Worst stay. Don’t even think of booking here. We stay three nights and they become three nightmares. Non-trained staff, unprofessional. Coughing to their own hands while doing check in. Shouting between them in the lobby. They don’t speak English and if you call from the room to the reception, they will hang up the phone ‘cuz they don’t understand. Forget about room service then. Only good thing is that the hotel is close to the Tag Mahal but the surrenders are not ok. Won’t book here never ever in my life. Hope you don’t too, honestly.

Pathetic hotel. Disgusting services. Bad ownership. Don't go by the name, it is deceptive. A big no no to all the travelers. Yes you may visit if you want the worst experience of your life. All the best. Not even worth one star but then had no other option.

What a horrible experince it was. I hav'nt seen such a pathetic hotel ever in my life. Staff was very arrogant and rude. A. C was not working in my room. Taps were leaking. Room was too small. I reached hotel in the evening and found that there is no Restaurant in the property. Water was too salty. Next day breakfast was on the roof top but there was lots of monkeys so we just skip dat.

27/3/2018 I stayed in Mumtaj Mahal for one day. Interior and exterior look is good. Location is very good, very close to Taj Mahal. Room is small but decent. Cleanliness is good. Overall a good hotel with some bad issues, like water in taps, salty water, dirty and dusty water, bad services, and many more issues. I doesn't Recommend for this Hotel to anyone. Property is good but need improvement and modernization.

Great service and value for money. Plus point is, Taj Mahal is at walkable distance only.

The hotel was avarage. Bithroom not so clean. I booked this hotel via oyo. At the time of check out the receptionist asked me for my phone by saying some sort of confirmation mail and rated him self as 5 star. H.

Parking is available. Service is slow. An average space to stay at. Food was good & terrace space is nice.

Hotel was good. As we book the hotel from oyo so price was reasonable. The serivices were average. Food served was good but not properly. Drinking water was dirty. We stayed there for 2 days and no room cleaning service was provided.

Not good place to live. It's not maintained professionally. Front desk has casual approach. There was shortage of tea bags, sugar. The dust was seen all over. Never take food in hotel it's pathetic. Think thrice before booking on line. Rooms are too small.

Beautiful Hotel and Staffs are very polite and cooperative. Cleaning and services are also good. We stayed here about two days but was very enjoyable and remembering moments. The best thing of this Hotel is Restaurant on roof to take meals by seeing Taj. I love it. Hotel is located approximately one km away from Taj Mahal. Location is also very good.

This place wasn't even close to clean. Towels were grotty. Sheets were dirty. The bathroom clearly hadn't been cleaned properly in months. There was broken furniture in the hallways. No hot water for a shower. Less than half of the light fittings functioning. There are plenty of other options around, try any of them except this place.

Worst hotel. Room with dirty washrooms. Junked furnishings. Dirty bed covers torn towels. The water is yellow color and the staff will test your patience. Never ever go here.

Excellent place to live in Agra near Taj Mahal within price range. Good for family & couple also. You can enjoy the view of outside from hotel room and also from the rooftop.

Good service.! The hotel is perfectly situated close to Taj Mahal. But Hot water limited to 4 hours a day… overall very good!

Poor service. Unprofessional and unfriendly staff. Bad food quality. Very slow Wi-Fi. Small rooms with broken doors and untidy washrooms. Food served in cracked cutlery.

Worst Hotel… 3 star in name but not in work. Bad Staff, Bad Food, Bad Management. They only understand how to take money from the guest without giving proper service. And also the Rooftop Restaurant is just for show.

The hotel room was in a very bad condition. AC not working, Electricity — only one port working. Bathroom very dirty. Also the bed was wet and moody. I cannot recommend thia at all. No International cards, only cash. No refunds, always pay on check out.

The hotel is very well located even in agra is pretty hard to walk across the city. The hotel Staff is always ready to help you and the restaurant it's a nice place on roof top to take some local dish very well cooked. Some visit as the new hindú temple and so e palace are Good option for visit and if you want shopping, please ask to the Staff … Mr r. K behaviour is also too gud … I m really thnkful to Mr. R. K. Who guids me well.

Never book this hotel. Its expensive and the service is ****. They have very small rooms. And I'm not talking about budget rooms. I booked a deluxe executive room at 3200 for a night. And damn it is a small room. The room wasn't ready on time given the fact I checked in at 3pm. I had requested an extra bed for a child which was delivered at 8pm. The extra bed was a mess; the mattress was torn in multiple places and was dirty. To top it all, the washroom lights stopped working. I called the reception, they said an electrician will come fix it who never came. Moments later, the air conditioner stopped working. Then I gave up and went to bed because I was exhausted and had to leave early in the morning. I have stayed in several hotels and this one easily tops my list of worthless hotels that surely doesn't deserve even two stars. I've stayed in the hotel next door — Bhoomi Residency, and is far better than this one. I can understand that it is expensive given its closeness to the Taj Mahal. But it is ****. Sorry, but it is.

