Semi Luxury Hotel Location: Superb uniquely designed cottages. Nice view from rooms provided u get a nice one. Perfect for someone who wants to relax away from the city. their cab services to move in internally are good and specially the drivers are very polite and friendly. Staff: A helpful staff and they give u honest suggestions. Zenith Cafe A must visit Place there. (cover charges excluded) If you're celebrating a birthday or occasion. Rooms: Even their basic room category is huge compared to other hotels. they also provide u a shower cubicle and a private nature balinese style shower space. Balcony is also with good seating Food: A good menu for Vegetarians and Jains specially. But food quality not up to the mark of the hotel standards and of you're a Non vegetarian very difficult as very little options and food not upto the mark. 80% crowd is gujratis. 3.5 out of 5 overall.

Ananta Resort is a very nice resort, we have had a lot of fun there. The arrangement of the resort is very good. Anyone who is going to Udaipur will have a lot of fun once they stay at this resort.

Excellent food, stay, can service within premises, not so expensive, good care of kids, clean swimming pool, everything is simply fantastic.

Waaaaw👌👌👌😮😮😮 A small world of its own. This is a property cradled in nature. If someone's looking to spend some time away from the bustle for a calm getaway, this is your place. Good option for nature retreats. Supab Jaaakaaas.

We were there in 1st week of January. We were 2 couples with a kid each. Had booked luxury cottages. It was really wonderful experience and truly enjoyed our time there. Too many activities both indoor and outdoor to do for almost everybody. My kid just loved the gaming/recreational center. I also had a gala time with my frend over a couple of snooker games. Each room has a Balcony with Good view to almost everybody. Rooms are spacious a d cozy. It was nice to enjoy fine evening in the balcony along with friends. They also have a pub/club on the top of the hill. It has both indoor and outdoor sitting and really gives a good all around view of the mountain. Only issue we observed that the recreational center closes little too early around 8pm and bar area is way too expensive. Service was good as expected and it was good hospitality. We would rate overall 4/5 points.

NICE place calm beautiful surroundings and suits situated at long distances from the main reception and restaurants.
Car service from one place to another is available but a wait of 20 minutes is normal.
All rooms require maintainence. Most cars used for trasport are old and requires maintainence & Servicings.

It’s awesome! Similar to centre parcs but not self catering and internal taxi’s within the resort so no wandering around endlessly. Great staff, 27degrees C in December. Loved it!

It's a Huge Resort, at a beautiful location, with a great view from the rooms and a welcoming and helpful staff, along with some really nice food.

Few of my friends stayed there just recently. They had the worst WORST experience. They had 6 months toddler with them and in their room they had bed bugs and a RAT! Even after complaining so many times no actions were taken. Please do not choose to stay in this property.

Food was good… restaurant staff was so nice and kind. They managed our anniversary cake in a very short time. Nd it was so yum. There were enough gardens to play, exercise, walk or whatever u want. Kidzone, playarea, pool everything was so good. U can enjoy ur short vacay beautifully.

Loved to be there for 3 days… And trust me you will fall in love with this place… The beautiful and mesmerizing view outside each and every room of the resort. We love the pool party when we were there… A bit expensive in their food items so it's good that you catty some eating stuffs with you like cuppamania and all.

Each guest house, each cottage, each villa is designed specifically to bring you closer to the environment than you have ever been. It's not just a regular resort. It's a place where you would wish to go to take a break from life. Spacious rooms. All the amenities, Food taste and quality, ambience, staff behaviour, everything just adds to the beauty of this place.

Love the place. Too much fun getting places. Room service is excellent. Presentation of food is mind-blowing. I really impressed from the view of mountains from the room. And they gave pickup and drop facilities from room to anywhere in resort. Excellent.

This is a 5 star Resort offering 4 star service. They have 200 independent Villa, it's located on a landscape hill. Location: 15km away from Udaipur Recommend: Book only if you have personal car. The resort is located in isolated area, where you find nothing. It's difficult for you to cover complete resort, you might also get confused reaching your room. But the best part is that they provide car service infinity time you ask for. They come & drop/pick up from any location you are there. I believe compare to the occupancy & rooms, the pool was smaller in size. Also you need to struggle in restaurant during breakfast hours. There is limited space for buffet counter, the refills take time, struggle to get table. Taste was good. Liked the continental breakfast. Considering the resort, the food is costly but manageable.

