Samode bagh is easily one of the most outstanding and unique hotels, instead of rooms in a building there are camps in an open space, we stayed in the cottages which are just mini concrete houses but with a camp roof. Food is amazing and they have a wide variety, there are a bunch of activities to do like play cricket, table tennis, play board games (ludo, snakes and ladders, carrots, and chess), snooker, or just relax and go to their Mughal gardens. The mughal gardens are huge and take like half of the property's space. They even have animals (mainly birds), and I found a civet (like a racoon), a Rose-ringed parakeet (green parrot), squirrels, and jungle babbles (birds). The suites have a whole other area on the right side of the property. Peak season is around October. There are cycles too, from which I learnt how to cycle in 2 days. They even have their own pool which is big, and a gym which is smaller and mainly have weights. Instead of the treadmill if you want a real exercise I would recommend to just jog around the property. Overall very good hotel and very friendly staff. Recommended.

An amazing three day stay for a wedding. Have oft heard the phrase, “a fairy tale wedding” & this was one. Whilst I naturally would give credit to my host & the wedding planner for the experience but cannot deny the fact that none of it would have been possible without the infrastructure & hospitality of the hotel.
Beautiful lush green perfectly manicured lawns. Chirping birds. Peacocks sightings!
Ideal for a wedding. Be it the welcome lunch by the fountains & trees. Haldi by the poolside. Cocktail in an amazing hall!
The rooms too were perfect. Large, aesthetically done up & super comfortable.
They have some rooms in tents too!
The cherry on the cake was the staff. Super attentive & helpful. Old world charm. Perfect!

Was here for 3 nights for a traditional Indian wedding ceremony. Property was approximately 5 hours away from Delhi by car. It was the hunting lodge of the Raja that ruled Jaipur back then, converted to modern resort in 1994. There are 2 main sheltered buildings: one is the lobby building that houses suites, dining hall (Raj Darbar), main kitchen, while the other building is directly opposite the main one and also houses suites. Named lawns are scattered around, the hotel main reception is in the middle of the compound. If you go in further you will see fortress wall, lotus pond, and water fountains. Standard rooms are tent-style and housekeeping must be done in guests' presence (something to take note, you can't leave your room with a tag and expect it to be cleaned). Plugs are the 3 round pins type C/D and type M. Wifi was just bad. Service crews were attentive, food was delicious (there are no other restaurants in the vicinity — remote area), but your mile may vary as our group booked the entire resort for the event. And also when finding route on the map do not confuse Samode Bagh with Samode Palace, they are 2 different places.

We recently visited Samode Bagh, and it was truly a refreshing and memorable experience. The moment you enter, you are surrounded by lush greenery, blooming flowers, and the soothing sounds of nature. The property is beautifully maintained and feels like a natural paradise away from the city’s noise.
One of the most special parts of my stay was the organic food — fresh, healthy, and full of authentic flavors. You can really taste the freshness in every dish, and the presentation was simple yet elegant.
The staff and Operations Manager were extremely polite, helpful, and always smiling. Their warm hospitality made us feel completely at home.
I also loved watching the different types of birds around the garden — it’s a wonderful experience for nature lovers. You can spend hours just walking through the green lawns, enjoying the peaceful atmosphere.

Excellent location! Very helpful staff! Great to see the in house dairy, kitchen garden, organic food and flower garden.
Very spacious and comfortable rooms with all necessary amenities!
Shoutout to Mr Devendra who patiently took us around s the property!
Great to be here!

Samodh Bagh is way better than reviews and pictures. We went with the family and the 1 day we were there for my sisters 50th, we were touched by the service, the niceness and the beautiful property. It was my second visit to the Bagh and I can highly rec. To all, with children, teenagers, couples, friends and family. Theres so much to do for all. The beauty of the place, its vastness, greenery and the super amazing staff takes you away from your normal routine life.
I would rate this property a 10/10 on everthing, the rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable, the food is delicious and offers you a wide variety, the hopitality is great and its a fun place to unwind.

