If there would have been 100 stars, I would have given that instead of 5 stars. The property is awesome, marvellous. The best thing about owners is he has made the property but didn’t disturb the nature, rather he has added more to the nature. I went there for one day with my family and shared the pics, the very next day my friend came running there to have a stay and I too prolonged my stay there as the place is so beautiful.
Staff very gentle and obedient
Owner of the property (Marvel) is a gem of a person with very good nature.
Enjoy the evening with the lake view all around the property with a cup of tea (your wish in this matter) and soft music.
Have freshly made dinner which I liked the most and never had such good and tasty food in any hotel/dhaba/ restro in my life. Everything is being cultivated inside the property itself, which is also one of the attraction of the property.
Now wake up in mourning, open the blind of the rooms and you see the lake from you room, what else a person wants in his life. Jungle safari to nature to village life to a mind blowing property, everything in one place.

The location of the resort is quite amazing. You get a beautiful lake view from the rooms, also a good spot for bird watching. The staff/ especially the owner is extremely diligent as well as friendly.

Awesome place, very friendly staff. The owner, Mr Narendra Singh personally makes sure the the overall stay is comfortable.

Super beautiful property with spacious and clean rooms with an awesome view of the Lake and the Sariska reserve. Everything about the property is beautiful. The way it's built and kept. The staff is very polite, helpful, and quick. Peaceful. Highly recommended.

This was my first visit to tehla and Neelkanth Forest Retreat and honestly had my own apprehensions driven primarily due to reasons of an unknown destination (pictures can be deceptive after all). As it panned out it turned up as a truly remarkable trip hence let me pen down a few reasons for it.
First the location itself — the NFR sits over a “cape “ like land body that juts out into a large waterbody, which means at any point one is in clear sight of the lake left, right or ahead. This is host to a large population of a variety of birdlife. (There is also the lone resident crocodile who can be seen idling on a rock in the afternoons). Second is that one is in clear sight of the core area of the tiger reserve which is less than 2kms from NFR. I spotted sambar and bluebulls and was informed that tiger roars have been heard at times (I didn’t personally witness this but to those that have must be an adrenaline boost! ).
Third is the numerous walking opportunities on both flanks of NFR that gives you a peek into forest and village life.
Fourth is a 30 min ride up to the famous and ancient Neelkanth Mahadev Temple. Dates back between 6/9 AD a cluster of Hindu and Jain temples. The ride is bumpy but the views from top and surroundings is worth it. Last but not the least is the extremely warm and cordial staff — dishing out great food and service (12 well appointed rooms with good views of the lake).

Enjoyed our stay there with nice views and misty weather. The staff was mostly v. Attentive and food items were tasty and made to order even when we went late for breakfast. Lots of birds and animals are visible near the resort also, it’s a nature lover’s paradise next to a large lake.

Very much recommend, it was a great, new year eve with good view and good ambience, staff is so humble and friendly.

Sariska’s half of the wildlife you can feel around the resort, even more.

For nature lovers, Neelkanth resort is a paradise. A beautiful lake around and birds flying low over the water, will mesmerize you towards nature.
Have a cup of lemon grass tea, spend hours with chirping of birds and their activities. Enjoy the fish eater bird’s activities when a pied kingfisher hunts fish in the lake, a dive on the target with a catch, it’s awesome. Take a zoom lens camera or a binocular will take you into real wilderness of Sariska. From the resort, we watched wild boar, Sambhar deer, blue bull and spotted deer.

Let me come back to the stay and hospitality, it's all awesome with their rooms and services. A restaurant with lake view, so pleasant. A nice garden with different vegetable plants. As I mentioned above enjoyed the freshly plucked leaves of green grass tea plant and served for you. An evening with bonfire and ducks in the lake sing melodies for you. My repeat words, it's for nature lovers.

Regarding Jungle Safari, it’s just near the Tehla Gate (Route 2), In our safari, it’s the first tour and the luckiest day to spend few minutes around the cat Leopard.

Sunset and Sunrise you won't like to miss it once be there.

Stopped at this amazingly beautiful property while we were travelling to Sariska. It wasnt a planned stop in our travel route but am glad we stopped. Wonderful property in midst of nature, huge water catchment areas around the property add to its beauty. We were received by a very well spoken Gentleman (property owner) Mr. Narendra. He was friendly enough to show us the property and also share geographical knowledge about the Tiger reserve and the historical temple nearby. Good to see an owner so actively involved in day to day running of the resort, guess thats the reason the porperty is so well maitained. Had Dal (lentils), Organic Gobi (Cauliflower) and Chicken and found it very delicious. Spent some quality time at the property with a promise to come again.

Sometimes a picture is worth a thousand words. Neelkanth Hotels pictures were certainly that. With hardly any review place — the pictures convinced us to give it a try and we don't regret it at all. It is charming, quiet, helpful, courteous — well located and deserves revisits. Built on a natural promontory on a natural waterbody, Neelkanth's design uses the natural facilities perfectly, building up on layers, with each layer melding on to the one above — providing multiple view points to enjoy the lush country around. All rooms are large, furnished well with lots of space. All rooms open into a common wide corridor overlooking the lake — as well as providing a lovely place for our group to lounge in. Bathrooms are modern and well appointed — the shower area could benefit from a raised boundary to prevent water from wetting the enture bathroom. Our young host — Narendra — was both helpful and a great company — providing us with helpful tips and helping us with planning our itinerary. Not to be missed is the wonderful company of Lucy — the young friendly house pet whose boundless energy was a source of joy for all of us. Overall — had a memorable stay and would definitely advise all to try this wonderful place out.

We stayed for 2 nights at this beautiful place and we made a right decision to choose this place which is situated at a wonderful location. The view from the rooms n top is breathtaking and the courteous staff make your stay very comfortable. We found the place very clean, peaceful and serene. We would highly recommend this place to people who love nature. Mr. Narendra Meena, the owner has maintained this property quite well. He took care of our stay quite well, and made it quite memorable. Food prepared by the staff was quite authentic and sooperb in taste. Over all it was a wonderful stay at Neelkanth Forest retreat. We will surely plan a stay again at the same place very soon.
