptious and filling. Highly recommend.

We recently hosted a private gathering for 20 guests at Hotel Ambika Palace, and the experience exceeded our expectations. Finding a venue that can handle both a formal event and a comfortable overnight stay for a group is tricky, but this hotel managed it flawlessly.

​The Banquet Space: The hall provided for our 20 guests was the perfect size—intimate yet professional. It didn’t feel "empty" like a massive ballroom, nor was it cramped.
Top-Tier Catering: The food was the highlight of the evening! Serving 20 people simultaneously can be a challenge, but the dishes arrived hot, fresh, and delicious. Our guests specifically raved about the breakfast buffet spread.
Stay Experience:
​Immaculate Rooms: I was pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness. The rooms are spacious, well-ventilated, and the decor feels fresh and modern. The beds are incredibly comfortable, which is exactly what you need after a long day of sightseeing.
​Exceptional Hospitality: The staff deserves a special mention. From the front desk to the housekeeping team, everyone was polite, professional, and went out of their way to ensure our stay was hassle-free.
Seamless Check-in: Coordinating check-ins for a group of 20 can usually be a headache, but the front desk was prepared and had our rooms ready in record time.
Final Verdict: If you are planning a family function, or a private celebration in Puri, Hotel Ambika Palace is a 10/10 choice. They take the stress out of event planning!

If there was a way to give negative stars, I would have given that.
First of all, I had booked the hotel from 24th Jan to 26th Jan, a month before sinceI knew there would be rush during this time.
I had only one criteria that there has to be a dedicated car parking. I enquired about it before booking and they confirmed that they do have car parking. I proceeded further to book the hotel by giving around 20% advance amount, which was Rs. 2400/-.
We reached the hotel at around 6.30pm on 24th Jan. And to our utter dismay, the road to the hotel was a very narrow street which had all kinds of vehicles overflowing in and out. Somehow we reached the hotel. Upon reaching I see that there is no parking area. The hotel stands right in the middle of the narrow street.
I went and enquired at the reception about the parking. He says "we do not have private parking, but we can only accomodate 5 cars at a time on the road, and since its rush time, so its filled. Plz take ur car to the paid parking place at Rs. 200 per night". At first I argued since they cheated by saying that they have parking, once I reached they changed their story. We both were super tired to argue anymore.
We agreed for the paid parking since after covering a car journey of 10 hours, we were exhausted.
The horror just kept expanding. My car could not be stationed near the hotel bcos the street started to honk from every corner.

We had a great 4-day stay at Hotel Ambika Palace, Puri. The hotel is clean, comfortable, and aesthetically pleasing. We booked a 3-bed deluxe room, which was well-equipped with a smart TV, refrigerator, geyser, bedside lamps, and had regular housekeeping.
The complimentary breakfast buffet was good, and the food from the attached restaurant was tasty. The hotel has elevator service, and the staff were polite and very helpful. Due to the gap between our checkout time and train departure, the hotel kindly arranged an additional room for us so we could wait comfortably with our luggage.
Overall it was a pleasant and hassle-free stay. Highly recommended.

I had an excellent experience at this hotel (25th Dec to 27th Dec). The room was spacious and luxurious, offering great comfort. The staff were professional, polite, and always ready to help, which made the stay even more enjoyable. The location is unbeatable—just steps away from the sea beach, making it ideal for relaxation and scenic views. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a premium stay by the coast. Complementary breakfast is the best experience at this hotel.

I booked this hotel for 1 day and 1 night. The hotel staff is very humble and cooperative. I went the hotel at 5:00 AM bor checking however officially check-in time was 10:00 AM but they did not asked me extra money for early checkin and accepted my request so humbly. It was wife’s birthday occasion and then also helped me to surprise my wife with wonderful room decoration. I am very grateful to Mr Bijoy who done his job tremendously.

The restaurant service was the only reason we continued staying at this hotel. Chef Amit Maharana was outstanding, and the stewards Jaganath, Somya, and Santosh were very kind and helpful. However, the room service and reception were a big disappointment — slow responses and even providing dirty bedsheets and towels. Overall, amazing restaurant team but very poor management from the Housekeeping and Reception Desk. A receptionist lady Deepanjana disappointed us the most cuz she was very ignorant and had a don't care attitude.

