The WORST hotel of INDIA, never even think of booking, you will regret through out your life. Don't believe on reviews posted or asked to post by the owner himself.

Good place, decoration is good, rooms are spacious, food is ok but expensive. Service is good.

Hotel Shekhawati is located very close from main road. However, if you are traveling in personal vehicle, do take a note that lanes right outside the hotel are far too narrow for a SUV and it could be painful experience. Adding to this fact, there is very little space to park vehicles of guests. Unless you are using locally hired vehicle, things could be difficult. The hotel is about 20 year old, yet some basic things have been overlooked. The doors of some of the rooms do not lock properly and can easily be opened from outside just by a tiny push. There are no lockers for keeping important documents or belongings. The bed was a bit noisy. That can be a real hassle for honeymooners. The air conditioning malfunctions in some rooms. The way rooms are designed traditionally, with openings for light and wind, even properly working air conditioning is affected as cool air leaks easily. Water is available all through the day and a generator provides electricity in case of outage, which is a routine thing out here. If you are Indian tourist you need the hand shower by the commode to work. But the overhead tank doesn't provide enough pressure for that in the rooms on second floor. I suggest take ground floor rooms if you are Indian. No toiletries were provided which is strange. The staff was courteous. However during off season, kitchen facility is limited to basic breakfast only. The lights in the room were insufficient for my liking.

A 130 years old royal building with good service… but a little hard to reach there…

This hotel is worth it for the design. It seems one immersed in the adventures of Aladdin. The staff is very friendly and helpful. It has a restaurant overlooking the city of romantic and cosy design. It has parking.

Good. Difficult to locate by Google maps. Infrastructure very cool and well maintained.

Although our room was a cosy tight fit the hotel is simply amazing, with walls and ceilings covered with traditional murals. The staff were very friendly and there's an awesome rooftop restaurant overlooking the city of Mandawa!

Cold rooms and very hard beds but excellent location, friendly staff, decent food, original décor, balcony and nice rooftop.

There's a room that's all glass. Even the ceilings. All cut glass just like the Maharajah's time. Food in the hotel is OK. Not super great. But all the rooms are a work of art. They all seem to have antique furniture with a lot of wood carvings. Every room is different. One of the room I saw had miniature paintings on every inch of the walls and ceilings. Unbelievable. Especially the mirror room. Stop by to see that room. You'll be in shock. *****I'm by myself here and I feel very safe.

Loved this place, the staff are really nice and helpful. Not one person asked for a tip (which is rare in India! ) The whole building has been hand painted with fantastic art and looks really clean. Food is really nice and cheap! Good market around the area but a lot of tourist poachers Pros: Decent Wi-Fi (only works in reception) Great value for such a nice place Lovely view from roof & room Cons: Lots of tourist poachers in market area No hot water (only abit warm)

Beautiful old haveli with lot of character. Nice painting all around and in side the rooms with unique story. There is several gallery those explain the gold time of past. Roof top area is magnificent view provides and food equality is excellent. All the best enjoy…
