It was fun visiting Dharampura Haveli and having the tasting menu for Lunch. The Haveli is unique, the service good, the view from the rooftop nostalgic. They could innovate a bit with the mains and the desserts.

Sadly we were here only one night but would have gladly stayed longer had our trip included more of Dehli. Loved the location for it's centrality and the space and staff are great.

The location was breathtaking and the staff was very friendly. The waiters were just perfect! It was an unforgettable experience. Thank you so much!

Absolutely magical: my daughter and I loved our 3 nights there and wished we could have stayed longer. Our rooms, the staff, and food (breakfast and dinner, drinks and snacks on the roof terrace) were superb, as was the traditional music and dancing! Loved it!

Overall experience at haveli was amazing amd my whole family had a fun time. The staff was really good, and our server bhim attended to each of our needs. The atmosphere and interior was very impressive and food was excellent.

The Haveli was a delightful place to stay right in the thick of things in old Delhi. The staff were genuine and courteous… especially Amit, who served us in the restaurant and enjoyed conversing all things cricket with my equally cricket addicted aunt. The superb architectural beauty and the delicious airconditioned rooms were a welcome relief from the oppressive heat and dust of Delhi.
True, it’s hard to get to and it should be said, not really suitable for people with walking difficulties but once inside it’s a genuine oasis.

I went to haveli dharampura on 12th june 2019 with my family and they charged me twice… after dinner I paid my bill by card … they told me that my card is not working after they swipe it… than I paid cash to them … after 15 mins I received mail from my bank that my account is debited… next day when I call haveli dharampura they told me that they dint receive any amount… then I mailed them my debit mess … then again they told me wait for 72 hrs we will contact you… but its already more than 20 days … no call nothing … no reply of my mail.

Not value for money… Too expensive for the price I paid… Very bad service and not as per what I paid them… Location is very conjusted… Neighbourhood is very cheap kind of public… But the most important is that they are charging as if its a 5 star resort but after I paid and got inside I felt like I wasted my money… Would never like to go there in my life…

Its just about ok. The service is slow, food is average and no one actually makes you feel welcome. They don't endeavour to show you around or let you into the past of the heritage building. So the experience is not worth it. If one has to brave the traffic, trudge through narrow, dirty lanes, the destination should be outstanding. Well it is not.

The place is not easy to get to — so be prepared for a crowded traffic laden journey and a final walk to get here. However, once you enter everything changes. Excellent food, excellent service, lovely place. Worth coming here and highly recommended.

This is a hidden gem of Delhi. I went there long time back but still remember the ambience and food. Everything was so top notch. Haveli is very well maintained, food is delicious, and to keep up the ambience level high they arrange for some special performances. It's expensive but totally worth it.

The approach road gave a loathsome and disgusting feeling. The attitude of waiters was very upsetting. It gave a feeling of having been an unwanted place.

It is located in a narrow street only approachable by foot. The food was good, though they were celebrating the mango festival and everything was mango themed. The dance performances we had heard much about was limited to a single Kathak performance. Might be better to visit in winters when you can sit in the open areas and enjoy the entertainment. The haveli might be exotic to the foreigners but as local Delhiites we found it so so. Rajasthani havelis are more intricate.

My Worst Haveli Experience till date. The manager of the restaurant is very rude. Less waiters, unprofessional behavior and food we got cold paranthas which where not cooked fresh. If you are visiting this place because it's Haveli — DON'T M haveli fan but this was a huge disappointment.

Excellent restaurant Lakhori — the set tasting menu on the weekends is to die for if you want Old Delhi North Indian. Hotel is also very pretty.

So let's start with the location of this hotel. It is worth noting that the hotel is not accessible by a car. You have to walk through a narrow walkway to get to the hotel from the main road. The neighborhood is questionable at best and I wouldn't recommend if you have safety as your priority. This is a residential neighborhood and as we walked to the hotel, people living in the apartment buildings just throw garbage out the window that may or may not land on your head. The rooms were cramped at best… I don't know which airy rooms they pictured but I can assure you our rooms looked nothing like that. There was barely enough space to walk around the beds to get to the bathroom. The bathrooms were old and in need of many upgrades. I would never book this property again and would not recommend to anyone. I found the hotel management to be deceptive and withholding important information that may lead someone to make a different decision about booking this hotel.

Nice Ambience. Little bit on the expensive date. Good option if you want to crank up the notch for a date.

Good for foreigners. Nice property and food. Only downy is access from a narrow crowded lane with only few parking lot.

