Nice place and good staff specially Sachin, good help and services provided by him, I will come again with my friends group.

After two days of excitement and a very hectic schedule in the gruelling heat of Dehradun it was heavenly to spend a day at Seclude!
The location is right in the middle of the town but still far away from the maddening traffic and chaos.
A cup of tea sitting in the garden watching the beautiful sunset was enough to forget the world for a while.
The rooms are very pretty and very tastefully done up. All are different sizes so checking the size is a must
we had scrumptious dinner and just chilled around a bonfire.
The staff was very hospitable and catered to all our needs.
it was a stay which we will always always remember.

We stayed here 28 to 30 may in orange and yellow room. Room was so smelly and there was poor hospitality. If u have children please dont see for seclude coz they do not provide any kind of service. They have buffet breakfast but only two items were there.

Secluded place far from the "madding crowd"… room service is not upto the mark food is too costly. Located very near to mall road… I walked uphill to the mall road and saw the clock tower which is an imoortant landmark there.

Kinda Boutique hotel. Good for couples, good view, bad breakfast, No car parking-have to park on road.

Beautiful setting. Great view. Amazing interior and design. The staff has great service and are laways willing to help and provide. The food was delicious. It's the best place in Mussoorie if you want to stay at a reasonable yet artistically exciting place.

First thing u should know that you will have to walk 150 meters on slope to reach hotel gate as cars are not allowed on that slope. So elderly people and specially people with lung condition think before booking. Interiors of hotel is good. Its a silent place and away from crowd. Though mall road picture palace side is about 300 meters away. Issue is with food and staff. They r short of staff and food is not that great. Morning breakfast which is included in room is avoidable. That told us that process of increasing the menu items is underway. All in all it's nice quiet place for youngsters to stay and party. If certain improvemnts are made it can be good choice!

Pros: The location is beautiful. The property looks like a dream. The staff are soft spoken and seemingly helpful. Views from the property is worth the climb. The food preparations are not too shabby. The night view as well is stunning. In close proximity to the Mall Road. Cons: Although they claim to serve a buffet breakfast, such is never the case and all that you'll get is a very late breakfast served at your tables. They claim to provide free Wi-Fi, however they don't fix the broken routers. Tiles are falling of the roof of toilets, however we were assured that such has been the case for quite many years and it doesn't really cause problems. The small koi ponds are breeding mosquitoes, however they assured us that those mosquitoes mean no harm. In short, even though the property is beautiful, the staff are not maintaining the same. Further, even when there's a card machine, they are not willing to take card payments at all, citing vague reasons and only insists on cash or Paytm.

Wondertul hotel, wonderful ambience, loved the oputdoor sitting area overlooking the dehradun valley. Staff very friendly and very cooperative and welcomed us with a lovely herbal fruit tea and banana walnut cake, food menu a bit limited but very nice, excellent pumpkin soup and veg pizza, even thoigh I did miss the walnut brownie. :) rooms warm and comfortable, even though the electrical points could be a little more discreet, liked the sprinkling of books in the room, giving it a homely feel, just spent a day at the resort but would love to come again and spend a few more.

Place is good, with amazing view. They have done superb job with interiors. but its not that homely as it shows in the pics. Service is very poor. Even breakfast was a very bad experience. And they charge u decent fare. quite disappointed with overall service.

The hotel totally justified its name 'Seclude'. Though just around the busiest places in Mussorie called Mall Road — 'Seclude' is away from all the hustle and bustle for a tourist hill station. We chose the room Wooden heart just by looking at the pictures of the room and I have to say that the room we stayed matched evry bit of the picture. The quote on the wall brought a wonderful smiles on our faces and a promising pleasant stay just after entering the room. Here are the bliss points:
1. The ambience of the place is impeccable.
2. Our room had cozy electric mattresses whose temperature can be adjusted to rest ur tired feet and back. The fireplace inside the room good us in our best spirits.
3. During our stay of 2 nights and 3 days — we had breakfast which was freshly prepared and tasty. A simple meal of dal chawal was a blessing for the soul. Dahi wala chicken was the best version I have ever eaten.
4. The view of the hills around and the sunset was absolutely breathtaking so full marks for this property's location.
5. The staff (Specially Naveen) is very curteous and constantly followed up with us to guide us from our way to Dehradun Railway Station to 'Seclude'.
6. An experience of lifetime that we will cherish and would always look for 'Seclude' properties whnvr we travel around now.