My milestone Birthday with family and friends.
Samode made it a most memorable experience with giving everyone memories of a lifetime with there serene settings and great service.
All there departments come into play to create a magical experience.
Food is delightful and so are the rooms. Impromptu arrangements of a Dhol and other neccessities were met with an absolute aplomb.
There Bakery surely needs attention.
Niranjan ji was an absolute delight in seeing all arrangements were PERFECT. Gopal ji too + All staff was terrific.
Our 15th visit to Samode Bagh and still the place appears New and Fresh.

This is a beautiful and spacious property with a charming vintage garden. I loved the cottages, tents, and luxury rooms – each offers a unique and comfortable stay. The peaceful vibes and serene silence make it a perfect escape from the city. Waking up to the sight of peacocks in the morning was truly magical. The food was delicious and well-prepared. Overall, a wonderful experience – I highly recommend this place.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5 Stars – A Hidden Gem in Jaipur!
Visited Samode Bagh for the first time during our rally event, where the organizers hosted lunch for all the racers — and I must say, I was truly impressed!
The property is absolutely stunning — lush greenery all around, peaceful ambience, and beautifully maintained. Even though we were there only for a few hours, the warmth of the place left a lasting impression.
The lunch setup was gorgeous, and the food was beyond amazing — especially the pasta, which was hands down the best I’ve had in a while!
Would love to come back and explore more of this incredible place. Definitely recommend it for anyone looking for a serene, elegant spot in Jaipur.

Samode Bagh is the perfect destination for a getaway with your loved ones. We had booked the resort for my mother’s 60th birthday celebrations. Starting from Mr. Ashvani from Sales team, he helped us in creating the best package for the stay.
Even before our arrival at the resort, Mr. Niranjan from the operations team was available throughout for helping us plan the entire stay and events and after arrival he was always just a call away. Mr. Niranjan and his service team at the resort is simply fantastic. They were always one step ahead in the preparations and never said no to anything. We had the perfect stay and the best birthday celebrations ever.

Beautiful room, and surroundings.
Great massage. But not pleased that I was not informed taxes will be added on the price I was told. Suddenly the price increased by 20% on already expensive treatment.
The food was mediocre. And the restaurant prices were very high. Of course, the resort has monopoly as there is nothing else around, but the prices were outrageous (most simple salad 10+ euros).
And the worst part, I gave a couple of clothes for laundry, and one of pieces came back ruined! It had dark purple stains on it (not one stain but all over the pants), that were not possible to wash afterwards. The pants were meant for next days wedding ceremony, and they ruined it. No one speak proper enough English to help me with that, and they said I put turmeric on it (which is yellow) and ruined my pants myself. Well, pants had not yellow but purple color. Also, they did not reimburse me the cost of the pants, and I had to buy new one just before the wedding on my own cost AGAIN. It caused a lot of inconvenience AND EXTRA expesses. Very disappointing.

Wish we could’ve stayed another night. Very clean and comfortable rooms. Great matress and a good nights sleep. Really beautiful gardens surrounding us. Ate in the restaurant that evening and food and service was great. Staff even went out of their way to give us a tour of the banquet or wedding halls. It’s a quiet retreat between Delhi and Jaipur. Had a nice breakfast with lots of choices then Went to see the Samode palace the next day.
Highly recommend a night or two here.

We were attending a luncheon with our family and friends at Samode Bagh.
The garden picnic was simply wonderful created by the hotel for our group which consisted of children, parents, grandparents and friends.
We were lucky to have fabulous entertainment for our celebrations which consisted of snake charmers, camel rides, pottery makers and local stalls for us to purchase gifts.
The hotel is located 1.5hrs drive from Jaipur and close to Samode Palace where we were staying for three nights.
The Bagh is over 250 years old and is the garden retreat of the Samode Royal family.
It consists of 44 Royal tents, swimming pool, massage retreat with numerous tours available. The staff were brilliant offering excellent friendly service.
The gardens are gorgeous designed in the Char Bagh style with creative fountains and numerous water channels running through the gardens, it’s definitely a must do if looking for a unique and traditional experience on your journey through India. 🇮🇳
