A truly incredible property, we had an excellent experience staying at this 19th century Shekhawati Haveli that’s been meticulously restored from scratch. The rooms were spacious and vibrant, the courtyard, the lawns, the foyer were all decked in original Rajasthani architecture which had been maintained wonderfully. The whole place is bathed in rich history.
The staff is helpful & friendly and the food was amazing too.
A really unique and beautiful experience. Highly recommended.

All I can say about this place is that it is an epitome of beauty, luxury and elegance. The friendly staff at Vivaana Culture Hotel, the delicious food and the grounded owner made our anniversary a memorable event.

Thoroughly enjoyed our short two night stay at this wonderful property. Felt like extending our stay but had other onward plans. The entire management and staff are always smiling and have a positive attitude towards all the guests. I expected the food to be average but it was in fact very homely and delicious. A delightful gem with rich history and culture. Whole heartedly recommend for a peaceful stay.

Vivaana is an excellent haveli turned hotel with all modern amenities in place, while maintaining the heritage of the building. Wifi is iffy in the rooms however. The pool is fantastic and a super place to chill. For Indians however, a couple of things to remember: 1) this hotel caters mostly to foreigners and therefore, the food (especially the buffet food) is on the mild side, and you have to inform the staff about making it spicier and with added salt — the hotel staff does warn you about it; 2) for the hotel staff, foreigners can do no wrong — as an example, we had asked for 3 cycles to be blocked for us to tour the village, but the moment a foreigner appeared they were happy to hand over one of our bikes to him — when the foreigner started arguing with us, the hotel staff promptly disappeared. Do what is right for all your customers, irrespective of nationality!

Lovely quiet place for a quick weekend getaway. The staff is really helpful and goes an extra mile to make you feel at home. They allowed us access to their kitchen to help us prepare meals tailored for our 3 Yr old son. The hotel is situated in a rural rajasthani village… Not much to explore around the place though… But if its relaxation you are looking for… You will find it there. Peacocks, camels, sheep roam around the property. Rooms are spacious… haveli in itself is very ethnic and exotic. Overall a nice stay!

Secluded from the hustles of cities. A haveli restored from rubbles and now is an exotic place to spend time. It is equipped with all latest amenities. The food is good and spread is excellent if you take into account how small the village Ajitgarh actually is. The staff is too courteous and helpful. They will be there to serve you from their hearts. The rooms are lavish. There are some exquisite rooms which are too beautiful to stay in. They have fresco which is colourful as the culture. Get a vehicle for yourself here if you are travelling from Delhi. Mandawa is 20 minutes from here where you can shop. Jhunjhunu is also like 40 minutes. I would recommend this place as a must visit in Rajasthan. Shekhawati culture is glorified through their hospitality.

Apart from the big noise of the birds (but earplugs are provided), the hotel was beautiful, musicians and puppeteers brightened our evening, the meal was excellent, the atmosphere unique, and a small course allows to go around this Splendid Haveli, lost in a place where you can not pass by chance. Beautiful, and a more special for the staff of the restaurant, very kind, polite and smiling. Bravo for the Outfit!

Exotic Hotel in the middle of the desert and out of nowhere. Very nice experience, rooms, garden, etcetera. Wide and careful.

The place is very nice, and what adds to its charm is the fact that it is an old Haveli transformed into a hotel, which helps to help maintain the Indian heritage.

A unique place and true gem. A hotel which was created from a big old mansion. You would never expect something like this in the 'middle of nowhere'. Probably one of the nicest and most athmospheric places I have been too. Not just the hotel building itself but the whole experience incl. Dinner in the garden / courtyard etc.

A hotel located in the heart of Churi Village and is in an old Palace. The way they have turned the old Haweli into the hotel is amazing. Food is just out of this world.

This is my favourite place to stay in all of Shekhawati. As a Director of a travel company I recommend places which have unique and exotic experiential value for discerning travellers from around the world with whom I often plan and create itineraries. In Shekhawati, Vivaana offers everything in a subtle manner. The soft spoken personnel, the great ambiance, the good food and beverage and of course the historical value of the locale, all add up to the value of the product.

The hotel was very nice. Very comfortable. Good food. The hotel is a former Havelis House of the wealthy traders of the Silk Road.

We recently stayed at Vivaana for our son's birthday. Loved the way the haveli has been conserved and turned into a modern and functional hotel. There is so much to see and look around that we didn't step out even once during our 2-nights stay. The restaurant staff made us a lovely Rajasthani lunch on our last day with Lal maas, dal, baati and chokha which was scrumptious. Our room had the bathtub above the bed which was novel and really awesome to look at. Loved it every bit of its ambiance. Highly recommend it!

The place itself looks nice and the room was good and clean. However the restaurant personnel was a bit rude and unprofessional. The food itself alright, but the breakfast very bad, with stale muffins and acid butter.

