Totally worst Room.

They will give you A/C room but A/C won't works.
Wash is full worst.

They will say breakfast included they wont provide.
Not a suggested Place to go.

Very rude behaviour of the owner. We did not liked the rooms and got confused with wind chimes hotel and homestay.
The owner asked for full payment very rudely and was forcing to stay at the hotel which was literally a 10x10 feet room for 4 people.
When we refused to stay at the hotel no refund or half payment was provided saying we wont give it back and we had to leave the hotel without getting back our advance payment.

Very bad.
This hotel is scam.
In photos they have shown big rooms and in real rooms are very small.
They will thug you if you ask for refund.
Not.
Recommended.

Wind chimes is so pathetic place rooms are dirty, bed bugs are more, and they scam people if you forget to mention that you made advance booking Mr Raja big time scammer I made 12000 in credit card and balance 2000 in cash for 3 rooms and I literally forgot to take advance money 2000 when I called he said that 2000 which I paid in cash was not given him I askd to check camera. He his deleted and saying data not available for that particular date and even spoke to his owner he his not bothered.
Plz don’t go more of bed bugs stinky place. Be careful while ordering food even they cheat for more money.

The staff is very kind, cooperative and excellent customer centric. The place is just 100mtrs to the less crowded, Auroville beach, where you get a feeling of private beach experience. Breakfast is delivered from outside tie up, which is kinda OK but not that great though. An indoor restaurant would be great plus. Room AC is also connected to genset, which is good, when it is switched ON, as soon as the power goes off, than being reactive. Entire Puducherry and Auroville areas have frequent power cuts.
In summary, one can revisit the hotel many no. Of times.

We got stuck in with a poor service cottage and due to its ambience we checked out that hotel and moved to this hotel. Here the stay is good with proper room service's and cleanliness. Mr. Raja took friendly care in service and for the price its reasonable and worthy to stay.

We had a very mediocre experience while staying here. Since we visited this place during the time of New year the cost of the rooms were double the rate which was a whopping 5 k approximately. We were provided only one blanket for two people which is not an ideal scenario when two people are not from the same family. Since we went through the organising team we were here on twin sharing and after multiple requests we were given 2 single blankets. They do not have continuous hot water running but it even takes an hour or more for the water to get hot after the geyser / heater is switched on. Since it was chilly we hardly took a bath in the morning and left for exploration. The only upsides of this hotel is that it is in close proximity to the Auroville beach. The hotel is also very far from the city centre. This hotel does not have any food service inside we have to order from outside. This hotel can improve more if taken care of all these things. They do not have a phone but we have to go down every time if we need anything. Not worth the price we paid for the stay.

We stayed for a single night in this great resident, we had a bitter experience. We reached their on Friday Eve 6:30pm (15th of Dec-2023) booked for 1 day. The next morning v planned to move for pichavaram, where 2 Hours travel time from pondy. Because of Raining we reached delay there, they stopped boating for a while due to rainy. We started from pichavaram at 4:30pm & reached wind chimes hotel at 6:45pm (16th Sat Eve). The Manager & the other staff (Saravanan) behaviour was very Rude becoz of our delay … I explained them about a natural bad weather circumstances. But they won't even hear that. Finally they charged a HALF DAY ROOM CHARGE as I paid ₹3000-/+ ₹200 extra for a cleaning staff also. Even I paid extra for a half day charge instead of 2 hour delay, I won't get any respect from those staffs. They are squeezed us from our Rooms. They won't gave us even 20 mins to pack our baggages. Me and my family worried a lot becoz of their behaviour.
As per your Rule v paid half day charge for an excess hours (delay checkout) y can't u people treated as like an illiterate. V loss our Dignity there. Please Never do like this for your clients in future. That day we are under pressure I was ready to make a written complaint against your residence. But I don't have a valid bill with me. If I have that I definitely file a consumer safety complaint on you people. Please don't do it for anybody in future.

Difficult to reach the place because it's in Tamilnadu, so pondicherry auto drivers will charge you double, if you can rent a scooty and drive, this will be the cheapest place you can stay. Serenity beach is near to this place but not a clean place at all. The food was okayish. The service was okay. For cheap travelling with scooty or personal vehicles, you may choose this place.

Hi This is the place located very nearer to Beach and while traveling will able to experience the Beach view travel from bus experienced at here (Hotel) at evening, Good location and well behaved staffed.

Sharing my experience.
Rooms & Service:
1. I am a teetotaller. I found black color CK cigarets in my room after a day stay. So, I dont know, if the house keeping didnt clean the room diligently or someone went inside while I was already lodged. Staff claimed that there are CCTV but didnt answer on cigaret. Due to all of this we vacated early from the hotel.
2. There is no breakfast or lunch/dinner service in the hotel. You will have to order food from outside and get it delivered.
3. The location is good. Its walking distance to the beach.

Very near to beach in just a 2 min walk v ll b in beach which is not much crowded too. Value for money. And good caring and good service 💕 thanks for wind chimes 🙏🙏🙏

Located on a narrow road were 2 cars cant cross. It is very close to beach but the beach is not clean and apt for families. Parking area is very congested so that your wake up time depends on your neighbours check out time. No toiletries or towels. Rooms were not very clean but they applied some room spray. Spiderwebs spotted everywhere in the room and false ceiling was starting to decay. Water bottle and Wi-Fi available on demand. Breakfast provided was OK although there is no restaurant inside this hotel. But the price they charged was 3k which is not at all worthy for the service and facilities got.

Stay too much overpriced compared to location, Location is around 6-7 km away from White Town or Aurobindo Ashram or the main tourist places, even from the good dining places. So you always need a vehicle with you for travelling to places. After 9 PM the place becomes dark and very unsafe, even the local people and crowd not good. The beach behind this property is not clean and not suitable for family. They do not adjust much on some delayed checkout or early check-in, will charge you once its over 24 hours. So make it clear to them before going for the full payment. They can say yes to whatever you say at the time of payment but can change their mind anytime afterwards. Car parking is to conjested here not but least better carry one blanket if u book room here. They will provide only one blanket for double bed room.