Had a wonderful stay from 6th Dec to 9th Dec 2025.
Room was very spacious and clean.
Staff was courteous and prompt in service.
Restaurant food was ok, can be improved a bit, but still noting to complain much about.
Location is awesome if you are a beach lover, just 150 meters to the beach.
Parking can be problem if coming by car otherwise no issues at all. But I am sure Hotel can help regarding parking too if called in advance.
Just one small advise, ask cleaning staff not to ring the bell so early in the morning for cleaning as not everyone wakes up early 😊
Overall very nice Hotel, I will choose same hotel if I visit again to Puri.

We stayed in this November in this Hotel. We all liked this place.
We had a pleasant stay here. All staffs are very good and supportive. Food is very good. Complimentary breakfast is superb.
Temple is 15-20 mins walking. You will get auto just outside of the hotel (150 rupees) or with a little walk outside, approximately 100-200 meters (100 rupees). Goldeb Beach is very near by.
Rooms are neat and clean. Room service also very good. We stayed for 4 days there. No issues. 24 hours hot water. It is a safe place to stay.
Narrow passage is not an issue. Car and auto at the same time can be passed. There are other good hotels like Landmark in the same lane.
You might feel service is bit slow but It might be there in many hotels and not a big issue. They cook fresh and serve it hot. Room service is also very good. You need to understand and follow the timings then will not have any issues.
They can work bit on how to reduce outside noise in the hotel rooms, otherwise all excellent stay and service.

The rooms were a little small but clean and tidy. Loved the food in the hotel and also the buffet in the morning. Worth the price.

We stayed five days in premium room given in review. But the actual worst problem is the service. We go for dinner in the basement of this hotel. We also call staff for room service and went for dinner. Our packages and sidebag, trolley are not locked and ₹18500 were there in the sidebag. During room service😡🤬🤯a staff steal ₹3000 from the 👜… And another₹500 from trolley so that we don't get any chance for suspection. Return from trip now we know that a bundle of above money is stolen. 😰😭. The room service is so worst we cannot imagine. From premium room it is been stolen who ever knows. So all don't pay money for this hotel and go it's my request. U go and u will definitely suffer…

We stayed at this hotel during Durga Puja and had an excellent experience! The property has a nice multi-cuisine restaurant — the food is really good. Must try the Murgh Musallam, it’s absolutely delicious!
The hotel also has a lift facility, which makes it convenient for everyone. The staff are very friendly and always ready to help. A special mention to Deepanjana Madam at the front desk — she was extremely helpful and courteous from day one. Also, Jagannath Da, Bichitra Da, and many others made our stay comfortable with their warm hospitality.

Stayed there with my relatives from 28 th September to 30 th September, 2025. The rooms were amazing. Food is good (as per my relatives and my parents, though I didn't like some foods like the dal. It can be because I don't like to consume hotel's dal). Especially Malai Chicken as evening snack.
Cons:-
Asia Cup was going on during that time and the televisions in my room and my relative's room didn't have that channel. They should have kept those set top boxes where Sony Liv channel were present. But, they had TATA play set top boxes, which unfortunately, didn't have Sony Liv channel. This was annoying, for my father and my relatives (not me). And internet connection is quite poor, even their Wi-Fi doesn't work sometimes. Their restaurant is in the basement. There, no signal comes and it's quite impossible to make a phone call or recieve a phone call.
Another cons of this hotel is, they tell their guests to vacate the rooms within 8 am on the day of departure which is annoying. Our Vande Bharat train was at 1:50 pm and we had to vacate the room by 8:00 am (though we got an extra room at 2000 Rs later to keep our luggage and rest for a while, that too, only one room. Well, we have no complaints against that. Atleast they gave us an extra room for keeping our luggage and resting, which is quite kind of them).
Moreover, the experience is good.

The hotel's charges for rooms and food is relatively cheaper than other restaurants but the service and rooms are actually really good, the rooms are clean and spacious, the staff is friendly.

According to me it is one of the best hotel to stay in puri. The rooms are neat and clean & nicely decorated. They are very much concious about the room service. At any time of a day when we call them for any type of help, they respond greatly. The staffs are really very good from heart and very much helpfull. Even if the rooms are empty they permit their guests for early check in.
In single word the hotel is ready to gift the travellers a sweet memory of puri.
Just two — ve points that should be discussed —
1. The hotel has no seaview rooms.
2. The food is little bit costly as per their taste.
But you can ignore the points by enjoying the buffet breakfast of the hotel. It's yummy 😋😋and full of items. The provide approxly 15-20 items in the buffet. You must not miss it.