It has been a wonderful experience being here. It is like an oasis where you have access to all the modern comforts and yet get exposed to village life. I took a bike ride which was very enjoyable. In the morning we got to hear exotic peacocks. We were lucky to see one dance. This was also a nice exposure to beautiful Fresco art. Great heritage experience!

Vivaana is truly the best cultural hotel. The havelis have been restored beautifully with just the right amount of modern touch to it. The rooms are spacious with amazing bathrooms. The fresco lounge was surreal and the locks and doors are fascinating. Love how each room has it's own charm.
The service and hospitality is stellar! One feels like a prince/princess in their environment. There is lots to do in the property itself — cycling, playing indoor & outdoor games, swimming & relaxing by the pool, karaoke and chilling in the bar. There is a lot to choose from the delicious food menu and I would recommend the Vivaana special fries to everyone.
If you're a fan of old artifacts, you're surely in for a treat!

The havelis that form Vivaana have been restored very tastefully — congratulations first of all to the promoters and the team who made this happen. There's a story behind each and everything — and not one that is made up or not interesting. The combination of old haveli rooms with modern bathrooms and fittings is an architectural marvel in itself. The staff and team at Vivaana are most attentive and courteous, and definitely made our stay even more enjoyable. Shiven, one of t…he promoters, himself took us on the walkthrough, and it was great fun learning about how Vivaana was conceptualized and built from ruins. The food was very good as well, although, I'd request the staff to not ignore traditional Rajasthani food in the main fare itself, even if it doesn't find many takers in its patrons coming in largely from the global community. Had a tonne of fun cycling through the village of Churi Ajitgarh — cannot afford to miss this. All in all, an experience worth our time and money. Wish we could have stayed longer, and would definitely bring more people next time we're around. Thank you.

If you really want to enjoy the Indian culture, taste, hospitality and architecture then Vivaana is the best option. It's the only place where you will get these and enjoy every bit of it. My parents was just fell in love with the hospitality service they provide and everyone loves the taste of the food. They have given the perfect touch of Indian culture in everything the customer will see. I'm so happy with their service that i'll of course suggest this to you all and visit the place next time.

Vivaana is one of the best culture hotel which I ever experienced. There infrastructure, wall painting, historical and royal portraits reflects the old world charm, which seems like forever beauty. I had a great time with my friends and family enjoyed music, food, games, horse riding etc. The lawns, terraces, courtyards, swimming pools were eye catching places and very impressive. The room service and facilities was appreciable. Food was authentic Rajasthani. Excellent Hospitality of simple people. Vivaana is a great place to stay, I would like to thanks the staff and management for making my trip memorable.

Even after soo many years this place continues to maintain it's charm like no other. The architecture of this place will take you back to the era of the kings and the queens. Very few matches the quality with the expectation and VIVAANA does that to infinity and is the best fine dine I have been to.
What a marvel this place is, perfect location and ambience. The staff is warm and nice and know what they are doing. Services are prompt. In short the hospitality and service is applaudable.
The food is nice and filling, satisfying all your taste buds. The dishes we tried, few were exquisite and rest were upto the mark. All in all the food was a complete bliss.

An experience to remember! I recently visited this amazing place with my family and couldn't get my eyes off from it's beautiful ambience. Some incredible work has been done on the architecture, every corner is mesmerizing and well thought out. Also, the food is equally great. Services and staff everything is well maintained and worked on. As being a lover of heritage places, I personally had an awesome time here. Highly recommended. Vivaana is an absolute architecture beauty. My number one concern about any hotel is sanitation and Vivaana is very hygienic and clean in every aspect. The food is delicious and the service is great too. All the rooms and bathrooms have a very royal vibe and the entire hotel has a great ambiance. Would definitely visit again.

Visiting Vivaana Culture Hotel was one of the most beautiful adventures of my life. You can experience the royal bliss once you walk through this gorgeous property. The hospitality is amazing. The front office staff is always ready to help and the porters & waiters were available at our beck & call. I simply loved the authentic Rajasthani platter served to us for dinner. I utilized my Sunday well as there were so many activities arranged by the hotel like camel safari, elephant spa, village walk, etc. All in all it was an amazing stay and I'm definitely looking forward to visit again.

I had been planning a trip with all my friends for some time and we came across this amazing place in Mandawa where you can truly relax and enjoy. The place is very nice and has an amazing ethnic feel to it.

Never lived so comfortably in any hotel as, I lived in this Haveli! Every wall of this Haveli with Frescos has a story to tell. Rooms are beyond description in comfort, luxury and beauty. No modern and old luxurious hotels in world can be compared with the beauty of and comfort of the each room, individually restored, to give the best value and experience in hospitality of Rajasthan. I do not agree with the comment of a guest, that there is nothing to see! The whole village of Churi Ajitgarh is full of Havelis, with the finest architecture, old charm, glory and stories to say. A photographer and architect's delight to see, learn and admire.
