Really an awesome restaurant, you even get a desert (pastry) in a thali, no need to pay for it… awesome food and a number of cuisines… I am giving it a 4 star, as it has limited recipes in the Indian cuisine…

This was the first place I went to to eat. And I was not disappointed at all! Their coconut cake is amazing! The tea is perfect. The food is amazing. And the view is perfect. Staff is friendly too. ❤️❤️

The room was big and simple. We had a big shared terrace with chairs to sit and admire the landscape. The location was really good, apart from the noisy center but close of everything. The restaurant was nice, also with terrace. The staff was very kind. Our room was separated from the recepcion and the Wi-Fi didn't work properly.

Rooms are good and big. It is at perfect location but they should provide complementary drinking water. Otherwise it is perfect.

Clean place, nice vegetarian food, I loved the cheese potatoe momos. The balcony it's really nice and they have a lot of nice flowers. The waiters are really nice and fast and the hostesses are kind and happy. I loved the apple cake with a king cappuccino. Enjoy!

Second day in McLeodganj, I had my breakfast at green hotel. I ordered a Canadian breakfast. It was something new for me to explore because I have not eaten Canadian style meal ever but it was not something which made me feel wow! But it was good to eat that meal. Their Tibetan bread is nice. Though the egg could have been little less cooked but that's ok. I like the potato thing which was served in it. I also visited this place one more time, that day I ordered a burger which was made of vegetables — which really excited me but the only thing which I did not like was it was too oily. But the concept of the patty made of vegetables was nice.

Delicious food, nice comfy rooms and beautiful room from the balcony. Was a wonderful experience. I would like to be back here again.

Restaurant located in the main market area of McLeod Ganj on the road towards BhagsugaNag. Ambience is lovely with a good view of the mountain ranges from the balcony. Food is awesome serving Tibetan, Indian, and other international cuisines. Must visit for a memorable experience and good food.

Piping hot water, clean soft beds, service from staff is above and beyond, spectacular view, great location, and Momos freshly made! What more could you ask for?! Will be back again!

This place has simply become a hype. Very unprofessional services. Sad thing is they serve the order based on the customer's skin color too.

I loved the room especially the view from the balcony. The room and bathroom was clean and hygienic. The staff was polite and rooms were decently priced. I just wished there were thick curtains in the room because due to the large glass window and thin curtains, I used to wake up as soon as it was sunrise.

The location is good to stay, but the hotel is. Unreasonable high in price. And as a pre caution, "Don't even try the food by mistake". And also they don't give tea of. Morning until uh go and wake up them by urself. If u r lucky so you may get a bed tea by 10 am. (if you know what I mean)

Not too shabby I've visited Mcleod ganj 3 times I stayed here twice Decent hotel with clean rooms. Food is also good. Staff is nice. Location is good and it's quite value for money I'd say.

Green Hotel is a choice stay for its great location, only 5 minutes away from the main "square". It's close enough to be convenient but yet far enough to be one of the quieter options during the night for a relatively good sleep. The view is quite stunning from the balcony, but don't leave anything out ços the occasional monkey pops by. The staff and service is really good, and they always make sure to resolve any issue. We had problems with two things — the Wi-Fi, which was resolved but still stayed a little unreliable, and the hot water, which we just couldn't figure out how to work properly. Otherwise, a really nice property to stay in and free from any dreaded steps to their entrance that some others may have.

Careful with the money that you leave in the room.

Cosy and comfortable room with a view on the mountains. Central and yet quiet. The ladies at the reception are the best, they wre helpful and friendly and took care of me as if they were family. I will totally recommend this place for solo woman travellers.

A nice hotel on the road of bhagsu naag temple in macleodganj.

I had a very nice experience at this hotel. I stayed for 2 nights in Jun17 and had a comfortable and cozy stay. The eating area is good. The rooms at the top have a single balcony each that face the Dhauladhars. The views are beautiful and there's limited seating space for 2-3 people in the balcony. The room and bathroom are spacious. The bathrooms and sanitary fittings are very nice. There's a nice foyer in the front of the rooms on the second floor that also serves as seating area. One can enjoy the weather when it rains outside, including in the balcony. The street is quiet at night and the beds are really food. The sleep quality was quite good. The food and service in the restaurant is good. The staircase is slightly narrow but considering the space in the town, it is good.

Great staff. Pristine location (in the market) with quaint rooms. Evrything from shopping, cabs, bus stop to sightseeing is at walking distance from the hotel. Neat and clean rooms with a view.

Was a nice hotel. It was very close to the Mcleodgang Square in the road which heads to Bhagsu Nag. The staff were very warm and the restaurant was great. A lot of monks come here and chill too. The outdoor terrace restaurant overlooks the hill ranges. The rooms are a bit old but it does not come in the way of enjoying the place.

Such an amazing place. Cozy rooms with surreal view and tasty food to go along with. Warm and welcoming staff!

Good service and menu… plus smoking and non-smoking areas…!

Just avoid the burgers here and don't be hasty to order. Except this is a wonderful place, quiet, comfy, and Wi-Fi OK. Cakes and pies are worth it :)

The place earns all the points on ambience, comfort and location. Whereas, on service and quality of food offered it wasn't anywhere near satisfactory. It took approximately an hour to get our order of 3 Indian thali, 1 Green special chowmein and a cappuccino. All this wait turned a futile exercise as food was below ordinary and service quite sad. I hope they show a concern to put everything in line for improved customer experience.

I went to the restaurant of green hotel, and it is famous café in McLeodganj. It's quaint and offers good food options. Italian, Tibetan, Chinese and Indian. I would definitely recommend this place a visit.

We stayed in Green Hotel for 3 nights and all went well. Hotel is located very close to pretty much everything in McLeod Ganj and the staff is very friendly. The room and the bathroom were quite clean. The hot water 24/7 is extremely good, but there was very little water coming out of the shower. The hotel is very good for backpackers and if you don't expect luxury. Would definitely stay there again if coming back to Dharamshala.
