Very unsystematic from entrance gate to reception. Broken wooden bridge. Food is good, but room is not yet termite treated. Mixed reactions from me. So so. High priced with less comfort.

Located at a very scenic spot, it’s one good place to relax and rejuvenate. It’s located at a point where the river meets the sea. Food is good! But don’t expect luxurious facilities and even laundry, it’s a eco resort, not a concrete blob.

Awesome place. Cocooned within trees this place is a must stay for people who love nature. Decent food with helpful hotel staff makes the stay worthwhile. Easy and direct access to beach with an available lifeguard makes it a safe place to enjoy the sea.

Very pathetic experience
1. Rooms were very small. It felt very bad to pay such a huge amount for a small room. I could have booked any other 4 star hotel with same price.
2. Dinner was closed by 9.30pm. We were outside during night time. We Told them about 9.15 pm by phone to keep food for us, so that we can take it upon arriving. But they refused.
3. When we were roaming in campus area during night time, their staffs told us to go to room & sleep. What type of behaviour is this man?
4. The food served in dining was of good taste.

The rooms were really nice and clean and comfortable but no accommodation for dining inside the rooms. The staffs were really cooperative and helpful. Amazing place to stay. But after 10 pm, there is no facilities or activities for entertainment. Restaurant inside the resort should to be opened for late night. Complementary breakfast and dinner should to be provided as the room rent is too high.

No seriousness in customer service. Its peak time of the season and being in such a popular tourist spot there was no food available/prepared even at 12.30pm. Staff had no idea when will the food be available and waiting for half n hour, we were informed that it will take 1 more hour to serve food.
Please improve your service please.
Food should be available as not per your convenience but as per customer's convenience. Please have a sincere effort towards making this place a happy place.

Lotus resort is located in a river bay, you can see the ocean and river at the same time. The food served in hotel's restaurant was okay. The river near the hotel was not clean, probably because of flood water. Would recommend everyone to visit the place anytime other than monsoon season.

We had a great stay at Lotus resort. We had a very soothing ayurvedic spa. Beautiful calm and serene place with nature's beauty. Sea beach, a nice eco friendly hut and a delicious food… what else you want.

A very organic-looking resort with hut shaped cottages for rooms and a green scape, the food is the strongest suite of the Lotus Resort. The team of experts prepare the most delicious seafood delights as well as vegetarian dishes. The various sheds complete the awesome dining experience. The view is fine and you have to cross a small canal to reach the beach which is incredibly dirty in this part of the coast. The boating facilities felt superfluous and inefficient mostly.

Beautifully located resort. There are motorboats to take you to the mouth of the river where it meets the sea, but beware of the dupers! Its good to go there during sunrise, for a great view. The resort has been built to just relax inside it and not go anywhere else. There are benches facing the river and sea on many sides. They also have a herbal garden where they grow a variety of medicinal herbs. There are some swings for kids to enjoy a day out. The cottages are very cozy, comfortable and air conditioned. Every cottage has a mini sit-out where you can enjoy the breeze and quiet of the surrounding areas. The complimentary breakfast offers a good spread. Lovely seafood, specially the prawn curry. Try the chilly crispy lamb if you can (based on availability of lamb) Awesome place to go to in winters. We went during Christmas so the resort staff had arranged a bonfire for the guests. We had a great time in front of the fire with the sea breeze and the high tides with the water coming right up to the resort. It is a must visit place in Puri!

Calm, peaceful and serene. The cottages are top class. The service is a bit late but you wouldn't mind that as you will be lost in the beauty of your surroundings. The food is good and the price is a bit higher than mid range. Water sports and camping might be available during a particular season.

The service and the atmosphere is quite good, but if you're here to take your tastebuds on a spin, it'll be a huge disappointment. Rest everything is good, the staff is very kind. But yeah again, you'll have to walk for a few hundred metres after parking your vehicle because there's no road for the vehicles to enter the resort, unless you're on a two wheeler.

Very well located on a backwater/cove and the beach is very calm. Neat, cozy and clean rooms with a village like feel. Food as average and tandoori is good.

Very well maintained natural vegetation. The beach nearby is superb. Some entertainment in the evening will definitely delight your customer. Staff of the restaurant are very nice. Loved the place. Considering the facilities the rate is slightly high.

It is seen as a place of relaxation because it is normally quiet and peaceful there. To look around you and see the beauty of mother nature at it's finest. The majority of people you ask will say that it is one of their favorite vacation destinations. Not only for the beauty and relaxation but for the sheer entertainment. The view of the ocean just makes you hypnotized and the resort also provide good service.

