Great view of the Dhauladhar ranges from the Terrace cafe, huge variety of breakfast and amazing cloud 7 restaurant.

All positive feedback except the very negative — they force for buffet dinner/lunch in revolving restaurant instead of ala-carte which is illegal Mangement should take remedial measures otherwise there will be dent in the fair reputation of R S Sarovar Portico.

This is a beautiful property in the middle of the town. Service is excellent — especially the front desk staff. Come here for the stunning views surrounding the property, stay for the excellent experience overall! And food is way better than others around.

A beautiful hotel with a picture perfect view, actually I was not thinking of getting such a nice hotel at this small city. The day I stayed at this hotel it was raining and surrounding area was looking so lovely from hotel room windows. Very polite and helpful team, Manager — Mr Ashish was really helpful during our stay. Delicious food and fun of having dinner at revolving rooftop restaurant was memory for lifetime. Sufficient parking and clean well appointed rooms make the stay perfect. Overall a nice experience…

What a wonderful hotel to stay in Palampur. We booked a family suite for 5 of us along with 2 toddlers and were provided with a 2 bedroom-home-balcony room. The food is good and they also serve you with a complimentary wine and chocolates. They also have a revolving restaurant, however, due to time constraint, I could not get a taste of it. Overall a flagship 4 star hotel in Palampur.

It was a nice place. Rooms are neat and clean. Staff was very nice. Very much satisfied with their food varieties, quality and taste. The relaxed ambience of the lounge is popular with guests. Overall it was the great experience.

Staff is cooperative and cleanliness is also good. There is a need to expand parking infrastructure. Rooms are easily available at affordable price. People can book onlone for cashback and other offers. Available for max. Rs. 6000. Awesome view and location.

Conveniently located and offers spectacular view of the dhauladhar range. The staff is friendly and helpful. The hotel offers unique dining options of which the revolving restaurant is a must try. The hotel can arrange for a wide range of adventure activities of which we tried the Jeep Safari which was worth the price.

Best option in Palampur. Price may vary seasonaly. Recommend for foreigners, Indian business travellers and tourists. 1 star less as they need to improve water temperature and supply to showers in bathrooms.

I had been here only for food. Although I would rate the ambience and the looks of the hotel to be real nice, the food is mediocre at best. The staff are courteous. But the menu has very few options, the buffet not very impressive. The revolving restaurant a bit inconvenient for a guest who wants to eat.

It's an awesome experience. We are here for just one day but the stay was enjoyable. We really enjoyed the food, scenic beauty of the nature. Staffs are really cordial. I recommend this hotel for official meeting purpose also.

It's a nice place to dine in the revolving restaurant at the top offering a majestic view of Himalaya. Food needs a lot of improvement. Otherwise, it has enough parking area which is at a premium in a small town like Palampur. Conference hall and clean rooms are available.

Nice happening place… One of its own kind in HP. A very nice revolving restaurant offering nice buffets. The terrace restaurant is a beauty and bar is very affordable.

Being basically from palampur, thought of visiting this new place with family. Ambience is no doubt great but very much disappointed with service and veg food order at Terrace.
We have to ask for glass of water after 15 mins we sat, same for ordering the food. There were no napkins fork and knives on table when food was served. Beer was served after 45 mins that too we are almost done with starters. Coke was served in cans as it is and not glasses.
Main course was also served quite late, chinese food item was good but veg food was not up to the mark. Overall I entered the place with great expectations but not happy when I left the place with family.

Good place to stay in Palampur. However did not find it worth. Stay was good. Rooms are good. We took a package that includes dinner and breakfast however if I talk about dinner there were no snacks in the dinner. Considering the fact it's a five star property and they consider themselves to be the best in Palampur they should at least have some snacks in dinner. Main attraction of this property is revolving restaurant which is amazing and gives you a nice view. Breakfast was served on the terrace which again had a very beautiful view. In breakfast they had variety to eat so totally satisfied with the options. Overall I did not find it worth what we have paid. Rest your choice.

This is a lovely place in Palampur. The revolving restaurant is like the iconic restaurant here. Buffet system for amazing food. Can't get enough of it. Can be slightly expensive but nothing you'll regret after visiting this place. The view outside covers the mountain and the town. Giving the perfect view of what Palampur is all about.

This is the best hotel here in Palampur. I just love this place. Rooms are beautifully furnished with every necessities available. Here the best thing I consider was the Revolving Restaurant and the view from up there was just fantastic. Food was delightful. But most importantly, the staff is very helpful and cooperative. Our booking in this hotel was for 2 nights but somehow the second night booking wasn't confirmed and we got this information after reaching hotel, maybe some issue was there from website where we did booking, but the hotel staff very nicely managed and booked another resort for us. Overall I would say it's worth of spending money here and it's a great place to visit and stay with family or with friends.

This hotel was like the heaven the 2 floor was awesome at the night the view of whole palampur was very very beautiful n in sarovar portico I'm in top of the world. The good thing is that the food was like home made food less oily. ☺☺☺☺☺☺☺☺i love it.

RS Sarovar Portico is a b'ful property and I guess till date the best venue in palampur and its revolving restaurant concept is new in town and an attraction point for the visitors. The staff and ambience was excellent n rooms tend to give a great view of the outside beauty. Felt happy to have been stayed here.

Amazing view of whole Palampur in daytime. Nice place to spend time. Variety of food is available in buffet system. Food is like homely food and healthy as they make less oily vegetables. Bar is also really good with a great ambiance.

It's the only "great" restaurant at Palampur. It has best ambience, decent crowd, very decent prompt staff and service, and has a class. Food is buffet system, and from starters to desserts, you can feel great cullenrary work happening there. And during daytime you get the best view of entire Palampur valley. In Palampur I like only this place to have a dine or to some extent Neugal Cafe's lawn in sunny winter days.

Fantastic service and facilities with stunning views! Amazing travel desk run by a company named Exsul which meant we were able to do HEAPS of great local activities including parasailing, tramping, jeep safari, explore Mcleodganj and local village tour during our limited time there. The team at Exsul were really helpful and friendly too! Gave us advice not only for our local trip but also wider tour of India with contacts of their own and recommendations. They're like one amazingly knowledgeable family who welcome everyone to their beautiful town. We will definitely be going back :)