The set menu available on weekends is a great way to get the know Indian cuisine at its best. Along with an all too brief glimpse of Indian dance in a wonderful setting.

An outstanding property with great location, right next to Jama Masjid and lots of choice of shopping. You feel like a novel staying with them but the narrow streets can be a hurdle at times for your vehicles in day time. Staff is more welcoming to foreigners only.

The location is not good on tbe outside and there are steep steps. Taxis cannot drive you tight up so there is a very dark alley to walk up to reach the hotel. Is it a beautiful old building that is renovated. Rooms are good. Thete is a small lift. Wi-Fi was good.

I get to eat there with my partner. The vegetarian food was very basic but the building very nice. The touristy atmosphere did not like it, most people eating there were tourists and I felt it was because the prices were too high. I'm not coming back.

A boutique gem in the heart of Old Delhi. Only disappointment was the price of the alcohol — extortionate! Service could be a little better too. Would stay again.

The food is amazing and even after eating such aheavy course, you're stomach still remains perfect which gives a proof for the quality. The location is perfect and amazing. 2800 for each person somehow felt worth.

This is a review for the Classical Kathak Dance evening at the restaurant: The meal is not cheap, but one still leaves completely stuffed. Everything was a more polished version of classical local and national dishes and was well-prepared and tasty. The space itself was gorgeous; I really enjoyed exploring each floor. I wish there had been a bit more dancing, but I quite enjoyed seeing the two small shows (which occur in between courses). The service was also impeccable. They even called a cab for us, and escorted us to the cab. (The restaurant is located in a bit of a maze of narrow Old Delhi streets that are not taxi-accessible. )

Walking distance from Jamaica Masjid. The Hotel is a good place to stay in the heart of Old Delhi. It is managed by ITC and has every facility one may desire for. The restaurant is amazing too and priced decently. All in all a good visit.

Superbly renovated 200 yr old Haveli in Old Delhi. Great restaurant in an atmospheric setting. Also has accommodation.

Appalling service! I've been to this hotel many times and I live in delhi, mostly for food or for drinks on the roof with friends/visiting family. Normally I've been pleased with the service, however I was shocked today by the rude staff, appalling service and refusal to serve me or my partner drinks/snacks despite always in the past being allowed to do this on the roof/bar. Also the instance on a 350inr per person cover charge which has not existed in the four other occasions I have visited!
I will be telling everyone not to use this hotel in the future when they visit old Delhi, which is. A real shame as I previously enjoyed it.

Right in the center of old Delhi, a haveli turned into restaurant and hotel. Amazing food, amazing ambience, great service, live music & 360 degree view of old Delhi from the rooftop. Perfect place to enjoy a romantic evening.

This place doesn't quite work as the Oasis it claims to be. Whilst the rooms have been done well, the other spaces in the hotel are not comfortable. Furniture is uninteresting and already, after a year, the place feels a little down at heel. Front desk is anything but welcoming offering no help to get around outside which is hugely challenging. I so would have loved to have had some helpful staff to provide me with some clues as to how best to enjoy the amazing life outside.

Had dinner there with a big group. Stunningly restored haveli with a multi-level courtyard, beautiful rooms, rooftop deck with impressive views. Staff was very attentive without being overbearing.

Went here for a work dinner event, good food and authentic atmosphere, was treated a performance of traditional Indian dance as well.

Unique experience is the selling point for the place. Food, service, ambience — everything is great — but it's how everything is packaged together around a 150 year old renovated Haveli is why you should go there!

Amazingly restored architecture in the heart of old Delhi. We had a banquet of sort in the restaurant on the ground floor, the food was excellent and the service was efficient and friendly. The atmosphere is fantastic, especially if you can make it up to the roof terrace and have a look at the Delhi night sky.

Beautiful, nice hotel at a great — but VERY hard to find — location. Staff is clumsy. Really, consistently clumsy. Our whole room was not cleaned several times, after we had asked to leave one or two items alone. Even after reminders it was not cleaned. We had to ask for 30+ minutes for small orders. When we gently complained the manager did not respond, denied and then fell silent. Staff seemed generally clueless. It is a shame that the stay in such a nice place was quite influenced by this experience.

A "not to be missed" experience. Awesome. Awesome coz this is a dining experience for Conosieurs of fine food and an interest in Life in Purani Dilli ki gallian. You walk thru the most narrow lanes you can imagine and hit the Haveli Dharampl just as you are wondering if it really is going to be worth it. And then you enter the majestic Haveli gates. And get bowled over. The decor immediately takes you back to the pre-independence days. You almost imagine you are in the midst of Mirza Ghalib and are part of the life and legends of Purani Dilli The narrow Galli or lanes with tall Havelis in either side dont leave you claustrophobic but in awe of the hustle and bustle of traders living and transacting here in "Purani Dilli". This is an amazing dining experience where you leisurely enjoy the most authentic traditional fare and the most authentic historic environment. Legendary.