Been there last week and experienced worst experience. We were three couples but we had been provided with separate beds in cottage two out of three cottages. The issue wasn't solved for almost 4 hours and receptionist wasn't giving convincing response. Actually they had big function on next day and they were just behaving to throw us out as quickly as possible. They have enough staff but still they were at turtle speed to response. The main issue with them was, there were suffering with deficiency of good management team. In real, there wasn't single person available with good management skill. Otherwise they can rule on whole UDAIPUR with such a fantastic property. Excellent infrastructure developed at most difficult place, I must say one of beautiful places I have ever visited. But my all excitement and happiness was washed out by poor management. I am afraid to recommend this place to any of my friend or family member who can be treated badly as well. This is my personal point of view according to my experience, not influenced by anyone. Nothing personal! I will never visit again!

This place is very beautiful and very huge. Very nice location and very friendly staff must visit once. Its bit expensive food vice but as far as the property is it is worth the money. If I get a chance in future I will sure visit this resort once more.

Very bad experience. Hospitality is worst. Reception staff is ill-mannered. Balconies are so dirty. Too money minded. They only want payment. Worst cab management ever. Too expensive. They just Keep on filling resort as if people are cattle. No welcome drink or even water is served while you wait for your room. Staff is rude and irresponsible. Keep you waiting for room for at least two hours even after advance payment. A big wastage of money. Would never recommend to anyone.

The stay was comfortable and lavish. Food was good, and so was the service. Only one thing bothered me and that was transportation. Rooms are located at a far distance from reception, and I had to wait for almost 20 minutes every time. Rest all the things were great.

The Ananta Udaipur is an Excellent Resort at very serene and beautiful place. The entire staff was very polite and easily approachable. I highly recommend The Ananta Udaipur for your stay in Udaipur. Nice property. But Rooms are 206 and Restaurant only 1. Lots of Chaos in food serving… plenty of items not refilling timely. Only property is good but service is poor… Amenities have heavy charges. 32 cars between 206 rooms means u have to wait in queue until the car arrive. Go only in Off season. Otherwise u are treated as local budgeted hotel.

Beautiful independent castes good food deal very nice. Only downside having to call by phone to request vehicle to go anywhere inside the hotel although they are fast.

Resort is too good. Restaurant menu is overrrrrpriced… better to eat outside or add in your package… believe me your food bill (one time) will be higher than your one night room charges. Four star rating is giver for resort only…

Awesome weekend get away. Travelled from Jaipur to Udaipur over the weekend to spend couple of days at the resort. Very nicely maintained, built on and around the hill with beautiful row houses. Lush green gardens, greenery everywhere, cleanliness, courteous staff, super silent and peaceful. Loved the stay here. Food and service is also good. Had Chinese in the lunch which was delicious and served well. Cars are parked near the reception area and there are resort owned cabs which pick and drop you from your villa which helps curbing out unnecessary noise and vehicles around you. Highly recommended for people looking for a relaxed weekend.

A week back we went at this beautiful resort booked by my husband for a family trip. We were in all 18 people with age from 2 yrs — 88 yrs. All of our 4 generation was there & the place helped us to make memories for all! Firstly, we were welcomed very well. Rooms were quite fantastic. The pool area, overall service at restaurant was delightful. There was car service in the whole resort & also amazing paths to walk too! Breakfast was stomach filling & so is the staff. We had a cherishing time at the resort with all. A must visit place.

Its a superb place! To start up with, we had a warm welcome at the reception. The stay couldn't be more relaxing. Rooms & amenities were quite appreciable. The area, surrounding, mountains, pools, resto, food everything was just outstanding. Even the play area both — outdoor & indoor was fun!
Pool are was worth to visit. The breakfast was yumm & tummy filling. Car service was much timely & even the checkout-checkin
process. Its a must visit property. We had a gala time with family!

The place is nice when it comes to staying there. Quite comfortable too but I wouldn't say they had privacy in mind when designing the cottages. Plus the place is so spread out that you need to be dependent on their internal cab services for every small thing because walking could prove too much for someone in a vacation mood.