We booked this hotel after verifying the truth of the photos shared on mmt. (We had had a terrible experience the previous night at an) Location: The hotel stands true to its name — seclude. It is a short walk away from the hustle bustle of the mall road, quite close to the mussoorie bus stand and taxi stand. The view of the valley from the hotel compound is breathtaking. Rooms: All the rooms have different colour themes based on different famous songs. We had booked 'red red wine'. The room was furnished with tasteful and comfortable basics. The bedsheets and the bathroom were squeaky clean. Our room had a window overlooking the road and a little bit of the valley. The other rooms were bigger and had even better views. I loved the purple room the best. Another thing I loved about our room was the bed warmer. I hate climbing into a cold bed on a winter night. Providing the guests with bed warmers and room heaters is quite thoughtful. Staff: As you enter, you are welcomed by genuinely happy faces. We met the manager, Naveen, when we checked in. Cool guy, he made us comfortable in an instant. Right after check-in, Shashikant, the che, served us our welcome snack: hot ginger tea and hard-to-forget yummilicious banana walnut cake. The breakfast was also served with warm smiles and the staff kept checking on us if we needed something. The food was tasty and fresh. We stayed at the hotel for just a night. Wish we could have extended our stay.

Though a small cottage like hotel this is… but with a very nice and modern concept. Liked this hotel very much.

The hotel is classy… has a good taste… staff awesome… Naveen, Shashikant are very hospitable. Thank you Ira Mam for great supervision. We had a great time. Purple rain room was grand… ambroisal cuisine.

Peaceful, cozy, comfortable stay. Amazing staff and yummy food.

Amazing stay, the best thing about this place is that despite being very near to the mall road which is a bliss though, it stays perfectly secluded from it's hustle bustle. The small garden area is beautifully decorated with greenery and is completely relaxing. You can endlessly watch the clouds forming different shapes as the day comes to a halt. The food they serve comes straight from their kitchens and cooked fresh upon order, absolutely homelike. They have a small breakfast menu but the fact that is it is simple, makes it unnecessary for the need of a hefty one. All in all, they were a warm and tranquil two days spent amidst nature and its wonders. Thanks!

Beautiful rooms, each room is of different theme, good food and good staff, however you have to park your vehicle 100meters before the Hotel.

Located at a nice location away from hustle bustle and still walkable distance from the mall road.

This place is just amazingly beautiful and worth the stay… loved it.

Had a great stay here. Small in size, with only 7 rooms and with limited staff, but service is good. Best part of Seclude is 1. Food. Excellent kitchen staff. 2. Mall Road is hardly 10 minutes walk from here:)

Best place to stay in Mussoorie.

Stating the pros first but some cons will them later.
Pros:
1. Hotel is undoubtedly at the best location with good outdoor activities.
2. Offers a breath-taking view of sunset.
Is peaceful and facility for bonfire and outdoor movie screening.
3. Good hygiene and cleanliness.
Cons:
1. The red wine room which we got was nothing like the pictures we saw online on OYO while booking
The room was way too small with absolutely nothing in it which made the place seem overpriced and disappointing as we were intending on Unwinding and staying in after 4 days of wandering and exploring.
2. Charging point are unaccessible and literally below the bed.
3. We had eagerly enquired about the fireplace and were told that bonfire is chargeable Rs. 600 which could be shared between the people requesting for it. But when we asked for it around 7pm in the evening we were told that didn't had any dry wood. And the wood they will get from market will we wet and hence bad smoke. Plan failed.
4. When we asked about the projector screen close to the fireplace we were told they don't keep the projector outside and we will have to watch the movie sitting inside. Plan failed.
5. Geyser not working. Showered in cold water as we had to leave the hotel for visiting few places.
6. Power backup unavailable.
7. Wifi not accessible since red wine is the last room. But not cribbing about it after all the hotel was seclude.

Quiet and serene. Welcome cake was just awesome and staff is helpful. Breath taking views from the rooms and good seating outside rooms. Birds chirping and stunning view of Dehradun at night. Coming back in future for sure.

Gud place but at gud height not suitable for older person car is provided by them but in night not work.
