Our recent stay at Tranquilandia was very good, more so thanks to the personal touch by the owners Mr Shahul and Mrs Sandrine. It is located in the midst of greenery with the sweet melodies of birds to keep you company. Not to forget the daily visit by beautiful peacocks! Very homely and excellent meals. Great place to seek shelter from the crowded and noisy cities!
À great experience. Sandrine and her husband are great hosts. They gave us a warm and friendly welcome, means are amazing. If you want to make a break, in a quiet and friendly place, just go! You will enjoy a very nice stay!

I gave four stars to this place not because they do not deserve 5 stars but because people expect a 5 star resort kind of a treatment if a place gets a 5 star review.
Tranquilindia is not a resort. Don't come with that baggage in mind. It is a homestay run by a very lovely couple who take personal interest in each guest's satisfaction. The rooms are basic, naturally constructed, but very neat and clean and comfortable. There is a village like charm to it.
Being situated in a remote location near forest area, with a very small town in close vicinity, please do not expect resort style pseudo-nature, artificially landscaped environment. You will be disappointed.
There is a wild charm to the place because that is how it has been maintained. There are naturally growing trees, plenty of birds if you care to sit and observe. The pool is clean, and in a natural setting so it's bound to have leaves falling in the water.
We booked at the last minute and the hosts were accomodating, conversations were lovely, the breakfast was delicious and bonus was meeting the pet dogs and cat.