Best luxurious hotel or resort or restaurant at the further most place and this place is a huge attraction for tourist and gains much popularity. It has some unique design for villas and the rooms are well maintained and good hygiene. Situated in front of beach has facility of live fish or sea animal cooking and service is quite good. Taste of the food is also quite amazing. And if photogenic then this place will woo you out with it's amazing place for photography.

Absolutely loved the place. It has a great view of the ocean and the river. Accommodation is marvelous and the food is exceptionally good. The beach is long and clean. It's a perfect place to relax and the staff is very very polite and obliging. We highly recommend the place.

This is such a superb hide-away when travelling in Odisha or visiting the sexy sun temple. The beach is almost empty, the lodges are simple yet beautiful and the food is tasty. Spent my 30-th birthday here. Good choice for an aging man ;)

I missed my opportunity to stay in this resort but went there to have my breakfast. It was a wonderful buffet for a very simple price in a nice environment with both indoor as well as outdoor seating. Chef and the people were so good and the location is near a back water environment. Would be a nice place to go and stay. If I were to go again to Konark I would definitely be there. Realising that I did not take a picture of the spread of the Buffet.

Its a pretty Good place for a weekend off. For Family, couple or just friends. It have alcohol and nice sea foods. So that’s covered. Only that the place can be little more better in service. They don’t have a Good service. It can be better there. Also if it can make you feel little more Safer.

Very nice place! Staff are friendly and well informed. We had a wonderful dinner at this place. A long walk to the resort by the beach side is worth it as the cars cannot go on that rugged path. Enjoyed the experience!

It is truly one of a kind. Perfect place to go with both family and friends. The setting of the place is serene and calms down one's stress. A great getaway from Bhubaneswar. The whole setting of the place will transport you away from the hustle. Online booking in advance can be done with ease. Staff is friendly and makes you feel comfortable. The rooms are very cozy and have all the possible facilities. It is a must visit.

It was a very nice family holiday. Resort is close to the sea. Impressive reception lobby area. Well laid out, comfortable 3 star rooms, restaurant with good food n helpful chefs ready to your choice. With boating facilities nd fresh sea food.

Lotus eco resort is set in a beautiful setting between a coastal forest and backwaters behind a sand bar which is facing the sea. The service is awesome. The cottages are a bit small though with just enough space to walk. But they are very well maintained. Kids have couple of play areas with park setups. The restaurant faces the backwaters and provides indoor and outdoor seating with very good quality food. Suggest not to have food outside during the day if you are alone. Chances are you'll end up feeding the crows. The backwaters offer water scooters, boat rides to the sand bar and sea-river confluence a little ahead right outside the restaurant. The OTDC watersports area just at the entrance of the resort offers a few additional facilities but I've not been there.

Set in the wild, so to say. A tricky walk down a very unsteady and narrow lane right next to the sea. Once inside, yes, an eco resort indeed. Good food, nice service. Fascinating view from the dining place.

We went here for lunch during our Konark trip. The whole experience was amazing. The ambience of their restaurant is beautiful — on the shore of a small river that meets the Bay of Bengal just nearby. You can see the sea just few hundred meters away. The tables are laid under the sky and small trees here and there. Nice breeze and smell of the tandoor wafting around. Wonderful. The service was good — attentive and quick. The food was really good, especially the seafood. The Tandoori Snapper was delicious and so were the prawns. Even the Odisha home-style chicken curry was top-notch with the fresh butter naans.

Hosts it's own private beach. Good location. Freak view. Food is not so good.

Awesome place to visit. Just beside the beach. They have private beach which is good if you stay there. Food is on the expensive side but seeing the location it is ok.

Has a good beach nearby but the beach was not maintained well. The place is silent and worth trying over a weekend. The restaurant is OK.

A good resort. Good destination for a family outing. The breakfast is very good and grilled starters are good. The room service could improve but overall experience is good. Locationwise the backwaters provide a scenic view and a breath of fresh air in boring lives.

Extremely good location as Puri Konark marine drive road is always better than the best, however the poor service/management spoiled my expectations. They served poor food at extremely high charge. Service delivery was not up to the standard. Price is little bit higher than normal, But standard of food not like the price.