Hi. It would be a worse decision to stay here. I have stayed in Hotel Mumtaz Mahal as per my booking from 20th to 22nd Oct, 17. The hotel property is in a very good place. But other than that all other aspects are pathetic. Hotel staffs are untrained, unprofessional and do not know how to talk with guests. Service is pathetic. The manager talk non sense… The second day we asked for a fresh bed sheet so that we can change by ourselves, the staff came with bed sheet at 12.30 am to provide the bed sheet when every body was sleeping. Entire property is very dirty, they not even clean neither brooming done at corridors. As per the booking they could not provide TV and minibar. I suggest to booking. Com to check the hotel status before they enlist and showcase, that will help to build the brand. The hotel need to go long way to be featured.

This is the worst hotel I've ever been to. The maintain is not at all good and food was also not good. Recommending you all not to visit this hotel.

Near the entry gate for Taj, beautiful lobby, near tidy rooms, worth the money spent.

One of the worst hotel I have ever visited. Worthless staffs. Dont know how to treat guests. Dish Tv connection of the room cum due to non payment of subscription. Soap and shampoo was not available. Restaurant service is worst poor food quality. Rooms are very small and not even a room freshener were provided. The AC and Tv Remote was not there in the room. And the cherry on the cake was the telephone was also not working.

Location was good, rooms were not all good some appliances are not working and service was also good.

Here the room was very clean and fresh I really enjoy on this hotel the view of taj mahal is nice at the top of the hotel.

Nice place to stay at Agra. Good and affordable accommodation with good food. Most lucrative is the location, just 2 minutes walk from east gate of Taj Mahal. I recommend this place to travellers for easy & happy stay at Agra.

Bathrooms cleanliness is an area for improvement. Rooms are decent.

Cons. Damp and wet patch in our room and bed sheets incredibly dirty. Had to change room only to find black finger prints all over the pillows and and oil patch in the bed. Had to ask to change sheets. The rooftop restaurant/bar does not currently exist, as it is a construction site. The workers were banging away loudly til 8.30. Not sure when they would have stopped if I didn't ask at reception Pros. Cheap. Not far from the Taj.

Such a worst experience ever in my life … Booked ROOM 10 days before … but when we reached their… they told … SIR DOOSRI HOTEL BOOK KAR LO … HAM AAPKO ROOM NAHI PROVIDE KAR PAENGE… and it's already 8:30 pm… that time also in MAKE MY TRIP… they are providing room — that was the surprise.

When we came we were first shown a room in the worst condition ever — white paint crumbled on all walls, the bathroom was in disgusting condition and there was no any view from the window at all. Then we asked to change it they gave us more or less ok room, but still bathroom was terrible. Probably they use very bad detergents so paint on sanitary ware gets destroyed. Also it's cold in the winter especially because the floors in rooms are made of stone and not covered with rugs. The hotel definitely has seen better days. All furniture in the rooftop restaurant is covered with patina or grease especially green chairs. So if you are ordering this place via booking or Airbnb, know that in photos everything looks much better then they have there. And there was even one more thing — we asked to pack the breakfast for 7 o'clock in the morning because we had an early train, but they couldn't do it up until 7:20 so we almost were late for our train.

Booked a triple bed room using oyo in Agra for 27th oct, 2015. When reached hotel the hotel staff kept me waiting for 45 mins telling that the room is getting ready. When checked in the room found only two beds available in the room. The hotel staff asked me to adjust 3 persons in double bed. When lodged a complain to oyo regarding that, the hotel provided a single mattress on the floor asked me to adjust. What the hell they charged me for triple bed and provided a 3rd mattress on the floor. Just disgusting. Dont rely on the classy pics that they provide for thier hotels. The hotel is not at all organised rather they are cheaters. Oyo rooms are also cheaters. Worst service.

Nice place to stay in Agra. Clean and spacious rooms very close to Taj. Pros: 1. Location: close to Taj east gate, adjascent to east gate ticket window. Ideal for family stay. 2. Food: relatively good food. Slightly expensive. 3. Roof top restaurant is good. You can see Taj while enjoying dinner with family. But slow service at roof top restaurant. 4. Good rooms. Cons: 1. Staff needs some professional training. 2. Don't buy mineral water, 2 bottles costed me Rs 76. (Sept 2015) I booked two rooms. One was very good and the other was OK. I was given a torn razai, no cupboard and hanger in my room, no hot water in either of the room. Once out of my three days stay, I asked for clean up and rooms were not cleaned even when I returned at 8:30pm. Overall good experience. The manager said they are in transition and are improving after Delhi based Aura group took over the hotel. I would recommend this hotel.

It was really a nice stay over there. Rooms were clean. Room service was at par. Food was great. Location is superb. I highly recommend it if you are planning to visit Agra in coming days.
