Hotel is situated in a beautiful area, but the service of the hotel is very poor. Rooms are not maintained as per their rate. Termites are here and there in room. Sometimes they may attack at the time of sleeping under from your bed. If you order any food from them, have to wait for 3 to 4 hrs. They don't have any proper sea facing room. But have side balcony from where you can see little portion of sea by bending your body from railings. But all time the balcony is overflowed by drainage water of AC. Because, they don't have any proper outlet for AC drainage water. Lack of cleanliness you can see after handover the room & hotel as well. So, please think so many times before booking this hotel from any online booking site. If you can adjust with abovementioned situation then always welcome.

Very very very poor condition, don't call golden dust it is only dust hotel with Food and Staf quality. Railway station is fer better from this hotel. I request to you all of the freinds please don's select this hotel. Room is not as per photo not abelabel any room service all so room clin.

This is the only picture I am sharing in this comment section, the position of this hotel is simply outstanding but the service is almost that much disgusting. Due to management negligence this hotel will lost its name forever. And one thing if they can't arrange a proper breakfast then they must not include in tariff plan as complimentary one, very rough attendants with rough attitudes.

Only good thing about d place is the location. Right in front of the beach. Cleanliness not maintained… food has no variety or taste. Staff is not so bothered.

This is a horrible hotel. You can't call this hotel, it's kind of a low end lodge. No room service, no lift, not beech view, you can just view other buildings. At night power went off. Water was flowing through the corridors. Kitchen was dirty. Attaching few photos. Staff was very rude…

Yes… good ambience when you are sitting at night in front garden… Slow service… Rooms are not so comfortable…

This is a small hotel at new Marin Drive, around 2 Km from Swargadwar. Do not expect much amenities in this hotel. But location wise very good, less crowded beach will is give you full relaxation. Room and food quality of Golden Dust is not so good. No see facing room except room no 305 and A1

Very nice and peaceful hotel with very high positive energy among the staffs. The location was surprisingly quiet and due to which the sound of the waves gave soothing feel to the ears. It is just on the sea beach and away from the pollution. Rooms were decent with sea view from the balcony.

Very poor hotel. When we reached the hotel there was neither a cleaning staff nor manager on the reception. The sofa in the reception was torn. The room we had been provided was not cleaned and was full of dust. Also the deluxe AC room only has a sea view from the balcony. Doesn't have a car parking or proper entrance. Overall very poor experience.

Everything is decent but the rooms are a tad too small. But the beach in front is probably a private one so it's good for enjoying without being bothered.

Worst service ever. This hotel is quite filthy and dirty. The bathrooms has vomit stains and it looked as if the toilet bowls haven't been cleaned properly. Don't spoil your trip by making a reservation here. You will definitely regret it. There is no dedicated parking for cars and you are responsible for any damages to the cars. Better avoid as much as you can.

Near the beach.

Very near to the beach. Small and decent hotel. Food isn't great. The suite offers and excellent view of the sea.

This is not a proper hotel, this is something cheap lodge available near railway station whose per night cost is Rs. 500/-. Great photoshop. They have a policy of full advance which is non refundable. I booked 4 days stay for two rooms and when I reached there rooms were not ready. Then conditions of the rooms disheartened me which forced me to go for other hotel within one and half day. Fan and beds were dirty and full of dirts all over. No geyser, non functional shower etc. Dirty Plastic chairs, damaged sofa (suite). In last option also this hotel should not be chosen.

Good place to stay. From here u can have a good view of ocean.

Very nice hotel with good location. One can hear the sound of the waves from the sea. The private beach was awesome. Food here was fabulous and tasty. Well behaved and friendly staffs. We loved our stay in this hotel very much, thanks for the good service they provided.

Hotel Dust should be proper name. The room and service are horrible, not as per the money spent. Dirty, unhygienic, go down like rooms. They are also cheating the government as they will not give you a tax invoice for the hotel stay. Should be banned for doing business illegally. No GST invoice given.

Its in a good location… the area is clean and calm apart from the rush of the main swargdwar road… but its little bit away from the main market hub… also no proper conveyance facilty is available…

Fantastic stay at the beachfront Hotel Golden Dust. We were very nicely welcomed and was given top floor rooms which had nice sea view. Food here was tasty and they might take some extra bit of cooking time but they serve you fresh food. Our sight seeing were also organised beautifuly by the hotel manager. To end it we had an awesome stay here and plan to revisit this hotel again on our next visit to ours.

Without doubt one of the best hotel we stayed during our vacation in Puri. Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed by the staff. The hotel is very close to Sea and the restaurant is completely Sea facing. The staffs were extremely friendly and helpful, they must deserve special thanks. We had two great evenings there, which obviously also added up to the experience.

Must say that Hotel Golden Dust is a gem of a hotel which is located so close to the sea beach and away from the crowd. This hotel is in the new marine drive road with rooms having balcony from which we could view the sea. The feeling about this hotel was very special because the staffs were very friendly and helpful, which made us feel at home. Here the food is delicious and you get served in the dining space which is completely sea facing, which for us was a pure bliss.

Great Place to stay near the Sea Beach This is a fantastic property, well manged by professional and friendly staff. Rooms are large, cozy and well maintained. Restaurant food is one of the best in the city. Quiet place much suitable for travelling executives. You can stay, work, relax and call it home away from home. Great Hotel, Great Price, managed by Great People.

Excellent stay, very clean hotel. Very good room service and the behaviour of all the staff are very good and all are very helpful. Excellent place to stay very close to the beach and last of all the food is very good. I have stayed many times here every time my feedback is same. The hospitality they provide is way beyond you can expect.

