Best place to stay in shillong. Always recommend.

Hotel rooms are good but it is little bit inside of the main Street so big bus or car can't go inside properly otherwise it is a nice hotel to stay.

Great food and management.

Nice play for a quiet stay. The lodge has 7 rooms in 3 floors and has a great view from the roof. It is at a height and you can see the stadium from the roof. Host is nice and hospitable, food was good, they can make based on your choice so we had mostly north Indian food and it was great. There is a steep car parking inside the building but you need to be an expert to maneuver the car. Overall a pleasant stay. Shillong is a nice place overall with amazing temperatures in May end. While the whole of Assam was hot, Shillong was a cool 19 degrees. We enjoyed our stay and travel within Shillong. We visited Cherrapunji, Mawsmai caves, living root bridge, and some amazing falls like the seven sisters.

One of the most awesome place I have been. The owner are and administratives are brother and sister who are very very kind. Also, the supporting staff was very kind and made us feel at home. The view from the top is also good.

Location is hard to find and a bit costly. But enjoyed my stay here. You will love the place, interiors and the owner. Very cozy and beautiful for relax stay. Breakfast was very gud.

I just love this place, reasonable price, delicious food (momo), very very very helpful owner George. If you are visiting North East for first time, please contact him, he is very helpful. He also helps tourists with taxi bookings to see around.

Average stay. Doesn't have a good parking space. Food is not that good. Room's are OK. And the location is not that easy to find. Far from major tourist attractions.

George (owner) is extremely helpful. Ask for help and he will do it for you. Rooms needs some improvement though. Like Geyser aren't working properly, you might get 2 seperate bed (concerns for couples), lack of charging ports, bathroom and rooms are pretty old schooled. Stuffs are super quick. Cook is a real gem here. We were there with 9 members, took 3 rooms for 5 days.

Very near to Laitumkhrah market. You can get a full view of Shillong from the terrace. They have own parking space if you're traveling with own car. They provide sufficient breakfast. Food whatever you order here it looks like of high price, but they serve food of almost three people with one order. I would always recommend to stay here.

Understanding and polite owner. He helped not only me but also my friends to find a place to stay when shillong was fully jam packed during NH7 Weekender music festival. Roomes were spacious and neat n clean.

We stayed in the Family Room at the Shillong Hills Guest House in October, 2017. The room was spacious, clean and good for families with toddlers. It had a four seater dining table and a five seater sofa set. We were taken care of very well. Guest house is at a walking distance from the market. The host, George is a very nice person and even helped us arrange a cab to cherrapunji, dawki and back to guwahati. His friend Rapbor took us around and ensured that we saw all the nearby places. We wouldve had an average trip had it not been for them. Needless to say, I'm certain I'm going to stay at the guest house for any future visits.

This place is really nice. Got a good view. Rooms and bathrooms are clean. And the host is really helpful, will come running at any time during day or night. Wish the call ring in the room worked, though.

It's really a good place to stay. Specially George is a nice person & all the staff are really good. They are very cooperative. And specially the night view from roof was amazing.

One of the best service I have got till now. The owners are really humble and helpful. Especially grace ma'am. She even took my friend to hospital in mid night when she was feeling sick. They provided everything on time. And the total environment was really cozy and home feeling.

The view is the best part of the guesthouse. The rooms are clean and decent and quite spacious. Conventional stores, restaurants, taxi stand and hospitals are located at walking distance. However, the hospitality of the people running the guesthouse tops everything else. Grace herself drove us to a hospital because my sister became sick. They took our dinner order even after the ordering time. Loved the homely stay. Thank you for the hospitality Grace and adhering to all our requests including giving us rooms at last minute booking. If I ever visit Shillong again, I will definitely stay here.

George, the host is very cool and helpful. The rooms are large and clean. The view of Shillong from the terrace, where everyone can chill out, is pretty fantastic.

Mr George is a very good host the food is awesome especially the Aloo paranthas not to be missed out at all. Everything is reasonably priced. Looking for a leisure trip with good scenic views this guest house is the best reward you can give to yourselves. I would rate it 100% value for money.

Far from the crowd a peaceful solitude was waiting for us in shillong guest house. Everything was perfect. The room, the food, that amazing view. And a very cooperative and smiling host George. Thanks for making our holiday so beautiful.

Its new, so its clean. Well located with a great view of Polo hills.

Clean rooms, free Wi-Fi and complimentary breakfast at a budget price sums this place up. The owner George makes sure there is no problem during the stay and also helps in planning out the itineraries. Recommended if you are spending a lot of time sight seeing and need a decent place to crash at night.

Owner is good and cooperative. Would suggest to stay in a hotel in police bazaar. It is 5 lbs inside the Assam shilling highway.