We had lunch at the restaurant. The food and service is amazing. Our attendent was Jitu and he helped us make the right food choice and also suggested us an amazing fresh fish fry. The Sanpper (local fish) fry was delicious. We also checked out the rooms available at the Eco-Resort and found it very clean and interesting. It is a must visit place for having lunch around Konark. The stay option is a bit too expensive which ranges from 6k to 8k but discounts are also available. Around weekends this place is usually full. They have an open air restaurant, a standard restaurant with Fans and A/c conference hall. Boat ride and speed boat options are also available at this resort. They also have a private beach area for the guests.

Ethnic place, near the sea and river mouth. Suitable for the couple and especially newly weds.

Loved the serenity of this place. With beach touching your feet and cottages to make you feel sombre, this place has it all. It even has a private beach view to enjoy privately with your loved ones.

Uniquely positioned but no direct access to the sea. One has to walk around the river chandrabhaga (800 metres at high tide) to reach the sea. The sea is visible from the property. The rooms are wooden — small but thiughtfully built and furnished. The bar is well placed and immense value for money considering the ambience it offers. You can conveniently take a boat to the point where the two rivers — Kushabhadra and Chandrabhaga, join the sea. A beautiful and dangerous site.

Wonderful place with a really nice restaurant with genuinely good cuisine. The only resort in Odisha in real sense of the word. Nestled within beach forests, situated at the confluence of a river and the sea, this is a really peaceful place to spend your weekends. Food at the restaurant is really good. They hold a beach party every full moon evening and it is really enjoyable. Must visit.

Nice place for weekend getaway. Variety of fish preparation is available. You have few water sports on the backwaters which is over looking the resort. The only drawback is that the resort doesn't have a pool to relax. Otherwise a thumbs up.

I have visited this place for 5-6 times now. I stayed at the cottage once and the rest of the trips were just to enjoy the food beside the sea and have a good, peaceful time.
This place can easily be anyone's little paradise. Where he/she can be away from all the hustle-bustle of the city life and be in peace. Its always windy there and the breeze makes the experience all the more pleasing.
The cottages seem tiny but are like a luxurious suite from the inside, spacious enough for two people. Room service is good. Drinks available on demand.
The food is good. But, I feel the restaurant's service and the taste has been a bit degrading over the time. The service is quire slow now. This being the reason I gave it 4 stars. Wish it improves that.
All in all… I can never stop visiting this place as long as I am in Bhubaneswar because this place has so much to offer, catering to varied needs at the same time.

Visiting lotus resort/konark is a awesome experience in terms of its location and vacation. We have never visited a resort twice within six months. But visited lotus twice within six months, and sure whenever we will get time will visit lotus. Its staff, management, "'yellow frame' restaurant and its staff are really suuuuperb! Looking ahead of our third visit. Keep it at its best and all the best to all of you there.

Had an amazing family stat at this place. The staff were very good. The hotel provided delicious food and the breakfast buffet was also very good. The best thing about the place was the proximity to the sea. One can enjoy the sea at the backwater which clearly touches the hotel. The cottages are just on the beach, and one could enjoy every second of it. During the eveing, one can move around the place and enjoy the breeze. Sufficient recliners are also provided. The rooms were also great. Genuine wodden cottages. However the hotel doesnt provide Wi-Fi services, which is a must as having cellular network is a scarcity.

Lotus Resort, Konark is one of the best and has the most wonderful chef who takes utmost care of the people who stay there. Perfect place for a short holiday or vacation around the waters with very authentic and delicious food cooked by the Chef from Andhra Pradesh. His dishes play wonders and the hospitality provided by him is short of words. The cottages are very clean and the staff also provides very good service witha smiling face to greet you every morning. It has an amazing view to have your lunch and dinner or your morning tea with your close ones. I had a very memorable short stay in Lotus with my parents. Would definitely visit Lotus once again when I go for a vacation! Keep it up guys and don't lose your quality!

Resort at Odisha if you want to spend time with Nature and from busy life of city. Clean rooms, Well maintained. Should be on your Must visit list.

A beautiful resort on Konark beach. Just about 9 kms from Konark Sun Temple and approx. 25 kms from Puri. A nice cozy and private resort cut off from public and has a direct access to the beach. Tasty food with a variety of options of continental to Chinese, Tandoori and traditional Odiya sea food cuisine. Nice Eco friendly cottages with all the luxury you need in a beach resort. Has its own Gymn and Spa but no swimming pool (you don't really need one since the beach is just a hop skip and jump).

Great food. Well maintained rooms. Avenues for water sports. Take a walk to the beach… what a fabulous view.
