The ambience is good, neat and clean surroundings. The environment inthe bar totally suits the mood for drinks. The rooms are well maintained and room services is quick up to mark. The food arrangments for the function was decent. Food tasted good too.

Centrally located in the city. Good rooms. Good service. Nice restaurant. One hour drive from Dehradun airport.

Good place to have some function. They have developed a lawn also for outside arrangements. Parking is available. Less crowded as it is slightly outside the main city.

Rooms and service is very good but restaurant is not suitable for vegetarians and vegans.

Attended a marriage function here. A good decent place for wedding function. Food was also good.

The staff is very decently rude in behaviour, although they spoke very well with me but still I could sense something negative in them. Rest the rooms are really nice, but won't suggest for winters as the heater doesn't function correctly. But full marks to the interiors in this price range.

The hotel was full of flowers at the entrance, it was a lovely sight. The reception area was comfortable while we checked in. Fortunately everything about the hotel was exceptional, and I don't give praise lightly. It was clean, stylish, roomy with excellent service and good food for breakfast and dinner. The service in both places was attentive and efficient. Room itself was well equipped, warm and comfortable. I could go on but suffice it to say I was very pleased with my stay, and although short and sweet this time, I hope to be back for a longer visit in the future.

Near to Wildlife Insitute of India. If you are visiting WII, that is the nearest stay.

Not good, service is not good their room not have ac working properly bathroom was only one other was fuse per room they provide only two tea bags morning breakfast was cold etc.

Hotel softel plaza was an awesome place to stay with great food. The best feature of the Hotel is the great service from the reception to room service to housekeeping to the restuarant. My son unfortunately fell ill just as we reached the hotel. The great assistance provided by the housekeeping staff to clean the room time and again, necessary contact details at the reception, food to the requirement of my kid by room service is commendable. I would like to specially mention Sh. Videsh at the reception and Sh. Sachin (house keeping staff) who helped immensely make my stay comfortable. Thanks and God bless you all!

"One of the best in Dehradun" I am a frequent visitor to dehradun I hv always stayed in chain hotels in other cities but in dehradun I like Softel just because being an individuals property also, they have maintained quality standard and professionalism in all front. Wether it be food rooms ambience siftel has maintained every thing very well, I feel like being at home. keep it up guys.

It is one of the worst hotel, I have ever stayed in. And facilities are not up to the rates. Staff is also less and unprofessional. Not at all recommended. One can get better hotels at half the rates.

Hotel Softel Plaza is a comfy and cosy place to relax in after a tired day spent sight seeing Dehradun. I specially appreciate the elegant and stylish rooms with views of picturesque Mussoorie hills, very comfortable beds, spacious and nice bathroom with world class bath fittings. The rooms have amenities of tea/coffee makers and minibar. I would recommend this place and would love to come again.
