Very nice hotel
The room was large and clean. The air conditioning worked very well.
The pool is very large and there is even a children's pool. It has enough berths.
The food in the restaurant is good and the breakfast buffet is large enough.

Beautiful historical place. I love roaming around the village and trekking up Elephant Hill to visit the nearby temples. You can do all these walks on your own. If you join the "free guided" walks provided by the hotel, you'll be disappointed. You are basically accompanied by a hotel staff for a brisk, brief walk through the village. We also stupidly joined the trek up Elephant Hill with a hotel staff. When we reached the top he asked for 100rp each. And when I was slow in taking out the demanded "tip" as I was admiring the sun rise, he went around asking each of my friend for it. It marred what could have been a beautiful experience. Yes, it's cheap but it could be done in a more tasteful manner and to be honest he didn't really deserve 100rp. So my advise is, do the climb yourself and it's easy. If you need directions, the friendly villagers can point you towards the right direction.

Located in one of the most tranquil village — Narlai, Rawla Narlai is the best. Almost centrally located with a beautiful Rajasthani interior it has been a favourite amongst tourists and even Hindi film industry celebrities. It's a must stay over here if you want to experience a Rajathani lifestyle and yes it is surrounded by several Jain and Hindu temples to get you connected to your spiritual side.

Good facilities, good service etc.

Really good in class if not the best. The staff is really polite and always available at service. Well made up rooms. If you are a photo enthusiast and can get the rooms at top floor, you will get some really good frames as in sunrise, the sneak peak of the city and a lot more. The best part of this place is, The stepwell dinner, and that's really one of the most amazing and a life time experience.

I know quite a few boutique properties in Rajasthan. Rawla Narlai is one that I just experienced first hand first time. A lot of my clients come here. Now I know this place myself. Very well done medieval palace. The exteriors are authentic. The rooms are beautiful too. At night, the place transforms itself with the candles everywhere creating the true medieval aura. If you are staying here, you must do the stepwell dinner. It is an unforgettable experience that you will talk about to everyone.

Old world charm, nice rooms, good food, Leopard sighting and dinner at the old step well was great.

It was a beautiful experience. The place is awesome. Specially the tent rooms. The staff is pleasing n makes u feel special. The food was delicious. Must visit place in narlai.

Great place. Fantastic food. Definitely worth the trip out. Highly recommend the leopard spotting and the walk up the rock too. Only slight niggle was the tipping culture that was clearly there. Would much prefer a central box for this.

Cool place. Has a 5 star hotel a museum along with a lavish bar. A large pool. A club house and many more.

Calm living experience, as royal as it can get!

Following points make this place one to be visited 1) Royal and typical Rajasthani Culture 2) Do you like Haveli environment: this is place to visit to feel like Ranaji / Raniji of Haveli 3) Beautiful scenes around and lush green gardens with antique feel 4) Amazing food : Rajasthani flavors while you can also get Continental if your taste buds crave for it. 5) 2 hrs drive from Udaipur airport. For tourists looking for serenity for a while.

Wonderful Experience lovely one Night. Very Kind Staff. And Delicious food. Beautiful Candle light Dinner.

Well we were there for one night. Nothing much to do around the place. Basically a hunting lodge now converted to a hotel. Has got a old as well as new wing … U can get a leopard Safari which will cost 2500 per person. A step well dinner which will cost 5000 per person. We were in old wing. Had no TV and no minibar in room cause they want to give a unique experience to foreign clients. Food was good and hospitality was excellent … people were soft spoken. Although they want to maintain that charm of palaces and have old furniture etc but the cleanliness should not be compromised. Bed sheets were having stains and beds were Dusty. Felt a little less value for money here. But thumbs to the staff n their hospitality.

We stayed one evening in Rawla Narlai on our journey towards Udaipur. What a spiritual and unique town with a five star property hidden inside. Gareema the general manager was fantastic, calling us before our arrival with a nice introduction and welcome drink. Lalu was managing every aspect of food and beverage service with perfection. A must do is a hike of 750 steps to the top of a mountain for sunset and visiting a Shiv-ji Mandir. Also a stepwell dinner, where we were brought on a bullock cart to listen to a musician play in a stepwell lit by hundreds of candles. Followed of course by leopard spotting and Gareema and her jeep guides were great trackers. The people of the village are authentic and friendly and never have I seen so many temples in a quaint town.

Having traveled so many destinations and experiencing varied hotels this particular hotel has definitely touched my heart. Staring from warm welcome to the feeling of wow when we entered the deluxe room. Room was amazingly designed with heritage touch and most modern bathroom and amenities.

Rich cultural heritage of this place grabbed my attention.!
