Beautiful views, lovely rooms, excellent service. The approach road is quite uneven (but not the hotel's fault! ). We 5 pax, 3 rooms and all were very happy here.

Awesome palace great hospitality and delicious food.

It's a beautiful hotel located close to the airport, which is very convenient. The hotel has a Chinese look to it. The rooms from inside are beautifully blended with wood to give it the perfect look, with a window side for the beautiful view of the mountains. The service here is really good. A realtive of mine has a contact with the personel at the hotel through which we have been provided a car and the visiting plans to different places in the limited time we have here. The only small problem was the electricity outage that happened once or twice, but was quickly handled by the generator. Though one should expect such problems when visiting leh.

I'm sharing my shocking, horrible experience of our stay in Charu Palace with package tour of Nubra, Pangong & vehicle provided by them. Our programme was of arrival at Leh on 28th, stay there for couple of days then go to Diskit in Nubra valley on 30th, stay there for night, return to Leh next evening, stay at hotel in night, go to Pangong on 2nd return at night & on 3rd morning return to Delhi by 755 flight. Our flight on 28th could not land in Leh & returned to Delhi. Next flight available was on 29th morning so we took flight on 29th morning & reached hotel in morning. Due to one day lost we discussed with hotel ppl & changed our programme & went from Nubra to Pangong instead of coming back to Leh & then going to Pangong. That resort was also booked by Hotel ppl. After returning from Pangong their driver vanished & didn't reply phone. In night while making payments Their rep Dorje checked my flight time & advised that we shall leave around 530 as Leh airport is small & gets crowded in morning rush. I told him to phone driver as he is not picking our call & he agreed. In morning as neither driver came nor he picked call so I called hotel rep Delden (only number I was having) & told her that cab has not arrived, so either call him or make some arrangements fast & inform me. She agreed but didn't call me back & switched off her phone. Hotel reception is closed in morning. One room service boy I found & told him to call other responsible person.

One of the best properties in Leh! The location is what makes this property stand on the top although it is far from the main market (around 2km) It offers stunning view of shanti stupa with snow peaked mountains in the background. Ample seating space in the garden to relax and witness the beauty of the nature. The rooms are very large and cozy with all amenties in place. The restaurant serves excellent and lip smacking dishes ranging from north indian, south indian to continental food. The restaurant staff is very courteous and they will ensure that your stay at this place is memorable. The only drawback of this property is Wifi/Internet. During our entire stay at this property, we remained off from internet.

Hotel is neat and clean. Rooms are specious well ventilated big size. Food is so good Indian like home food. Wheat chapati rice khichadi etc. Some room newly constructed, sufficient lighting arrangement, hot water in morning and evening. Good room service. I stayed there with family for 5 five days in month may last till 8 th June. I am from Nagpur. Maharashtra,

Nice rooms, pleasant environment. Garden to hangout. The only problem is, it is almost 4-5 km away from the market. So every time u need to go there u need a cab. Food: 3/5 Staff: 4/5 Room:3/5 Environment :4/5