Very relaxing and spacious resort. Spread over 90 acres, on the Aravali hills, with 180+ cottages n villas. Large cottages, secluded from each other provide for lot of solitude and family time. The Oasis deck restaurant is awesome in winter evenings, as you can enjoy great food and drinks in midst of Aravalis. Ambience of the restaurants, decks and pool deck are perfect. It's a large Property so allocate a day to explore and absorb it in it's entirety. It's away from the city so transport can be a hassle. Would be better if you drive on your own or make your Transportation arrangements before. Else you can be held hostage to high rates of the locals during peak season. All in all, Ananta is a great 5* Property in Udaipur.

Hello everyone We booked this hotel on seeing the good reviews. But this was a huge mistake. Reception staff was very cold and their behaviour was quite dry. The foreigners who come are greeted with much more enthusiasm. No place to enjoy proximity with nature or take a solitary walk on roads as cabs releasing smoke are always there on the lanes inside. Zero hospitality. Room and surroundings were good but a resort should provide a wholesome experience which was missing. All the activities were paid. Food was average. Giving one star just for the infrastructure. We felt that our expenditure was wasted. Would never recommend Ananta to anyone.

Excellent atmosphere top notch facilities. A bit more information at check-in time would have been more benefitial, but overall at excellent resort and would recommend it to anyone.

Everything here is just awesome! Staff is polite and courteous. Ambience of restaurant and bar is mind blowing. Swimming pool is like cherry on top. Best time to visit Ananta Udaipur is during monsoon.

Most things were very well done including the decor of the main foyer, the servicemen, the food service, the hotel room. The only downside I can speak of are the lack of larger vehicle for transport, as my family of five had to squeeze into one van to get to the rooms, as all the others were being used. Beside this issue, all other aspects of the resort were great.

First of all I would like to thank all the staff members of Ananta udaipur including Raza, Bhanupratap Singh and everyone else. Right from our entry at the resort we felt the warmth and attention given to us. The staff members are extremely professional and take a lot of care of their guest. Oasis restaurant has some really delicious food. Room service is well above average. Property is well maintained. We requested for a candle light dinner and I was extremely delighted with the arrangements that were made for me. I loved the decoration, the food, the music and the ambiance that was created for us. These people won't disappoint you. If you want to have a memorable experience of your lifetime Ananta is place to be. I will surely visits again.

An oasis in the middle of the desert is what this place can be described. Plenty of greenery around, but just within its boundary. The hillocks have been extremely well landscaped, and the roads well laid out. Rooms are excellent and great food at the restaurant. A super getaway place.

This is really 4 star property but service is very poor. I stayed for 3 nights last weekend. Positive: Location, rooms, Infrastructure, Cleaning, Very Natural Negative: Food was bad, Same dishes everyday Inappropriate response from Staff, Switching Off the Restaurant ACs at 10.30 am as breakfast time gets over no matter 50 guests are eating the food, while asking for anything after meal time, they'll deny, even for Breads. Very bad attitude of Staff specifically at Poolside. Noisy Cabs and you have to be dependent on cabs for going anywhere Poor greetings, check in and check out experience Most of the games are chargeable, even table tennis. Even after your complaints, no response from them. With spending lots of money if you face these many problems, this is too annoying. Go for another resorts like Ramada… You will purely understand what Hospitality means… I assume that people who gave 4 or 5 stars are just impressed with the location and rooms.

Resort is situated in the outskirts of Udaipur City. Each room has scenic view from balcony. View of Lush green mountains till your eyesight can go. Rooms are having good interior and all other facilities. Bathrooms are cleaned and yes! extra Shower Panel in open to sky under tree. Must visit for Couple and small family. Food is very good in quality and have so many options to choose (For Jains too). For A-la-carte, it will be quite expensive. (Paneer sabji costs INR 900.00 + Tax) Room service is too slow. But staff is very co-operative and calm. Still Gymnasium and Spa are under construction. Best season to visit : July-February (Preferably Monsoon) It's a new destination for complete relaxation. I definately prefer to visit again. Room Tip: If you love privacy, select rooms of upper side of resort. If you want easy access resort, select rooms nearby to swimming pool.