A good place to visit if you want to connect with past of purani dilli to see how havelis were in that time however menu is boring and way too expensive and staff is illiterate.

NOT worth, IT Was too hot at the TerraCe, we can only see jama maszid and lal qila, nothing grt,, just to see they charged 350 per person. 2 floors werre closed, Very costly, They are only for foreign tourist. They have organised kite flying on a small roof, and ppl were sitting in a hot climate in open ufff. Pathetic. its. INDIA,, plz DONT missuse ppl.

Nice ambience, one could feel the heritage culture of old Delhi. Price on higher end but it's fine if you could afford a luxury.

Soups Tamatar Dhaniya Shorba and Green salad along with entertainment such as live music in weekdays and kathak dance performances in weekends.

We went here on 28th March evening for dinner. We were 6 people. Made reservations as guided by one if our friends who spoke highly about the place. The property is actually interesting. Tastefully renovated to woo to both foreign and Indian customers who would love to spend some time amidst heritage. But food was a major disappointment.
Being a weekday only ala carte was available with very kess options. The portions were too small and the food was just average and for that it was way overpriced. The only brownie points might be for the ambience and the place but food and pricing is a let down. The buffet might be better as generally everyone talks about the buffet but our rxperience was just OK.

HeritageGroup Haveli Dharampura is not just a luxury heritage hotel. It's a gateway into the sights, sounds and food that characterise Old Delhi. Built in 1887, the Mughal-style hotel is named Haveli Dharampura after the word 'Dharam' i. E. Religion; Jama Masjid, Sis Ganj Gurudwara and Lal Mandir is mere minutes away! As is Red Fort, Karims and the bazaars of Chandni Chowk! So, it's no wonder I was excited about my stay. Exiting Chawri Bazaar metro station, and a rickshaw up… to Jama Masjid Gate 3, I was pleased to find someone from the hotel management waiting to take my baggage down the narrow alley to the formidable entrance of the hotel. Once the formalities was completed I was welcomed with a garland and tikka on the forehead, and escorted up to my room on the second floor — it's possibly the only property in the area with a lift! It was interesting that my room was themed 'Jharoka' — it was embellished with art deco interiors, stained glass art and faced the central courtyard with its beautiful fountain below and the rooftop a floor above. I couldn't wait to explore! Since it was 1 p. M. I made my way down to their sole restaurant Lakhori and ordered the specialty — Dahi Puri. When the server brought me a plate of four dahi puris accompanied by shot glasses topped with tamarind juice and jaljeera, I devoured it in moments, and ordered seconds! That too was demolished in no time!

Awesome food. Amazing vibes. This place is heaven if you love Heritage. This is built over a renovated Haveli and serves as a restaurant, hotel and heritage site. The restaurant offers a la carte during weekdays and fine-dining buffet during weekends. The weekends are expensive due to performances, usually folk or classical dances can be enjoyed along with the food. Beautiful place. Must visit at least once.

Haveli Dharampura — The place is also known as “Goel Sahab Ki Haweli” in the nearby zone. The place is located in the narrow lanes of Chandni Chowk. To be there, exit from Chawri Bazaar metro station, take a rickshaw and step down at gate no-03 of Jama Masjid. The lane just left to it goes to the place. It a hidden and serene beauty amongst the busy lanes of Chandni Chowk. Its one of the perfect examples and must visit place as the restored traditional monuments in Delhi. “Lakhori” — means textured, raw finish, thin sized flexible bricks which were majorly used in the past for constructing these forts and monuments because of the strength and hold of the same. The haveli has 13 rooms all having its unique features and reflects the mughal traditional craftsmanship all over. LAKHORI is their restaurant name which is based on the ground floor. They have got a lovely terrace and you can spot famous monuments such as The Red Fort, Jama Masjid, etc. If you are lucky enough, you can also watch the pet pigeons “KabootarBaaji” happening in the nearby zones. The service was something that will make your dining experience awesome. And the staffs were nice dressed up in the traditional attire, courteous and friendly in nature and perfect at their job.
The restaurant has a warm, cozy ambiance making it an excellent choice for family meals/dates/special meals with friends. I honestly couldn’t believe that such a beautiful Haveli exists in the by-lanes of Chandni Chowk.
