Had a wonderful stay at Ocean Spray! The resort offers a perfect blend of comfort, peace, and relaxation. The property is beautifully maintained, with a large swimming pool and a serene atmosphere that makes it an ideal getaway. The rooms were spacious, clean, and well-kept throughout our stay.
The overall service was excellent, and the staff made us feel truly welcomed. We had a memorable experience and look forward to visiting again soon!

We came here for a 2-days with our 2-year-old child, and it was a wonderful experience. The view from our room was beautiful, and the staff and service were excellent throughout our stay. The food was very good, and the resort was perfect for relaxation, which was exactly what we were looking for.
A special mention to Mr. Manogaran, who was very humble. He interacted warmly with our child, which made our stay even more memorable.
Overall, we had a really pleasant experience with great food, excellent service, and a relaxing atmosphere. We would definitely recommend this resort to families looking for a peaceful getaway.

Huge shoutout to Murugan at reception for the smooth welcome. Senthil, Giri, and Angel at the restaurant provided amazing service and were super attentive. Rajesh at the star gazing activity was great, and the kayaking and pool staff were incredibly helpful and made the activities a lot of fun. The outdoor infrastructure of the resort is wonderful—really beautiful layout and great to walk around. The rooms are decent and comfortable. When it comes to the food, the taste is very good and the food quantity is a lot, so you definitely get huge portions.
Great place, mostly because the hospitality is so top-notch! Muralidhar was very attentive to mi ute details. He was kind to give food to feed fish.

We stayed at Pondicherry Ocean spray resort for 2 days to celebrate my husband’s birthday, and it turned out to be a memorable getaway.
The highlight for us was the ambience. The resort is beautifully surrounded by water, which gave the entire place a calm and refreshing vibe. The swimming pool and rooms were maintained spotlessly clean and neat. We stayed in garden view twin room. The room was comfortable, well-furnished. Bathroom has small bathtub.
Breakfast was complimentary. Food was excellent in terms of taste. The only downside was that the pricing was a bit on the higher side, but given the quality and overall experience, it felt justified for a special occasion. A special mention to the staff for surprising us with a ½ kg complimentary cake for my husband’s birthday. That small gesture made the celebration even more special.
Overall, a great place for a peaceful stay.

Beautiful property, would be better if renovated and well maintained. No major complaints just lack of overall cleanliness n upgradation — huge pool but has chipped tiles and leeches in the pool walls, changing room not very tidy, lot of algae and moss in the lake, improper draining in the bathroom shower cubicle, dirty towels, balcony chair was not in a useable condition to enjoy the nice view.
They have a beach in walkable distance, many fishermen use the area so its not clean enough. The resort bar has a decent ambience but the cocktails were very bad. However, the restaurant & food there was quite good. Service was prompt and very nice staff.
Over all, to maintain their ratings, they definitely need to renovate and improve maintenance.

One of the worst stays I’ve had in the last few years.
Very poorly maintained property. Looked like an OYO hotel.
Crowd was very bad. We had paid 18k per night as we had booked in the last minute. But the services and the hotel is not worth more than 4K per night.
Usually I book directly as to save on some last minute deals instead of going though aggregators.
When I called and asked for activities the lady who took the booking told me that all amenities and activities are there. But in person half the things didn’t work and whatever worked were charged. Except for the swimming pool nothing else was worth it. But even the pool was dirty with bottles and diapers around and floating.
They tell satin clothes are mandatory but not even 10% of the crowd followed it. There were no life guards in the swimming area too.
Food was very average and the toilet accessories were of super bad quality. Honestly not worth the 36k that we paid for 2 nights.
Plus for some basic children activities we paid more than 4K.
The location is on road, but the management and the hotel is super old school and is not worth it at all.
We checked out and stayed at K Resort today as this was super bad and not worth it at all.
If you are travelling as a family I wouldn’t recommend here. There were bachelors who behaved so rude and senseless and no common sense and consideration for family crowd.
Please do not get to this hotel if you want to have a good time.

I had a wonderful experience at the beach resort. The serene ocean view, clean surroundings, and soothing sound of the waves made the stay truly relaxing. The staff were warm and courteous, the rooms were comfortable, and the food was delicious. Overall, it was a refreshing and memorable getaway that I would happily recommend.

Ocean Spray is located right on Chennai Pondicherry highway and connects well to sightseeing places (15 kms before Pondicherry). The property is well spread in about 23 acres and amenities are good. Rooms are well maintained however exteriors like balconies, pond, etc. Requires better cleaning. The staffs are good but not friendly. They are approachable but none of them carried a smiling or courteous face except for one buggy driver. Multiple follow up for a newspaper was not attended to.

Not a value for money place.
The overall experience at Ocean Spray was disappointing and did not meet expectations for a resort of this scale.
The breakfast buffet was served in a very cheap-looking ambience. Cutlery was dirty, food counters were not refilled on time, and coffee was surprisingly served in paper cups, which felt extremely substandard for a resort environment.
In the room, the bathroom flush was not working, which further added to the discomfort and inconvenience.
The only positive aspect of the stay was the resort layout. The lawn, pond, and pool area are well planned and visually pleasant, giving the property good potential. Unfortunately, poor maintenance, hygiene issues, and lack of attention to basic service standards completely overshadowed these positives.
Overall, the property needs serious improvement in cleanliness, maintenance, and breakfast service to justify its positioning and pricing.

If your looking for a great ambiance with good service then Ocean Spray should be your first choice. They handles corporate booking smoothly… We a ls a corporate team checked in on 20th dec 2025 and check out on 21st Dec 2025 around 100plus people… They handled everything so smoothly…

Thanks to Parthiban for his very calm attitude & he is a honest guy, on the last min 3 of our employees have not come without my approach he himself reduced the price for 3 which shows the standard of the resort which is not looking just for money but also to give best service.
And last but not the least for sure… A big and special thanks to Selvi. What an amazing and strong women she is. It would have not been possible of booking ocean spray without selvi because she kept followed us for 20 days and provided all the clarity and made the arrangements end to end without a hard face… woww… Amazing team.

We had an excellent stay of four nights. All rooms seem to be spacious and well appointed, facing the artificial lake and pools. They offer a sumptuous breakfast spread. Room service was satisfactory. Restaurant lunch and dinner menu somewhat limited and rather pricey. Manu attended well to our dining needs at the restaurant during our stay. There are indoor activities and some geese on the property. The beach, a 4-min walk from the back of the property, was secluded, with some fisher nets and boats. To and fro rides to Pondicherry town can be a hassle due to limited availability of Uber. The hotel does arrange transportation, if required. The cool December weather with drizzles on the first day complemented the lovely ambience of the resort. We also saw shots for a Hotstar series while we were there. This is perhaps the best resort in/nearby Pondicherry.

The staffs are very good and cooperative also. They are very friendly and provided very good services and support whenever required. Specially thanks to Vinitha and Abhinaya who really supported to us and my daughter Harshika enjoyed a lot with them and we are going miss a lot of that enjoyment movements.