Made my husband and I wait for a real long time despite having a confirmed booking. Extra charges for midnight check in. Charged extra for unnecessary stuff. Forced us to stay for an extra night. Front desk guy Prakash and Prashant — highly unprofessional. Lizard in my washroom and no hot water. Overall — would never go there again. If you think the price is too good to be true. It is. We navigate to hotel and reached deep inside a very slim lane in busy city got stuck. Called the hotel just to learn its wrongly marked and we are 10km away from hotel. poor entrance. Under construction. white maruti vans to commute as used in hospitals should have been green color atleast. should plan for a tram or ropeways as engines do polute and spoil the ambience. expansive sandwich 500 plus taxes. ala carte dinner affordable. Plus staff gave us lot of complimentary sweets and appetizers which made us happy. pool table extra charge 300. Should be free for guest. very thick pillows caused neck pain to all of us. On request for thin pilllow staff denied availability. Managemebrt should buy thin pillows for normal size people.

They have 160 rooms. 140 of which are deluxe and 20 suites! Rooms are spacious and well maintained. They have internal cab service to commute between hotel facilities. Positives: 1) Nicely situated away from city among hills 2) Good spacious rooms 3) large swimming pool 4) Quick Room service 5) Good food 6) Nice restaurants.

Amazing & beautifully designed Resort. A very peaceful place with great views as it is located about 10 kms from Udaipur City. Rooms are sufficiently big with spacious bathroom and balcony and also well maintained. Anyone looking for a luxurious and peaceful holiday, this is the resort! Room service and restaurant service was not up to the mark at times… Food options in breakfast and dinner were plenty but not all the items match my taste. I have had much better food in other resorts. Still, it was reasonably good and we could satisfactorily fill our stomachs. Overall, a must visit place. Beauty of the resort can make u forget the little drawbacks of service and food.

I booked 5 star hotels and find even the most basic things not in place. Poorly spoken English (I recognize where I am, but again, this is part of why I'm paying 5 star rates), arguments for trying to connect a 3rd computer to my Wi-Fi, a pool that doesn't receive afternoon sunlight, dinner in what feels like a cafeteria, and a "spa" without a gym?!

0 stars, absolute worst absurd service I have received in my 40+ years of travel and overall enjoyment experiences. We booked 3 months ahead for our yearly family trip, let me tell you that we had confirmed payment, reserved rooms, lunchs, dinners. In particular we ordered 4 rooms for 4 nights, at 40k Rupees per night per room, that's 160k rupees. That's a whooping sum and since we've planned this from our home country USA it would be around $2400 for one stay at one hotel. It's a hefty amount of money, but it should be enough to ensure minimal satisfaction at most and treatment. We arrived at first and there was a wedding booked and we had no notifications or messages of any chance or anything in particular. We arrived from Ahmedabad after a 4-5 hour trip to this resort, we were tired, exhausted, and our pockets were drained from the expenses. We tried to check in and they tried to tell us that they are sorry but our rooms had been canceled and that we already were notified. We immediately explained controlling our anger about how we spent 3 months planning this trip and how they cannot do this to begin with. But the thing is it didn't begin and end at just that. They can't cancel our rooms legally to begin with after accepting the money, but they also didn't notify us at all, not a hour before, not a day, not a week, not a month, no notifications. We had a travel agent and everything and he wasn't notified at all anyway. The absurdness of this experience is crazy.

Excellent environs with a view. Great rooms and room service. Wonderful for stay during winters. What irked most was bulk bookings; esp for marriage parties. A minor, but most irritating was loud communication between transport manager and drivers taking guests to & from rooms. Drivers could be provided with headphones or digital panels.

Very bad service and uncoprative staff never check in again in my life and never recomand any one to go there poor hoslitality very bad exprience of my life.

Date: 14 Sep. 2014 — It is in good location and nice small cottage as your room. Has an excellent food. However resort is only 40% complete. Out of 260 cottages only 80 cottages are ready. Except swimming facility nothing is on. Resort is open up in hurry. On Saturday night pool party was arranged for 8.00 PM. Till 9.45 nothings was happening. When we complain for late show and not having chairs to seat we got reply. We did not invited you. After only giving them our peace of mind we got apology and good treatment at pool party. It took us 1.5 hours to get receipt for our payment. And they could not produce bill. Kitchen staff and door mans are good. Resort has good potential if standard and service are maintained and open after complete completion. At present it looks excellent view on one side and other side it look like construction site. Do not get full by photos as it is photoshop magic.
