Clarks Avadh is one of the best hotel in Lucknow. Good services are provided here and staff is very polite. Infrastructure is so good. Rooms are very neat and cleaned and all services were provided quickly. Good dining options. Very good hotel to stay. Environment of hotel is good and clean. Staff members are well trained and well mannered.

Old is Gold. This is what Clarks Awadh is. The hospitality and aura of this hotel is truly majestic. The staff is old but they serve you with a grace. Sometime it feels like a hospitality from the colonial era. This oldest hotel of Lucknow is an icon in itself. Many people do not appreciate what hospitality this hotel has. It's got only hospitality to give and nothing materialistic here.

We had a round table conference there. The hotel is nice but we faced problem with the projector and AC which interrupted the presentation. Being a five star hotel such issues should not have come up. The rooms are good. The view from hotel is really nice although now due to the metro, it gets spoiled a bit but still you can have a good view of lucknow from the hotel. The swimming pool is really nice and the food was also really good.

Once used to be only good hotel in Lucknow but now there are several competitors over there. But this hotel is like old lion still cherishing and mesmerizing the old memories and days. Still I love to visit this place, have some times conferences and enjoy dining here.

Room was wonderful, stuff was very professional and friendly. The breakfast in the restaurant was good, you can choose continental or indian food. The restaurant upstairs has lovely romantic atmosphere, live music, good service. Nothing to say about food cause I dont understand in indian cuisine) The location is comfortable, view from the room is pleasant. Four stars only because of water in the pool that was not clean.

Its one of the oldest good hotels in lucknow that I know of. The hotel is good but the only problem is that its old construction. And ots not been maintained very well. The design is old too. Some of the fall ceiling is broken at some places. The catering is provided by the hotel and its also just average. But then this hotel is not as expensive as others for what it offers. The location is great. Lawn is great. Parking is good too. Its away from metro construction so ambiance is good. Its well renouned and rooms and service is also great.

This is good hotel for stay. And their workers are very cooperative.

We rented banquet hall for a social event for a group of around 200 people. Banquet hall was spacious enough to accommodate around 300 people. We didn't book a room as we were there only for event. Ambiance was enchanting and the banquet was soundproof (as there were events going on in other halls as well). Hotel personnel was very cooperative and helpful. Event proceeded without any setback. Overall I loved the place and would try it out another time if I got the chance.

We went to the Falaknuma Restaurant on the 9th floor. Excellent ambience. You'll get a full 360° view of Lucknow. There's live ghazal every night, except for Tuesdays. Unfortunately this was a Tuesday, but the songs they played were very good.

Nice hotel but bit old. The hotel is upgrading with new design and interiors. Wonderful courteous staff, amazing swimming pool view and pool of course. Gyming equipments need to be upgraded. VisiOne of the oldest star properties in Nawab's city of Lucknow. Had a comfortable stay for 2 days with family and other friends and their families to celebrate a marriage function in Mar 2015. The rooms are fairly decent with good view. The staff is well behaved and polite. The service and ambience are good, as expected out of such a hotel. The food in restaurant as well as room service has both variety and taste. It has an outside lawn and basement banquet for parties and conferences. If you have time, money and choice, this is a must visit.

I'm pleasantly surprised to the immense change in Clark's has made — for the better. Last time I was there for a business trip it was less than 2stars. Keep the good work up!

No doubt the hotel is one of the oldest and most popular in Lucknow but it has some drawbacks. The rooms don't have a calling bell and there was a couple of damp spots on our room walls. We went there to attend a family wedding and the food (By hotel) was not too great as normally advertised by the hotel.

Good Morning, I had my wedding at your hotel on October 10, 2015. It was pleasant experience. Thank you.

My father is a constant visitor to this Hotel as he is very often on a business trip to Lucknow, day before yesterday night (31st August 2015), he was reaching the hotel from a nearby city and sensing that he would be late he tried to place an order for ANY AVAILABLE MEAL, literally anything at all available! and the hotel receptionist refuse, in spite of a lot of request he did not do anything, he said that once the kitchen is closed he food cannot be served, when asked why he cant do so while claiming to be a 3-4 star hotel he rudely replied that 'we are a five star hotel'. My father is a diabetes patient in his early Sixties and hence he cannot skip meals, yet he had to and most of all guess what? when he reached the hotel, he saw a trolley full of food going somewhere on the upper floors by the lift! I would like to tell you that even a dhaba or a guest houses care about their customers, While charging the guests they would uses the facade of a Five star hotel but the service is so poor. I had so many memories worth Clarks Avadh, Shiraz and Amer but now my faith is lost in the hospitality of this group, this thing has gone way beyond monetary disadvantages, rather an emotional damage. I highly doubt you would consider posting an apology, because you just don't care but I will be courteous: Thank You clarks! PS — stop calling your customers as "Guests" if you cannot provide basic things such as food, this goes against this countries tradition.