Lucrative Location & Stunning Service at Pocket friendly Price! Hotel is located right next to the beach. Easy to commute for shopping and site seeing. The manager was very caring he hailed us auto every time we wanted for local up downs, he even arranged us a very nice Chilka tour. The hotel is very clean and tidy. Hotel staffs were very friendly. They had a good spread of breakfast. Rooms had nice sea view from the attached balcony. The dining place was also sea facing as the hotel is very close to the sea beach. It was awesome having lunch with eyes on the sea. I would recommend this for anyone who wants to have a comfortable and pleasant stay. We stayed here for 4 days with family during this Summer vacations.

The hotel is good. Not at all bad but the 1st thing dat I would like 2 say is dat it is very unclean & it needs to get cleaner. But it is very gud fr 2 persons. The food quality is also nice. The position also has no problem, but it is situated in a remote area. Very far from swargadwara… So people coming 2 this hotel stay informed dat it is best for spending time in rest. The AC rooms have no geysers… So I would give the hotel 3 stars:) ) )

"A Place to Cherish Your Holiday, Best Value Hotel"
We visited this place on the month of October, 16 luckily we got a room for 3nights. Great place to stay. Rooms were clean and spacious. Staffs were helpful and on service. The food served by their own restaurant was awesome specially bengali & chinese dishes. Most recommended is the "Shukto", "Chingri Malaikari"& "Garlic Chicken"The lawn has a nice place to sit with great ambience created by soft mood lighting and soft background music. In the evening we enjoyed our gossips over coffee and snacks which was indeed splendid and memorable. Overall a nice place to spend your relaxing holidays.

I had visited this hotel during the month of October 2016. The rooms were spacious and comfortable with lovely king size bed. Free parking facilities, free Wi-Fi facilities & free breakfast available. Rooms were clean and tidy with air conditioning, LED TV, mini bar, intercom telephone connection, 24 hrs room service etc. The food of the in-house restaurant was wonderful. The staffs were very helpful and friendly to us. Had a great family stay at this hotel with good food, service and ambiance. Love the fish items they prepare. Its a good hotel to go with your family. Highly recommended beachfront hotel with complete Sea view room.

I'm writing this review and I felt the need to write to warn others of the difficulties that you will face if you stay here. This is the worst place to stay in PURI. We stayed there for 7 days spending around 46, 000 Rs. And had to face a lot of trouble. So our trip wasn't a very happy one because of this. I will state my reasons here why you should avoid this hotel at all cost :- 1) Location is around 1 km away from Swargadwar and you will have to take an auto (which is very hard to find) and will charge you 120 Rs. For 1 way trip. Everytime. There are no food stalls nearby and the area is very secluded. You won't feel that you've come to puri at all.   2) Rooms are smelly. Area is quite dirty and rooms are non-sea facing (side facing) as opposed to what they advertise. Not a hygenic play to stay at all.   3) Bad Food. Extremely High Prices and staff are young boys who don't care of service at all. Lack of proper management will make you feel irritated at all times.   4) GundaRaj. They charge you or your driver while while you are going to visit nearby places. Autowallas doesn't want to visit such a secluded place because of these gundas who take commission at every level.   I hope you don't fall in this trap of good pictures in these online websites and fake reviews I saw of this hotel as I was browsing a while ago. Avoid this at all cost. Enjoy your stay at Puri. Bye.

Nice Budget Hotel with very good quality food. Enjoyed a lot in our 2 day stay at the suite. Must try the suite. Very luxurious experience.

Best Experience with my family. Our stay here was memorable. The Hospitality of the hotel is very nice and their focus to keep their customer happy. The manager was very young and dynamic and he cares for his guests. I really enjoyed and have wonderful experience. Next time whenever I visit Puri will surely Book this hotel again.

The hotel is totally sea facing. Excellent room service. The rooms have good spacing.

1) The hotel offers us Ground floor Rooms, & there is absolutely no room in the total hotel which is sea facing. (if they are right, probably we doesn't know what is the meaning of sea facing room, or we have to learn english language again). General people understand sea facing room means at least one window or balcony in the sea side. There is absolutely no window or balcony in this particular hotel except top floor. 2) Toilets about the hotel. — Like a HELL … All the commodes and Indian style pan have yellow & black spots all over it & having bad smell from it & which is spread all over the room, I bet your child also deny to stay in this room. 3) It so near from the sea, there is every chance to damage your cars from sea tides, if it is not shifted back side of the hotel.

I travelled with my family on 10 november 2015 for 3 nights with my family. The first thing I would like to mention is the prime location just right next to the beach. Check-in was hassle fre, manager was nice and sober. We booked one a. C room and it was at par my expectation as I looked in the website, staffs were helpful and never said no to anything. Service was good, restaurant has full sea view, you can enjoy tasty sea food jus by admiring the beauty of the sea. My room had an attached balcony all rooms have same feature and it had a good side view of the sea. Overall my trip was memorable as I felt that I was at home, never we felt that we are here at an unknown place for the first time… manager guided us all the places to visit and arranged all the trips and that was nice. Overall the service, location and personal attention to each and individuall guest was the main thing. We would surely reccommend this hotel if you like to take a break and enjoy the natures beauty like sunrise from the sea shore. I felt that the beach was mine as the experiance was like a private beach, they provided umbrellas and chairs each time we went to the beach. Thanks golden dust for this amazing holiday.
